Hey, me and my friend are planning to travel from Ireland to reading fest this year.
Obviously camping is part of the festival experience but really we've worked a good bit for the chance to go and can afford a hotel no problem.
What hotel would be the best bet for easy commute to the festival?
I’m on sky and had alright service last year, could send texts and get on social media for the first part of the day, but I’m looking at switching to Three, what’s the service like with them?
Me and my Mrs are going to Reading for the first time. I have been to a few 1 dayers but nothing of this scale.
We are getting the train from the SW but had a few questions:
Thanks :)
unsure if u can trade camp tickets as its my first year going, me and my friend just missed out on green eco camp tickets, we have white camp but unfortunately I have leg issues that cause a lot of pain, so green eco camp would be more ideal for us. does anyone know if camp tickets can be traded later on and if anyone would have 2 spare?

I was wondering if there are any reliable reseller websites with Saturday tickets available?
I have a ticket for Sunday but there are a few of my favourite bands performing on the Saturday so I’m trying my luck!
I have notifications on for Twickets but nothings come through yet, anywhere else I can try?
Hi, 20 M coming over from New Zealand for a trip plus the Saturday day. Going for lana mainly but wanting to check everything out. if anyone is keen on going together just flick me a msg!!
my transaction declined for the second month in a row even with money being in my account and the contact number (0333 321 9999) is saying the number isnt in use anymore… is there another way of contacting them im sick of this happening every month i just want to pay my ticket
I’m going to reading with my bf and I am desperate to make friends. Do people usually make friends at reading ? Also how do you make friends at reading ?
My friends payment plan ticket has been cancelled, they have already paid £270 towards it but the last instalment hadn't even attempted to come out her bank account even though the money was there. Just wondering if anyone has ever managed to sort a situation like this out as Ticketmaster customer support could not help. Cheers
I am attending Wednesday - Sunday with one other person with a campervan.
Obviously we need to get the festival tickets each but how many campervan passes do we need.
Is it 1 for the 1 vehicle we have or 2 for the 2 of us
Do you often think deeply about various topics? Do you enjoy pondering abstract concepts such as the meaning of life or if god exists, or other philosophical questions like 'What is happiness?'
Actually, it's hard to find a place or like-minded people to engage in such conversations.
I have a general admissions day ticket. My hotel check in time is 10. What time do you get into the festival and what time do they stop letting people in?
Does anyone know what artists are likely to clash? I’m worried Liam Gallagher and beebadoobee are gonna clash😔
Hello, does anyone know if prodigy and blink 182 are likely to clash at reading Friday
got the 120 pound three payment plan last week when will they take the money out of my account
As the title says, I was a tad late to getting green eco unfortunately - would anybody happen to have nabbed a spare or have one they no longer need please?
Thanks!! ☺️
Does anyone wanna be added to a groupchat to put together a big camping group and make some friends :)) solo and group campers welcome
Hi guys! Just thought I’d throw a playlist I made for the festival on this sub, I’m sure most people probably already have one but yeah, I look into each artists setlists and put their most played songs at festivals and gigs in the playlist with the aim of when you listen, every sing you hear will be played at the festival!
Cheers
Looks like Reading has devolved back to its previous state of bottles of piss, etc. Imagine well-behaved crowds at Reading! 🤣
Hi everyone!
My name is Lucy I’m 25/f.
I just joined this sub because I am planning on going to reading fest on my ones this year.
Is anyone else going alone and wanting friends?
If so- please message me, I’d love to meet new people this year!
People I’m excited to see include:
i was meant to book reading with three friends tomorrow but two cancelled and one is left unsure so highly doubt shes coming either. i asked my mum to go with me and she agreed as long as we stay with my cousins so we asked but theyre in pink moon camp which is too expensive so looking like i cant go with them either. too nervous to go by myself but really been excited for the prodigy tbh and missed going last year so i dont know what to do. feeling really sad about it tbh.
ok before you start getting on to me - i get it. staying at the barrier all day is a bad idea but i'm going to do it regardless and so is everyone else with a saturday ticket. i've looked at the poster and have seriously considered just not staying at the main stage all day, but i don't like any of the other artists enough and all of the artists on the main stage i do like and know enough songs to not just sit there and be rude whilst their playing (except for courting - but i will listen to them and learn some songs). i was at the front at hyde park and i got there at 8am and was 10th in the queue (the gates opened at 14:00) i know reading is wildly different so my question is what time should i get there? i'm coming from london and i've never been to reading before AND i'm going on my own (and i'm 17). what is the queuing system - gates open at 9:30 but the arena opens at 11:00 so what happens in between then? also, am i gonna have to leg it as soon as the arena opens?
please don't tell me not to because i am going to. <3

so we have camped before but made the mistake of getting tents that were TOO small, they were literally 1 man kids size pop up tents and it was really rough. so we’re looking at tents for this year and one of them is a yurt style tent, here’s the measurements -
260cm h x 365cm w x 365cm d
we would be getting two (one each). i have a feeling this is gonna be too big. we’re staying in quiet camp but obviously nobody wants to be surrounded by twats with obnoxiously big tents. any help appreciated, especially if any of you take ‘big’ tents.
Hello I’ve 4x reading tickets but now everyone else is going to Leeds. Is anyone looking to swap?
