Stayed at the RenCen last year and loved it, seems to have gone way more expensive for next year though (i.e. paid about 1500 usd for 4 nights last year and it's now about 2500 usd for 4 nights next year). Would love to stay there again but wondering if prices lower at any specific time frame? Also, what are best places to stay THAT close to movement? (Loved the fact I could just walk to my room to rest/freshen up and back to the festival). Thanks in advance.

Last year was my first year for Movement, and I was a little late to pick up tickets for a few of the afterparties. When do these parties typically release tickets?

This will be me and friends first time going to Movement. Are hotels normally this expensive? I'm looking at 400-500 a night for downtown! Is this normally the price? Do you guys have any recommendations? Bnbs, verbo maybe?

Do tickets sell out as quickly for the regular sale as they did for the pre-sale today? I am planning on attending for the first time in 2025 and am kicking myself for not being on the ball today for the presale. If I am online and ready to go when regular tickets go on sale do I have a good chance of scoring a pair. I have high hopes of attending and am worried now. Thanks for your help!

does movement allow through out the year to upgrade your GA ticket to VIP? I thought I had seen a post this year that they were allowing that but correct me if im wrong.

Idk if it was just me this year that thought this but the crowd at the main stage during dom dolla this year was HORRIBLE!! Like I get it’s the main stage, it’s gonna get crowded. but literally to the point where I’m getting pushed every 2 mins cause people were trying to get to the front that was clearly packed and had no room. Was very disappointed and had to leave half was through the set cause it was getting that dangerous.

How likely do people think Fred will play Movement, seeing as Pax is promoting his performance at LCA.

I am going to summer bliss at Tangent this weekend. My kids are very interested in checking out the music and art. I can’t find any information if this is an all ages event. I would like to bring them for a couple hours Sunday during the day if possible.

The most awful and unpleasant experience! My husband and I weren't planning to attend, but just so happened that we were downtown by the festival on Memorial Day. As we walk by the entrance, with plenty of the Movement staff, and with plenty of the Security and police officers around, people were offering us to buy bracelets in order to be able to enter the festival. So naturally, we did purchase them, just to find out upon entrance that they are not valid or legal. And the lady at the entrance took the scissors without any warning and without asking for permission, to cut my bracelet. Well, it is my bracelet and I did pay money for it so I need to be reimbursed for property damage. One cannot help, but wonder if people should not sell bracelets in the streets, right by the entrance, with feet from it, why there is not at least one single sign to warn people not to purchase the bracelets from the street?! And once again, numerous, plenty of the festival staff, and security, and police officers were right next with feet or inches distance. Is this all a big scam or a criminal enterprise? Are they all in cahoots to rip off people?! I am sure the dame thing happened to somebody else, at that constitutes a class action lawsuit, plus I'm considering a legal action for invasion of personal space and property damage. How dare you to invade my body and cut something that's on my body that I paid for, with your knowledge and in your presence?! Smh!!! What a hideous act! Nothing memorable about it or about that day. Bottom line it was just a bad testing unpleasant experience, and I start to believe that the movement is nothing but a criminal enterprise. On my rating scale, they are well into the negative, by the millions! Ugly, ugly, ugly!
