There should be no condition to love. <3<3
I recently got the cbs app and it asked me to put in a tv provider so I chose Hulu. Hulu is my parents subscription and now I’m worried that cbs will charge my parents account now that I’ve logged into Hulu on cbs app. I’ve looked online to see if it cost money to log into a provider but no luck. If anyone has answers please let me know thanks.
I just found out that one of my favourite TV shows has been cancelled.😮 Does anyone else watch ‘So Help Me Todd”? Such a funny quirky show with 6,3 Million viewers and I love Marcia Gay Harden. Will be sad to see it go.😥
After a programming error cut off the final two minutes of Billy Joel’s televised concert at Madison Square Garden, CBS announced it would re-air the show.
So my question is simple. If I already have CBS channel thru my directv, what would Paramount + give me that I don’t already have with CBS?
You screwed the pooch. You now have your own Heidi Bowl moment that will be remembered for decades.
So fix it in an epic way. Admit you screwed up and then make it right. You’ll get a lot of people to try the Paramount app, and you’ll generate an enormous amount of positive buzz and goodwill.
We all goof up from time to time. Be human, admit your mistake, and make it up to the viewers you do have and the ones you wish you had.
Either way, it’s going to be a legendary moment for you.
CBS has been promoting the Billy Joel 100th Madison Square Garden concert for weeks. This thing had been constantly hyped as a crown jewel Sunday night event. Broadcast started late because the Master’s Tournament being aired concluded late. No biggie, golf’s a big deal for a lot of viewers.
So the Billy Joel concert is awesome. Billy and the band are absolutely killing it, audience is really into it, the house is rockin’. Show is building to its finale. Billy is offering up a heartfelt rendition of Piano Man, the audience is transported with love for the music and the memories singing along at the top of their lungs, on their feet, swaying and dancing to a very special moment.
With one more chorus to go, and possibly an encore song, at the stroke of 11:30 EDT, CBS pulls the plug and hands off to local affiliates.
This is the biggest bonehead move since NBC cutoff an NFL championship game in 1968 so the broadcast of the movie “Heidi” could start on time.
Almost 9:15 and it was supposed to start at 9. Is he to big a star to show up on time?
This is long, I am frustrated and have been dealing with “support” groups from both companies.
The summary here is
I spent thousands of dollars on a 4k smart tv with apps and web access.
I have had the tv for seven years
Yesterday I signed up for Paramount+Showtime.
Today I found out that the app created is not supported by Samsung tv older than six years.
Paramount said -that Samsung doesn’t update software to be compatible. So there is no way to use it on the tv.
-I can go spend more money on some external device and connect it to the tv to download outside apps. -I can go buy a brand new tv.

A tv should be expected to last more than 5 years and Samsung knows that electronics evolve quickly and should make allowances to provide services. Not tell people to just buy another brand new tv from them. Paramount should know that they may have customers that can’t afford to throw TVs away and replace them constantly so if they want to have more customers they should have apps that have a wider range of compatibility.
All of this boils down to money. My spending it and rich companies doing whatever they can to make more.
I am disappointed in the response from both companies. I know that is meaningless to both because the end result is the same, it’s my problem and the only option I have is to decide if I want to resolve it, should I just cancel streaming service or choose to spend $100’s or $1,000’s.
Thanks for listening -I am so mad, buying expensive things just to throw them in the garbage makes me crazy. Electronics evolve quickly, there should be a better solution than throwing out a television and buying new ones constantly. It just seems so wasteful and unnecessary. I will be posting this on Samsungs page as well.
So tonight we're asked to believe that a man was conned into putting his fingerprints on an adjustable wrench before it was used by someone else to loosen bolts to kill someone. And somehow the fingerprints didn't get wiped off during the deed? Nope, sorry.
I don't watch a lot of main stream news but would like to catch a segment this woman did on the town of Makanda for the coming Eclipse. Does anyone know who she is and where I might catch something she's filmed recently? Thanks!
I was very impressed with Sheryl’s sincere apology yesterday and for her compliment to Jerry. I am housebound so I watch a lot of tv. No other talk show hosts apologized as genuinely as the Talk. Is there an active sub for The Talk? I’m new here. Thanks 🙏
FFS fix your audio problems during the games!
I don't know if this has ever been talked about or not, but I just adore Steve Hartman stories on CBS. Every story he does is just amazing and makes me shed a tear almost every time. What a great reporter and human.

Some good news for CBS investors finally.
So, in 2019, CBS and Viacom merged, but not without problems. It was claimed that Shari Redstone used her controlling stake to get an unfair deal.
They received a lawsuit from investors due to this situation and recently closed it, but CBS officials refused to comment on it after it ended.
However, they decided to pay quite big 167.5M settlement, so if you were damaged somehow you can file for it here or through the settlement administrator. Hope it'll help!

last several days I tuned in as usual at 8am ET only to find it somewhere in the middle. typically, a streaming-only confusingly named program called CBS News Mornings anchored by Anne Marie Green would air before and then around 8am she'd hand it off to Nate Burleson or Tony Dokoupil.
the first 15-20 mins of CBS Mornings is just what I want: the Eye Opener ("your world in 90 seconds!") and some in depth reporting of a handful of the day's top headlines.
why do they make it so hard to watch this program except live? the Eye Opener is the best. even the dumpster fire Paramount Plus doesn't have full episodes available.
Hello all! Really enjoying the show Tracker - does anyone know the model of Airstream he uses?
