Incorrect date on a movie

I just found it curious they have the release date as 2011 when this particular Clue movie was released in 1985 lol (this thread can also be served as a Tim Curry appreciation thread. I adore him!)

Prime and subscriptions

I went ahead and subscribed to a couple subscriptions with the Black Friday deals.

One of them was Cinamax. But when I looked today under "Movies" there were like 12 to 15 total movies. If I go to Cinamax online and look at their offering I see like almost 200 movies.

Is there anyway to see all the movies under the subscriptions that I paid for that shows all the movies and shows the channel offers, or is this a slimmed down version?

Film released but not found?

Good morning, I want to watch a film that is supposed to be available today on Prime Video but it cannot be found using the search function. This isn't the first time this has happened to me. Do you know why?

Trying to watch Spectre (video currently unavailable)

What the hell Amazon? I binged the first 3 with Daniel Craig this week end, and wanted to watch the 4th as well, and I can't play the video.

Issue with "included with prime," any fix?

Went from every ~3 / 5 rows being included with prime to every ~1 / 8 within a few days. Any fix available? Have never paid for shows/movies.

Just watched I Don't Like Mondays about the first school shooter

I had never heard the story before. I don't like that this tragedy occurred obviously. From a psychological perspective, I found the movie really interesting. I thought it was a well-done documentary. I wish they would have interviewed the other siblings to get their perspective. I like environmental psychology where it looks at a situation from the perspective of several family members.

Who else has watched it? Can anyone recommend movies that address family environments and crime? Most crime shows just focus on the psychology of the perpetrator and not the environment that contributed to their psychopathy.

Reasonable Doubt

This I a great movie. And per usual Samuel L Jackson is amazing. It’s thrilling dramatic and suspenseful and I think a great movie. Free on Amazon prime. And not too many commercials. I recommend checking it out.

Why are there interlace artifacts on so much of the SD content?

You'd think a billion dollar corporation could figure out how to properly encode NTSC video sources from interlaced to progressive without making such a rookie encoding mistake. There are scripts and algorithms that can be deployed to remove duplicate frames and combing when it's detected in the source, so then why doesn't Amazon Prime use these methods? I've canceled countless video rentals and refunded them with my reason being "technical issue with the video". See my screenshot here for a recent example of what I mean.

Auto play on Apple TV?

My little brother is watching some series on Prime Video on this Apple TV Box, but we couldn’t find the autoplay option, and it's annoying to select the next episode every time separately. On the Internet we also couldn‘t find something for the Apple TV, only for desktop and mobile. Is there an option for autoplay on Prime Video on Apple TV?

Aspect Ratio Issue on Prometheus and Solo: A Star Wars Story

Has anyone else had an issue with aspect ratio on Prime Video? The problem I am experiencing is when played, the image appears distorted, as if it has been stretched or cropped, rather than displaying in the correct aspect ratio. I confirmed this by playing the movies side-by-side in Google Play and the difference is noticeable. This issue persists across all devices I have tested and is exclusive to these two titles, as other movies and shows on Amazon Prime Video appear correctly.

Too many commercials

There are too many commercials on Prime. All providers have lied to us. They say pay this and there will be no commercials, but we can see everywhere that it’s a lie. They are ruining prime with commercials.

No 4k/UHD on PC? Seriously?

Why on earth would Amazon think Prime for windows wouldn't need 4k video? I bought and downloaded Dune, just to realize I can only get it in HD on my 4k monitor & RTX 4070... HD? It is almost 2025 and I can't watch a video I have DOWNLOADED in 4k on my PC because, why, exactly?

Where to find recordings?

I recorded the prime football, when I went to it live from the banner it told me recording was enabled. I was able to go into it live and then find a menu where I could go back to the beginning and watch it .

I watched for a while and then paused and went did things for some time, when I came back the game was not paused and it was just the prime wallpaper. It also said that the game had ended .

I now cannot find anywhere where this recording is. I went to my watchlist, TV, and there was nothing there .

I have watched several game videos this year, every single one of them said recording was enabled, but I then watched it from the beginning while it was playing but at least one or two hours had already transpired. I was able to go to the end.

Now I can't find it anywhere and I don't know what to do. Hopefully it's somewhere else.

Is this search function a joke?

So I was looking for Dexter series, Prime search function returned everything but Dexter. But then also suggested similar series, including Dexter. Do you have the same experience while searching for anything?

The Sticky Review

Hello, everyone! I had the chance to watch The Sticky, the Margo Martindale-led series premiering on December 6 on Prime Video. It’s a compact, quirky take on Fargo-style crime, delivering solid entertainment across six brisk episodes.

Prime Video (canada) not showing episodes glitch?

I was literally just watching "Supernatural" before I went to work and when I had gotten back home to put it on again (I use Ps5) I noticed that no episodes are showing up for season 4 and some other seasons. Also noticed theres empty duplicates for season 2 and season 1. I looked it up thinking they had removed it from prime and they haven't, although when I search up season 4 online and click the link, the episodes still wont show up. Can someone help?

Why are korean subs not available for kdramas?

It should be available as a default… I’ve noticed it’s the same situation with Hulu as well. Maybe even hbo max? Only Netflix offers it
