Obviously, we need a WR1, linemen everywhere except where Onwenu is, a pass rusher, and now a safety. But I think we also need someone in the middle with Bentley. Who are the top MLBs in next year’s draft and free agency? It doesn’t look like a strong year for them. Are there any realistic trade targets?
On Sunday the Patriots will play the Bears and I'm excited. The story line is great: the first and third picks dueling for dominance (I'm overstating this; the Bears are almost certain to win the game). But beyond the media narrative, I'm excited because the Bears offer a vision of what the Patriots could be next year. They have a young, talented quarterback and they've supported him. They've given him good receivers and a offensive line that is stable. They have a defense that can win games for them. There's nothing there that the Patriots can't gave next year. That's, of course, easy for me to say. I've got no experience as a GM and so don't know how difficult it is to bring in talent. But the Patriots will have high draft picks, they have plenty of money and it seems like the only thing they're going to need is some will power. The front office deserves a pass this year, one cannot judge a GM on one draft class. But they have all the resources for next year and I hope they take it.
What do others think about the Patriots being .500 next year? I think it's totally possible.
Drake Maye has a strong, masculine face with solid proportions that align with the Golden Ratio, which is key to his overall attractiveness. His facial symmetry is excellent, with well-balanced features that create a harmonious look. The jawline is chiseled and square, giving him a strong, confident appearance that is often associated with leadership.
His cheekbones are moderately pronounced, adding structure without making his face appear too harsh. The eyes are deep-set with a confident, engaging gaze, and their slight distance adds to his symmetry. While his eyes aren't strikingly unique, they fit perfectly with the rest of his features, giving him a balanced, natural appeal.
Drake's nose is straight and proportional, complementing his well-defined lips. His smile is warm, with a subtle Cupid’s bow, enhancing his approachability. His skin is clear and youthful, and his grooming is clean and effortless, which elevates his overall attractiveness.
In summary, Drake Maye embodies the "All-American" look—athletic, confident, and approachable—with facial features that are naturally balanced and appealing. His facial structure projects both strength and charm, making him a standout in terms of facial aesthetics. Combined with his celebrity status as a star NFL quarterback, he has the maximum SMV of 10/10.
I’m still happy with my purchase, although I slightly wish I got Maye instead. I mostly feel bad for the people I told to buy a Brissett jersey because Maye wouldn’t start this year.
Just less than a month ago my sister in law had ordered a couple Maye jerseys for her two kids but I hastily told her to return them for Brissett.
On top of that, I had already bought my step son a Brissett jersey for Christmas. Anytime Maye has been on the field I keep talking him down and hyping up Brissett’s return because I don’t want my son to be disappointed when he opens his Christmas gift.
Pray for a Jaguars fan.
I feel like the Bengals will be just fine without Tee Higgins. The fact that their offense has been putting up a lot of points without him shows you they’ll be fine. They have Chase, and Iosivas has shown the potential to be a good WR 2 across from Chase.
Also they’ll have Burton and Erik All in year 2 with a bit more experience and if they really need to they could maybe go get Diggs or Cooper on a cheaper short term deal.
For us, go all in and go get Tee Higgins. And not only just get Tee Higgins, let’s also draft Tetairoa McMillian! Give Drake Maye a chance with two solid, more proven WRs. I don’t care if we already used a high pick on Polk. He could still turn it around and be a good 3rd WR to Higgins and McMillian.
Drake out there, looks left and he’ll see a 6’4 Tee Higgins, looks right and he’ll see 6’5 monster in Tet McMillian. In the slot he’ll see a super shifty and quick Pop Douglas as well as Hunter Henry and Rhamondre on the field.
Sign Garrett Boles (LT) and Trey Smith (LG) to protect Drakes blind side, get a full offseason of Strange at C with draft, move and keep Onwenu back to his natural position at RG.
Have a healthy Barmore and Bentley coming back, the defense starts playing better and this whole team is cooking!
Already getting optimistic about next season!
My boy referred me to Kayshons madden league about a week or 2 ago shit seems cool Played one of the mods in the server and after he lost possession in the 4th he dash boarded. When I asked about it the MF kicks me from the league and the server
Can’t even contact anyone about this horseshit smh If u see that they recruiting or in the server unless u feel like getting fucked by some hoe ass Mods I wouldn’t do it
I have watching the Bengals/Ravens game and seeing some truly great QB play from both teams. It got me to wondering what Drake Maye will look like in five years.
He's got the pocket presence of Burrow. This whole night Kirk Herbstreet has been gushing about Burrow "climbing the pocket," which I already see Maye doing. Furthermore, like Burrow he can wriggle out of the grasp of a defender to avoid a sack.
And he has some of the athleticism of Jackson. Maye will never run for as many yards as Jackson has, but he can still run. He's definitely proven that.
Given this combination of skill sets, where do you see Maye in five years. Pro-Bowler? All-pro? Celebrated savior of the New England Patriots?
I see him as a pernial pro-bowler, who has elite pocket presence and the ability to lead a team to victory on any given day, against any given team, consistently. I don't see him on Mahomes' level but only an inch down, along the lines of a Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson.
What do you all think?
Anyone know when the dates come out? Are they likely going to be on a Sunday after Christmas? Sorry I’m clueless, I don’t watch football.
Not for nothing, but this was the absolute most fun I’ve had watching the Pats lose. 50-yard line, third tier seating. Plenty of Pats fans in with the Titans faithful. That 2 minute drill was electric. Maye’s the guy, and we’re gonna have some fun if the front office guys ahem burn some cash.
It's okay for the team and players to have fun and post silly activities on the team accounts. It's okay for the team to ask fans what uniform they should wear Sunday (actually, super cool that they did this).
No, the team is not 2-7 because the players took 10 seconds out of their day to tell us who has the best beard on the team. They're not 2-7 because they spent 15 seconds shooting a mini basketball after practice. Even Christian Gonzalez taking 5 minutes to answer some fan questions on Instagram didn't hurt the team. They're definitely not 2-7 because the social media manager posted this Sunday's uniform combo (believe it or not, the social media and equipment managers don't have to practice or study film).
Any comments like "we should worry more about winning than uniforms" or "this fooling around is why we're 2-7" don't hold any weight.
There seems to be some confusion on this topic so I thought I'd clear things up.
