The Glastonbury Festival is a five-day festival of contemporary performing arts that takes place in Pilton, Somerset, England.
In addition to music, the festival hosts dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other arts. Leading pop and rock artists have headlined, alongside thousands of others appearing on smaller stages and performance areas.
This is an unofficial fan sub, and is not affliliated to the festival.
We are NOT in any way an OFFICIAL page or affiliated with the festival itself.
Glastonbury Festival is the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world and a template for all the festivals that have come after it. The difference is that Glastonbury has all the best aspects of being at a Festival in one astonishing bundle.
It's like going to another country, a huge tented city, a mini-state under canvas. British law still applies, but the rules of society are a bit different, a little bit freer. Everyone is here to have a wild time in their own way.
This Reddit community is for lovers of The Glastonbury Festival to discuss bands, lineup times, dos and donts, safety issues etc and also to discuss and share photos and their experiences after the festival.
We could even organise annual Redditor meetups at the Festival.

Last year was my first visit to the lovely farm. It proved to be quite stressful and financially killing on my end lol.
I didnt manage to get tickets tho a friend did...
but how on gods green earth can I cope now knowing what I'm missing out on?
When is the latest map usually released?
I met Fat Dog outside of their gig in Southampton last Thursday, and they confirmed they are playing woodsies in 2025. No major surprise given their popularity, but I’ll definitely be there to see them!
Someone my mum works with used to be in a dance group with a woman who’s married to one of the JLS members (quite tenuous but the link is definitely there) my mum was talking about how I got tickets to the festival this year and apparently JLS have been booked to play on westholts.
I’m assuming it will be a similar time slot that had the sugar babes last year
They are play Coachella and touring Europe festivals
Chancing my arm here but would anyone be up for swapping their East Quiet for my East General?
I missed out on a blue / east campervan spot on Thursday (had 3 devices on the go, was ready to go at midday etc). I think I was naive about the amount of demand that there would be!
So that I'm prepared....What are my chances of getting one when the resale happens? After the resale, is that it? Or do they continue to come available between resale date and festival start?
So tempted
He has a Glasto sized gap during his June tour dates so unless there’s another major festival I see it happening 👀
One of the best high energy rappers I’ve ever seen live. He actually raps almost every word of his verses unlike a lot of rappers nowadays. Moshes gonna go hard.
What stage do you think he’d be on?

Went a bit mad booking the camper tickets. Everyone said, 'dont fuck it up!'
Well I fucked it up.
Got greedy and booked large pitch (on bath and west) over a regular, just wanted the space.
Now everyone is saying we need a van 8 meters or they won't let us in.
*Can we rock up on a large pitch with a normal sized van or will the Glastonbury police remove us?
My friend and me messed up a little and managed to end up with an east general campervan spot and two b&w spots. We only need two, one for his family and one for mine. Is there any reason we should keep hold of the east general and try and get another one in resale or should we just cancel it and both be at b&w? Or even any reason to have one of each instead i.e. him at bw and me at East? First time for both of us!
Got a regular camper van pitch on bath and west, pitch is 8x7 and van is only 7x3, so I wondered if I’d be able to set up a tent for a friend to stay next to us with that spare space. It said on the website you can use an awning but no mention of tents.
Thanks
We failed on the local sale? Never have done before, hence asking.
We (4Xgirls) managed to secure a 4man scout tent at WV, ideally would have preferred a bell tent or a 6man but the 4man scout was all that was left available. I'm worried seeing videos of the inside of the tents that we will be super cramped? Has anyone here done 4 people In the 4man scout tents before? I'm thinking we could leave bulky things like spare wellys, extra crates of drink etc in the car since it won't be a long walk to get it.
Haven’t heard them mentioned anywhere, but they are on tour in Europe with the last date on 21st of June in Spain. Plus they crushed it at Glastonbury a few years ago. Thoughts?
I have just booked a 4 man yurt at sticklinch and was curious if anyone ever booked a 4 man yurt at sticklinch before? I was curious to see what is inside, does it come with mattresses what does it look like inside etc.
Hi everyone, was lucky enough to secure a 4 person bell tent at worthy view. Just wondering if anyone would comment on how many people this reasonably sleeps or has any pictures of inside from last year? Thanks in advance!
Hi! For anyone who has stayed in WV in previous years, the tent location is allocated ahead of time, right? It's not first come first served? The purchased tent location is reserved and ultimately there's no real difference between arriving at the crack of dawn vs. later in the day?
We have coach tickets and are arriving on the Thursday but are staying in Worthy View.
Is there a transport service within the festival or just a long walk?
Glasto first timer here and massive 1975 fan so as you can imagine the rumours of them potentially headlining the Pyramid Stage are super exciting!!!
I’ve been scouring chat forums and social media weekly for any updated rumours or news, so if anyone has anymore insider information, please share if you can. Are they as nailed on as everyone says? Or am I to be disappointed haha
I’m biased obviously, but it’s interesting to see people’s reactions of disappointment by the rumours of them headlining the Pyramid stage. I know they aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but surely it makes sense that at this point in their career they would be taking a headline slot? They have a pretty large catalog now and know how to put on a show, you only have to look at their headline performances at R&L 22 and 23
I got 2x Worthy View 6 people tents today - are they guaranteed to be next to each other or is there a chance our group might be separated?
Hello!
I have bought a Bath and West white route which I would be happy to swap but I think that's quite unlikely. If anyone has bought one too many General camper van passes - drop me a DM!
Peace and Love
Hi all,
I managed, for the first time after trying for YEARS, to get tickets! I am wondering if anyone has any top tips for me for the festival? In terms of camping, best spots to go, food etc etc. I managed to already book the ashcombe parking.
It would be greatly appreciated ❤️🫡
Hi lovely people,
My other half had an oopsie and forgot to add parking - we can only purchase this now if a tent is in the basket too, even when using the same registration number associated with the original accommodation booking.
Does anyone know if there is any way around this? Website states parking tix will not be available to buy on arrival 🥲
I keep getting the message - you have lost connection to your line, on 3 seperate devices all on seperate internet connections while trying to get camping tickets for Sticklinch or Worthy View. Anyone else got this or know how to get past it? :(
