I won’t have the money until next month, if I buy my car park pass then. Will it arrive on time? I’m stressing about it now haha
Hi, so I purchased tickets back in January whilst they were cheaper on Ticketmaster. I'm no longer gonna be attending as I'm not really that fussed about what bands are going to be at the festival. But I'm not able to put them up for resale, I'm not sure if that's due to the tickets not being ready to put up yet, or if it's because I have a hoodie, shirt and a lanyard ordered with it as well? If someone could give me some clarification, advice or answers, that's be amazing.
(Or anything related to day tickets)
Hey all, I couldn't find anything in other posts about this but I have a couple questions about the big green coach - will be getting it from Southampton if its any help.
Will it get there before the music starts? Surely it will be like leaving at 5am in order to get there to not miss stuff.
Also what is a general price range for ticket+coach for 1 day? does anyone know what it was last year?
Thanks in advance and sorry for asking questions
Hi all,
I am a carer for boys ages 11-18, my key child is a massive fan of averaged sevenfold as well as fall out boy for this year. He is turning 18 in May and I’d like to get him tickets to see either. Can’t afford / justify a whole weekend ticket for just us two.
He may be leaving my care when he turns 18 and finishes his college course so I’m wondering when usually day tickets go on sale so I can get the tickets and not disappoint him of going!
YES im unbelievably organised, yes im a dork, yes im going to be living my best life for 5 days and yes my bag weighs about 50 stone hahaha but i HAD to make sure its going to be comfortable as well as fun. I know there will be a lot of people enjoying mostly peaceful evenings in the quiet camp but i really am looking forward to some tunes during the day, maybe chilling with some friends along the way and just leaving my crappy life behind for a bit. I hope to meet every single one of you and hopefully will be able to make this a yearly thing.
I’ve been thinking about where some of the artists appearing might guest feature with another band. Some likely ones I’d love to see are:
Corey Taylor appearing with Code Orange ‘The Hunt’. Really hoping for this as they are on the same day and I think CT will clash and I might have to miss him altogether otherwise.
Wargasm appearing with Enter Shikari on ‘Stare into the Void’. Very probable as they did it last year at Slamdunk and they are on the same day.
Fred Durst appearing with Wargasm on ‘Bang ya Head’. Less likely as they are different days but I’m still hopeful….
Can another think of/suggest any others? Always like an unexpected appearance from some of my favourite artists.
Normally I'd just rent one of the chargers on site but I'm going to a few festivals this year so it just makes more sense to buy a solar panel but I'm not sure what one to get.
What ones do you use and recommend or discourage me to buy?
Hey all,
I'm getting a flag made to hoist in RIP. Generally what size do people have?
3'x2' seems a bit small but 5'x3' maybe s bit big?
Thanks in advance. 🤘
Hi as a new comer to download I've just got a quick question. Not wanting to break the bank on a tent as I won't be using it that often other than this download and maybe some upcoming depending how this one goes.
Anyone one got any recommendations on a tent (for 1 person but would sleep 2)
Thank you
Quick question, I’m a first time downloader and I’ve got some things ready for download including a tent however I’m just wondering if anyone else has used the same tent and what their experiences were like with that tent.
Tent is a QUECHUA 4 Man Blackout Tent With Poles - Arpenaz 4.1 F&B
Following on from the question about staying warm at night, I struggled last year with being cold once it got into the nighttime but didn't fancy an hour plus round trip to go pick up a coat from camp. Are there lockers in the arena? Would make life infinitely easier and surely it's an easy moneymaker?
For example if it really does piss it down, what HH is good for a tent to keep the water out? Thankyouuuu! 😊
I’ve been doing festivals for over ten years and in recent years I’m finding that at night no matter how much I layer up, move around, or party, I’m still freezing.
Last year I had a vest, band tee, hoody and waterproof with tight and cargos in the evening and I ended up leaving the dog house and getting in bed because I was so cold.
Does anyone have any hacks/hints/tips so I don’t have to cut the nights short?
After a few years hiatus so looking forward to be coming back!
My husband and I however due to real world commitments can only arrive from the Friday and we’ve opted for 3 Days Quiet (past them wild all nighters now!)
I’m hoping that some of you lovely folks can share some words of advice/past experience on what it’s like rocking up on a 3 day tickets and finding pitch from late morning. It’s just 2 people with a 4 man tent).
I’ve read the stories of last years traffic over the weekend (sorry some of you had to endure that!). I know we won’t know about that until the day, what the queues are like, but hoping to get in to the campsites for 11am-ish. Hoping and praying for everyone they’ve sorted it out from last year!
I missed the previous pay windows due to getting paid late but had the money in my bank for the deadline (17th April @16:00), they haven't taken any money out of my bank and I'm just wondering why as it does say that if I do not pay by this time I will lose all my previous installments, does anyone know why this is and if there's anyway to fix it? Thanks
Has anyone else done a day at download before and stayed in the area nearby? I’m trying to find a possible place to stay that would be easy to get to whilst using only public transport (or a taxi at most)? the shuttle bus timetable from what I could find online looks like it stops before the headliner would potentially finish, and last year the sky bus link from Derby only reached as far as the airport down the road. I would love to stay for the entire headliner, but don’t want to get stranded in Donnington. I know other people must have probably done a similar thing last year with day tickets, but from my experiences with a weekend ticket last year the information on google for public transport wasn’t the most reliable and hadn’t accounted for changes because of the festival. So I’m just wondering how other people found transport and getting home or nearby areas after the festival etc?
What do we cook with then?
Got 2 RIP tickets to sell at early bird prices however seems to be a fair few out there for sale.
Is there a date where the tickets become available to sell on ticketmaster?
Disclaimer: not looking to sell my ticket to anyone on Reddit in this sub
Question: Does anyone know when tickets are available to sell? I brought on Ticketmaster and I still don’t have the option to sell
Do Weekend Arena tickets get given wristbands or not?
Hi, this will be my first time attending. I have the 5 night camping ticket and unfortunately due to my relationship ending, it looks like I’m going solo. I’ve never been to a camping festival before and I don’t exactly want to sell my ticket either. So looking for tips and advice from those who’ve gone in the past!
Thank you ❤️
(I’m 24F and will be travelling from Dublin if that is relevant at all)
Looking for some advice please?
My husband (30M) and I (25F) have a son who is turning 1 in May. I bought us tickets to Download for my husband's Christmas present and we've both been so so excited ro go! We've never been to the festival before, but the bands/artists are quite literally our dream line up. Unfortunately, my husband lost both of his parents very young and I have a strained relationship with my family, so we haven't been able to arrange childcare for the festival. I had hoped my parents would be able to, but like I said, strained relationship so they've said no. I originally told my husband to take a friend and enjoy himself, but he really doesn't want to go without me, so rather than forfeit the whole weekend, would we be okay taking our 1 year old son with us? We've opted out of camping anyway so will be staying in an air bnb/hotel, we understand we'll have to be well away from the most pits hahah. Of course, we're sensible parents and our son will be our priority wherever we are, but is it really safe? Do many people take children/babies with them? Any advice would be really really appreciated! Thanks
UPDATE: I had no idea that this was quite a controversial topic, probably naive of me. Neither me or my partner have ever been to this festival so I would have no idea what it entailed, hence why I've asked. I just want the opinions and advice of others to help me make the best decision for us and our baby. Rest assured, he is the priority and I wouldn't take him anywhere unprepared or neglect his needs:)
I'm wondering if they'll release parking passes for just the day instead of having to buy the weekend one? Does anyone remember from past years if that's the case or if I need to suck it up and buy a weekend parking pass?
