Sure was a lot of talk of coming back in 2019.
Can anyone help me find him on social media/soundcloud? There appears to be multiple so I'm not exactly sure which is the one that was at ssmf.
Someone has to start it!
To the dude who stole my GoPro filled with amazing footage from the ferris wheel watching everyone lose their minds at Zedds dead to the insane after party with Louis the Child, Fuck you. I was lying down with a girl I had met at the festival watching Louis the Child at the Grove Saturday night when i set the GOPro down next to me to spark up a joint. The dude came from somewhere behind me and asked for a rip of my J, and in return i could slap his bag of wine. I had been in a great mood because Zedd had just blown my mind and I was spending the rest of the night with this amazing girl, so instinctively i let dude rip my J only to look down after slapping his bag to find my go pro missing and dude no where to be found. It was a brand new gopro I had taken to Festival's before and in my opinion made some super dope video's to help me and my friends remember our experiences. You ruined my weekend, I hope someday something important is stolen from you when you are just being a nice person enjoying a festival with your friends.. I will not be returning to Summerset, I hope nothing was stolen from any of you... :(
To the mysterious guy who made his way through the crowd during Griz to give me the winter is coming bracelet, thank you. If you somehow see this, just know that you made my weekend. That bracelet is fucking awesome.
Just wondering what the most trippiest and funniest moment we're for you all at Summer Set 2017! For me, My gf and I were at Snails in the back near the production tent. Some guy on the right side dropped his pants, boxers, and started choking his chicken. A few minutes later he pulled them back up and went falling into the crowd.
Luckily some guy saved him and brought him to the medic.

I love the creativity that comes along with totems and flags, and I believe that they help improve the atmosphere of the festival. My favorite one from this weekend has to be the magic conch one. Don't know how they made it, but it was pretty fucking awesome.
Just wanted to recount my experience at Summer Set this year since it differed from a lot of the warnings I read on this sub.
This was my first year, and my friends and I did not camp (went home each night, we live in St. Paul). After reading up on the festival, we were worried that a. security would be tight and it would be hard to get stuff in and b. that the environment inside wouldn't be great.
In our experience, neither was true. We showed up a bit after the concert started and were in the security line for a couple minutes tops. The guards didn't even look in our backpacks, and their "pat down" consisted of briefly touching my left pocket. Literally the most lax security I've ever encountered at a festival or concert. Once we were in, I saw maybe 2 groups of cops and they were always on the perimeter. Never felt like they were trying to catch people, and didn't feel sketched out in the least.
Obviously I can't account for what the camps sites were like (maybe that's where everyone runs into issues), but I can say that the experience at the actual venue was great and the reports of the festival being "summer set-up" seem overblown.
Couldn't make it this year due to working everyday until 6:30, but I know I was really excited to see guys like Petit Biscuit and Kasbo for the first time.
I'm just curious: who was your favorite set that you had little/no expectations for, but were completely blown away?
