Im heading to Thailand in January and was wondering what kind of music is typically played at EDC. I know it’s EDM but is it mostly trance, techno, house?

For context, I’m from Belfast (Ireland). Trance and hard techno would be my preference: the likes of Bryan Kearney, Billy Gillies, Rebuke and Charlotte de Witte.

I wouldn’t be overly fussed on dnb, dubstep and the likes.

If anyone could help me out it’d be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

I know it is widely expensive to take an Uber to or from EDC, but say you are 3 miles from your shuttle stop, is the uber ridiculously priced to move around downtown or is it just bad and surge pricing going to the event.

I would be going from Circus Circus to World Market Center for reference, anyone have experience with this?

I googled and read the shuttle mini fact but am a little confused. The closest location to where we are staying is the strat but all passes were sold out so we went for world market. We have a 6:30 to 3:AM time.

Am I reading it right that the premier pass can be used as standard ANY time at ANY stop? So can we potentially go to the Strat instead and hop into the standard admission line, or take the standard admission line to the strat at the end of the day instead of the world market that we are assigned to?

Edit- Answered. It appears it acts as a standard shuttle pass you can used from any location or time slot with the added bonus of ur designated premier time slot!

Hello this is my friends and my first EDC and I missed the parking pass sales! I was wondering if they will have any restocks on Premier Parking passes.

If not, when do people generally start reselling? I've also heard there is a waitlist, but when do you think that would open up? Thanks!

First time going and I want to weigh out the pros and cons for both transportation options.

Going to EDC 25 as my first one. literally have no idea what to expect as only ever been to raves in the UK. Got the premium shuttle and GA+ tickets and got an airbnb for the week. Basically going solo too.

Any advice on what to take with me, what to wear (if i wear a kilt is that too much) , what to expect is all super appreciated. Thanks guys & gals!

Hey y’all! As the title suggests, it’s my first time at EDC, it’ll be my first EDM festival overall! 7 months approaches real fast, so I’m looking for as much advice as I can get. I got my Airbnb a few miles from the strip, I sprung for VIP and premium shuttles, and I’m probably gonna risk the drive there. Any and all advice is welcome, but I do have a few questions I’d love answered:

1. Big Boy fashion: I’m a bigger guy (6’5” 300+) so finding clothes in the first place is TOUGH. If anyone has any sites or stores that stock 3XL+ I’d love to hear it!

2. EDC EDC: I’d like to bring the right stuff with me so that my first experience can be as fun as possible. I’ve heard gum, chapstick, and camelback, but I’d hate to miss out on some fantastic suggestions.

3. Disappearing Act: The original plan is to meet up with my friend and her group, but the last time I went to a festival (Baja Beach Fest) I almost immediately disappeared from my group. That festival is MUCH smaller in size and attendance, plus mixing with 20+ (dirt cheap) drinks each day, I was making friends every night and having a blast. That said, I’m probably going to disappear again, but since I probably won’t be as inebriated, I’m incredibly intimidated by the sheer size of the venue and amount of people, so I’d love some advice on making friends for the night!

4. Room For Activities: I’ve tried watching different videos of past EDCs, but they’re either hours long or very quick overviews of the Ferris wheel and the DJs on stage. What other activities are there that you’d say are a “can’t miss”?

How hard is it to find Strat Shuttle Passes from now till next May? Is it sold out for good? 😭

Hi! I’m going with a small group to Las Vegas 2025 and they are split on getting the shuttle. They claim they can “drive and get into the festival within 30 minutes.” Is this even remotely possible?? They’re also waiting for Black Friday to find a hotel on the strip. Is this viable? It looks like most places are already booked up.

Do they search really well?

Do I put the deposit down and then get the tickets? Confused on how it works. How much should I budget for the trip? 1k?

I hit the jackpot at my local station. They were on sale too!

First time in EDCLV in 2025 and missed my chance to get a shuttle pass at a closer stop at my hotel. Will they re-release these shuttle passes or premier parking passes? I still dont know the best way to get to EDCLV but these are my two choices. Thank you!

so I was at cosmic meadow on day 1 and just finished dabin’s set. was going to stay for slander’s and I wish we did bc the first 5 mins were insane, but my gf’s sister had to use the restroom so we went to the ones next to bionic jungle. as much as I wish we stayed for slander, I wouldn’t have met my friend Chris! he was there for his 10th EDC (or year of raving, I forgot 😅) and he was there with a couple of his boys + their s/o and his wife! he introduced his wife to raving I believe and it was such a cool moment to meet a veteran who was open to me yapping and I really appreciated him taking the time to talk to me and just bonding. if you read this Chris I hope your doing well and hopefully I see you again in May!

Hello EDC friends. I find myself in an unexpected predicament. Four weeks ago, it was determined that I could not attend EDC, and so I obtained a full refund of my GA+ ticket through the claim system. Well, today I received an EDC goodie bag in the mail, with one of the items in it being my GA+ wristband! I'm curious if the wristband is active or not. Was this a mistake that slipped under the radar? Or do I simply have a dead wristband?

I'm going to edc orlando. This is my first edc/rave. I know nothing about the music or the culture. Does anyone have any tips.

This will be my 5th EDC and the last 4 have been VIP and this time around I couldn’t come to grips that VIP is $1400. I ended up going with GA+ which was half the cost of VIP. Now I’m kinda regretting not fully going with VIP, I know I can upgrade when I’m there per day or per weekend, anyone with experience upgrading to VIP per day and how much did that cost you?

I bought a standard shuttle for EDC Vegas because the options i wanted for premier were sold out. If I wanted to leave at the end of the night, about how long am I going to wait to get on a shuttle? Or what time should I leave the festival to hop on a shuttle?

Okay I made a post yesterday and am making another bc all Im familiar with is camping lol.

Fiancé and I are tryna get married edclv 2026. Family only intends to go one day (the day we hopefully get a slot). I don’t find it useful for them to get a shuttle. Someone recommended premier parking but they (family) insist on dong rental cars despite my explanations of the shit shows. Probably because they intend to walk around the strip and other areas of Vegas throughout the weekend.

They don’t intend to leave with the masses at 4-5am and prob won’t stay past 1-2am if I’m being honest. In these circumstances, is there a specific time you recommend they start making their way to the speedway?

I also looked into premier parking but that seems a hit or miss.

What has ur experiences been?
