How many people attend? Does it feel crowded?

Never been to infra but my lil bro wants to go to a festival this summer. He’s not steeped in the culture yet and he can be a bit anxious in crowds so I’m hoping to take him to a fest that isn’t over whelming. Can’t wait to show him the beauty of raving 🥹

Infrasound is going to be my 1st festival, what do I bring?

Just the title. I've been a raver at shows up until this point. So the experience of a festival is new to me and I'm excited.

Besides the obvious- a tent, camping gear, etc - is there anything yall would recommend to bring? Also do I need to bring something to cook over or can we make fires?

Thanks!😁

Pros/Cons car camping vs. Not

Hey y'all this is my first year doing infrasound! I'm still on the fence about buying a car camping pass. By the sounds of it camping under the oak trees seems like its part of the experience but I've never done camping away from my car and having the car next to you during a festival definitely has it's percs. Lmk what y'all's experiences were like please and thank you! Can't wait to get dirty with y'all this summer 🤪🤪

Need advice-considering doing infra equinox this year rather than wakaan.

I love Wakaan so damn much but it’s looking a bit lame this year with the new rules they are starting to push out…has anyone attended both and feel one is better than the other? How many ppl do they cap equinox at? When do they typically release the dates for it? Any info is appreciated:)

Camping Info?

This is my first time going to Infra. I've looked on the website for the FAQs and didn't find much as far as do bring/don't bring. Obviously no glass. But are there any other things I should know? I have gone to Firefly and they required like clear bags and empty camelbaks before entering. Is it a similar situation here? As for camping itself, is there a set size as to each tent site?

What are some of your artist locks and hopefuls..?

I don’t really care who’s there, I already got my ticket and am so excited for my first Infra, this is for the sake of discussion.

I think we can agree that Ternion sound is a lock, which them alone makes the fest worth it imo.

I’m hoping we get: Distinct Motive, Chef Boyarbeatz, Die by the sword, Kercha, Ramsez, Chad dubz, Hebbe, Digital Mystikz/Mala/Coki (their red rocks set changed me for the better), Jakes, Joker, Leo Cap (at the mercy of his visa approval), Grawinkel & Cartridge to name a few lmao! Also super stoked to discover some new artists as well.

Who are your artist locks and hopefuls?

Edit: recently been going through Teffa’s music and holy fuck, hope their playing Infra!!!

Car camping?

I got car camping but idk anything about it at infra. Where is the car camping located? Is it even worth it? If I decide to sell it, how would I go about that? Thanks infra fam 💖

Pre-sale pricing?

Just curious if anyone knows how the pre-sale tier looked versus early bird. I didn’t do the ordering this morning but my bf was on it at 10 AM, said that he got in and the pre-sale was sold out already and his next option was early bird. I would think that pre-sale pricing would go until normal sale went on at noon? Does anyone know if there were a limited number of pre-sale-priced tickets? Or was there even a difference in pricing? Anyways, tix secured. Can’t wait to be in the happy place with you beautiful humans that are going!

This is my first year and i dont know what to expect in terms of tickets.

I havent talked to my group yet, is it a good festival to send solo if it comes to that? Whats the best camping option???

Is there any vip/glamp type spot thats worth the money???

TIA 🧚🏼‍♀️✨

Ticket Sale Dates

Hey quick question, when do tickets normally go on-sale? What should I expect for ticket tiers and pricing? Any camping info would be appreciated as I think we’re hauling the camper up! Thank you in advance.

Infrasound NYE is cancelled

The following is copy and pasted from Alex Toffler's post in Infrasound Family on Facebook:

"Unfortunate news, please read it fully.

I'm going to be completely transparent about what's going on. Culprate's visa petition was approved at the start of November which meant he only had the in-person interview left which is typically a routine process. During his initial interview, the visa immigration office had requested he complete a second additional appointment in London which would allow them to put the visa in his passport. What should have been routine became an unexpected and less than ideal situation as London's appointment availability with the holidays was not available. To sum it up, We aimed and planned for Culprate to have his Visa in time and were confident moving forward with the booking for Infrasound NYE and his debut US performance given that the visa petition was approved on Nov 7. Unfortunately, as of yesterday, I was given this update and informed Culprate is no longer able to make the event as a result.

We've looked into options for replacements, and obviously, being only 10 days out from NYE there are no fitting options to fill the hole a headliner leaves.

After learning this, I've spent all of yesterday and today discussing our options and as much as I hate to do it, we're going to be cancelling Infrasound NYE. I want to give you some insight into why we came to this decision. I'm sure many of you are aware, now more than ever people are buying their tickets closer and closer to the date of the event which means the final 10 days of marketing and ticket sales are absolutely critical to the success of an event. With losing a main act on both nights, as an event we would feel obligated to open a refund window and accept all requests made by ticket holders. Between this and not being able to find a suitable replacement, it felt clear that if we move forward with the show as is, there would be significant losses that could even affect our 2024 camping events and beyond... This is the truth of being an independent event and promoter, there is no corporation to bail us out when things go wrong. Recognizing this has been very difficult, but I know that this is what has to be done to keep our dream alive.

I appreciate all of your support and understanding. Most of these artists have already committed to play either Infra or Eqx in 2024 now.

All tickets will be automatically refunded to their point of purchase.

I understand this is not ideal for a lot of people's plans and travel, etc. For questions or issues please email us.

I feel awful to be letting everyone down. See you in 2024 <3"

Is this a dubstep only festival?

I used to love dubstep but I just don’t vibe with it like I used to, I’d much rather go to house or techno show. That being said, I LOVED Hamdi’s set at wobbleween and space laces at slander so I can get back into it here and there. My friends are infra stans and have been asking me to go for many years but it seems like a primarily dubstep/bass festival. Do the DJs ever dabble in anything else? Sorry subgenres aren’t my strong suit lol

Snowta

Toffler posted news that culprate would play new years, I really hope this comes true. I was going to go to Philly after an amazing time at submersion fest and the same crew running that NYE show but now I have turned on two flight alerts just in case. However, I fear this might be a pipe dream. Thoughts?
