Multiple tent options for sale at the moment

Hi, I’ve got a group of friends who will be camping in Dairy Grounds on the Weds but my friend and I are planning to arrive on the Thursday (morning) and both have a tent each. Does anyone know from previous years what the camping space will be looking like around there by Thurs? Do you think we should go Weds evening instead?

Driving from York to Glastonbury on the Wednesday morning alone and got some spare spaces in the car. If anyone needs a lift there and back you’re more than welcome to jump in. (Don’t be a weirdo)

Last year I genuinely had a couple of days where I was unable to contact anyone I was with because of the dreadful o2 signal. Does anyone suggest getting a burner phone with a different network / who is providing this year’s network?

None of my friends managed to get tickets this year so I’m looking for some chill 17/18/19 year olds to hang out with. It’s my second year at Glasto so I’m mainly looking to see more of the night life and slightly less running between stages than i did last year, but i do have a few must see artists and bands!

Ok so went to my first Glasto last year and absolutely loved everything apart from how hot our tent was. Couldn’t spend longer than 5 mins in there without feeling like I’ll pass out which made things v difficult.

I know Quechua fresh & black tent are the way to go, but has anyone used the Quechua tarp?

We’ve got a euro hike blackout 4 people tent so just need something to reflect the heat, so would this cover do the trick? It’ll work out much cheaper than buying the fresh & black tent. The other thing I’m worried about is the euro hike tent doesn’t have much ventilation, there’s a tiny flat that doesn’t let much air in. Would this be important in keeping it cool, or is the reflecting tarp enough? Any advice would be super helpful!

Just thinking that if it’s a super hot year again… does anyone have any good recommendations for covers for tents that are good at reflecting the sun/heat in the mornings?

Bought a proper flag pole and decent quality flag this year to carry around as I’m now in a bigger group but obviously there be a part when i wanna leave it at the campsite for a location pin point. I’m guessing there’s no prevention while I’m away from the campsite other than putting it away.

So last weekend I fractured my tibia & my fibula. The tibia fracture isn't too bad and has been left to heal by itself. The fibula fracture is pretty bad so I've had a metal plate shoved in my leg with screws and such. Currently i'm in a medical boot on crutches & been told to that I need to be partially weight-bearing (max 50%) for 6 weeks & "careful" for 6 weeks after that.

Anyway, I'm looking for any tips and advice leading up to the festival to help speed up my recovery/confidence. I have never broken any bones before nor have I ever used crutches before. I'm finding that my anxiety is really high when using the crutches. Also whenever I use the crutches it's like I'm using them for the first time (still in the first week) again. Does it get easier/more natural over time? Does the pain get easier to manage over time or become less of a sharp stabbing pain and more of an inconvenience pain whenever I place my foot down? Will my leg just go "Yeah you're all good now" randomly one morning but I still need to be careful?

Note: All of the doctors said Glastonbury was doable just that I should wear the medical boot at the festival even if my leg is in good shape to help signal to people that I'm not the sturdiest human being at the moment. We're also Glamping which will be a huge help.

Hello - does anyone know what happens if you have a coach ticket but aren’t able to get on the coach anymore? My friend can’t get the Thursday coach anymore but can arrive at Glastonbury on the Friday.

Does the coach driver hand it in at the festival?

So me and my whole group of 6 that are going to glasto are all either 17 or 16, and was just wondering if we’d be able to get served at a bar or anything like that, or if we’d get turned away. To my knowledge we don’t have anyone going that we know who is 18 that can slip us the wristbands so will we struggle to get served?

Their UK tour dates align well. Disappointed they aren’t on the lineup.

Hi, Heard a story about an independent artist performing at Glastonbury a few years back. They were causing a mischief fair enough, but apparently the security beat them up, drove them into a forest where they were beaten to a pulp by a mob of bouncers. They chucked out of a moving vehicle outside the First Aid tent. I’m a big fan of Glastonbury and quite shocked by this. Has anyone else got similar stories I wonder? Is this a thing?!
