HEAR ME OUT. I’m definitely focused on the experience and music. My intentions are in the right place! But I’m a lesbian living in a small town and it’s very difficult to meet women. EF seems like a wonderful opportunity to connect. Is it too much to wear a lesbian pride pin/ apparel? I don’t want to make my sexuality apart of my personhood or personality but I would like to be identifiable to the right people! Is this normal at EF? Any tips?

I’m sure you all have seen Okeechobee’s genre lineup from 2023, so I decided to make one for forest based on the genres from this post (thank you to the OP of this post for the genre categorization!). Mine was inspired by the genre lineup created by Jackie Wilson for Bonnaroo 2024 so shoutout to Jackie (theirs is much better, I am not a graphic designer by any stretch!).

Some of the artists were a little tricky to place, so I know the genres are a bit off. This is not perfect, and I won't caveat every single artist/genre that isn't exactly right. This was just for fun!! Hope you all get some enjoyment out of it anyway. Happy forest!!

Hi hi!

I bought a camp higher love package and then I randomly got refunded for the whole thing. I was on the phone with AXS for an hour and a half and all she could tell me was that I didn’t buy the camping pass part of the package which was quite literally not possible. It wouldn’t let you purchase the package unless it included the camping and the GA wristband.

She told me to email HQ & I did.

I’ve heard there were some issues like this. Can anyone point me in a direction or if anyone had resolve?

I’m just beyond frustrated because I know my package was complete and I have the confirmation to show for it. :(

So I've gone to Forest last year and my boyfriend the year before and we've always been able to receive our wristbands and car passes by mail. Me and my group were all shocked and kind of upset to see it had been switched to international will call? I believe we also had to pay shipping fees so unsure what to do now. Have they completely stopped shipping to Canada? Will we still be able to get our car passes through the will call? And if anyone has any ideas about where will call will be it'd be appreciated. Kind of nervous to register the wristbands at the fest with terrible data.

From Northern California, been looking forward to Forest all year; my van starts overheating, so I was going with a rental, and then two girls I was planning to carpool with can’t make it. Anyone know how to coordinate possible carpooling? How to go about that, or knows anyone in a similar boat?

Based on last years map, where does the shuttle leaving forest going to the airport (DTW) pickup? I’m having someone take me there and bussing back to the airport Monday.

For context: I attended my first Electric Forest in 2022 and my first Bonnaroo last year so I have an idea for both on what to expect in regards to weather etc.

I already have my Bonnaroo ticket purchased and I have a friend who offered me an amazing opportunity to obtain a free ticket + camping through a volunteer program with one of the production teams working for Electric.

I would get home (Chicago) from Bonnaroo Monday the 17th and leave for Electric Wednesday the 19th. Planned to leave Electric Sunday evening and not stay for headliners.

Am I crazy for thinking I can pull this off? Attending Roo with my partner and super excited but Electric also brings its own unique magic Id be so sad to miss!

How exactly does this work?

We will all meet up on Wednesday morning at the Meijer parking lot in Muskegon and drive in together. No Group Camp pass is needed. If for some reason you can't make it to the Wednesday morning meet-up, we can't really make any more space in camp, but everyone is welcome to come hang out regardless if you are camping with us or not! Keep an eye out for the additional reddit group camps if this is the case.

How do I sign up?

Use this invite to be added to the Discord! From there, use the camp reddit request channel to be added to our specific Wednesday GA early arrival group. We'll use this channel to chat and share additional information as the time gets closer.

Where in GA will camp be?

Good question. We won’t know until we get there. I'll post the location here once we get in and set up so people who want to visit can find us. We’ll also have a flag of some sort that I’ll post a picture of ahead of time.

Carpooling

Reach out to your fellow campmates in the discord if needed! This year they have changed the requirement so all you need is a car pass to be granted in if you're coming solo. Our Wednesday Early Arrival pass meets this requirement.

Morning fam! My friend and I are getting into Michigan the day before heading into the festival, and we want to camp near some dunes in the area.

Hey guys, I’ll be camping at higher love this year for my first forest and I wanted to ask a couple questions on the shower situation since I can’t find the info on the website or have heard conflicting things:

1. Are the showers 24/7?
2. How are the lines in higher love?
3. Since higher love is a smaller camp, are the showers far to walk to?

So me and my girlfriend of 4 years are on a break and we are “complicated” we have been kinda doing no contact and only texting when it comes to the dog and bills. We have been talking about Electric Forest today since it’s almost a month away. Before this break in our group was me and her and her two other friends and I asked about the sleeping situation we are in GA camping and she told me her and her two friends are sharing a tent and I’ll be sleeping in my own. I’m not sure what to do I feel like I’m going to be left out and things will be awkward starting from the drive there when we would be driving together and her two friends will drive together When talking to my her about it she’s been kinda dry when it comes to her responses and I don’t know what to do if I should go or don’t go.

Hi friends! Me and my friends are going to our first ever Electric Forest this year! We got Good life tent only camping passes, we were wondering how big the spaces are? Also- We have 2 different parking passes because we’ll be in 2 separate cars and showing up together, would we get 2 spaces and be able to combine them or would we only be given one since we’re all together?

Ok one of the things I love most about raves is plur and gift giving culture and I loved the idea of putting together little goodie bags to give out to people/ putting under the giving tree. My idea is the following: band aids, spf lip balm, liquid iv packets, stickers, gum, and these little wooden fairies that I made (they’re so cute I’m obsessed I hope everyone else likes them as much as I do). My question is do you guys think this is a good list? Anything I might be missing as a festival necessity? Most of the stuff I found in bulk for cheap so that part was easy and I just love the idea of putting them all together it seems so cute to me🫶

I’m thinking of bringing my rooftop tent. Is this a good idea or if not, why would it not be a good idea

Hi! This is my first forest and this might sound like a dumb question but will I need sunscreen to apply throughout the day? I’m not sure if the trees/ forest itself will do a good job of blocking the sun rays so do people normally put on sunscreen for this festival? I’m pretty fair skinned and burn kinda easily so I’m thinking I might need it but I’m not totally sure. Thanks friends!!! 🧚‍♀️
