Still kind of on a high from going to the show, probably one Martin’s best performances ever. I’m really hoping everyone recorded their sets cus I missed Shanghai Doom/Sharlitz Web😩. Literally flew in from Atlanta the day of, flight was delayed and was nervous that we wouldn’t have made the show. Came in a lil after G-Rex/Sully started and was so hard to find a spot. Even tho it was so packed I was met with nothing but excuse me/sorrys’ & good vibes from everyone. Thank God we met some cool people somewhere in the middle and let us stand next to them, even kind of made some space for us. We thanked neighbors on both sides by sharing our joint and bought some water with the group that my brother chatted with. The only shitty part was that we missed our connecting flight back home and my brother thought he lost his wallet, he eventually found it n we had a good laugh. Kinda ranting but I just wanted to say I’m so glad to be apart of the community and thank the universe for Wakaan/Liquid Stranger💜. I knew I’d regret it for the rest of my life if I never went😭🥹.

We are so fortunate to have Martin in the EDM community for as long as we've had. He honestly checks all the right marks in my book. ✅️ Best dressed ✅️ Best dance moves ✅️ Best speeches ✅️ Most wholesome Every time I see him perform, I can't stop smiling because I can feel how much he appreciates us. Wakaan Rocks was so special for me this year, surrounded by good friends who then helped me the very next day with my wedding. So much love flowing around right now.

To add forewarning to the post: I’m a tall man and I always check to see if everyone can see the show standing behind me.

I had made many friends around me and the area where my friends were. We had been there since Shanghai Doom. I went to use the bathroom and came back to you and your friends telling me “no you can’t stand there you’re too tall.” I have some real hang ups about being my size and it really hurt to leave for a short time to come back to such negative energy from someone I had not seen all night. I ended up leaving early and not enjoying the show with my friends, but I hope you enjoyed your space.

Hi everyone- I just wanna say I am so damn excited for my first Wakaan. I love liquid stranger so much and got to catch him this past weekend in Nashville on his Wakaan expansion tour and lemme just say it made me that much more excited for September. I can’t wait to experience this amazing festival with all of you amazing souls. ❤️

I’m really thinking about going, but I’d be coming from San Diego and flights to the XNA airport are super pricey! It would be more reasonable to fly into Little Rock and then find a ride. How likely is it that I’ll be able to find a ride to and from the Little Rock airport? Is anyone else coming from SoCal specifically San Diego?

My first ever festival was Firefly in Delaware and it was probably my most life changing experience of my life. It was my first experience in the EDM community and I haven’t looked back since. I got to roll for the first time at Tame Impala (we did a full reagent test and fent) and then go straight to Diplo. I had also never been around people that were so open to expressing themselves. One night at our campsite (we were so unprepared and had a tent a mini cooler and three lawn chairs with zero sun protection) a man named Jay stumbled into our circle and said he had lost his way. We told him to come hang out with us for a while until he could find his friends. He started telling us about his life and how he started using K therapy when he was 14 after a car accident that left him with physical trauma and PTSD. He also was the first person I had ever met who had experienced ego death. As we’re sitting here bewildered by this man who smelled of patchouli and had white people dreads down to his ass, he proceeded to snort an entire bag of K in front of us and even resorted to flipping the bag inside and shoving the plastic up his nose to make sure he didn’t miss out on any of the remnants. My friends and I were in awe of the way this man could consume substances and how he has managed to go to over 50 festivals in his life. We still think about the wook Jay to this day and hope he’s alive and well.
