My memories of attending Rangers games are all from the Ballpark at Arlington. Most of those memories are of the hottest I’ve ever been, nearly having a heat stroke at one game. When I watch the new stadium on TV I feel it looks more comfortable for fans if a bit uninteresting.
So what is the consensus after 4.5 seasons, a World Series title, and hundreds of thousands of fans in and out? More comfortable? How and why? Better concessions? How’s the access, parking, etc? How does all this compare to the old stadium? Any little new details standout?
Lastly what is your very favorite thing about the new stadium?
I recently got into baseball, and watched my rangers when the world series (I know I'm a little late) and I'd like to know how good they were compared to other teams another seasons. Right now I'm watching the 2024 world series and I would also like a comparison between the 2023 rangers and these two outstanding teams. Thanks a ton!
I'm in my mid-30s from the north-east Texas area. I'm starting to get into baseball (slowly) and had a grandfather that was a Ranger's fan. So, I'm leaning into the Rangers some. Any thing to know as I start my journey as a Ranger's fan?
I recently picked this hat up at my local Goodwill but I cannot find out whose autograph this is. The “61” under the name signed is the jersey number I’m assuming. But there’s no names that have the same initials of R.P.P. who also have this jersey number for this team that I’ve found. Do any of you know whose autograph this might be?
Curiosity has gotten the best of me, and I've been searching for an archive or list of the programs sold during the home stands. Unfortunately, Google has not really been any help. I have a bin full of 90s programs, and my wife has mentioned getting rid of them. I've been putting that off for as long as I can, and that's what has made me think of looking for an archive/list. Does anyone know of a site that has kept up with those? Thanks!
Last offseason, The Diamondbacks signed Jordan Montgomery to a one year deal with a player option. Rangers Ownership stated that there was no way to match the offer. It was simply too expensive.
Well…this season Jordan Montgomery’s player stock absolutely crashed. A really bad year from him. If you’ve been following the news, Dbacks ownership even stated it was a shitty signing.
I don’t see any reason why Jordan Montgomery would stay with an owner that’s called him out specifically (unless if he wants to troll and take the player option for more money). Could this be a Chris Young Mastermind Psyop to where we reunite with Monty on a cheap deal?
Marcus Siemien and Nathaniel Lowe are GG finalists
Hey y'all!
I'm working on a project and need some words or short phrases unique to the Rangers. Looking for things like "Went and Took It", "Peagle", "Higher" etc. Or maybe even something iconic that the broadcasters say/used to say or things that players have said in the past that have turned into something cool through the history of the team. Doesn't need to be modern, kind of going for the nostalgic factor here.
Although they would be fun to see, I'm not really interested in negative words/phrases.
TIA!
I have this max scherzer card that I really wanna get signed he’s been my favorite player since I was 7. Do I mail it to globe life or his fan mail address?
Yeah I know this season sucked but I still love baseball and can’t NOT watch the postseason. Watching the Astros get cooked by Detroit was pretty great. That being said, I’m really enjoying watching the Padres, they’re the team I want to win it all this year (plus they have Yu + Profar). The only team I really like on the AL side is the Royals.
Who ya got?
Evan was on Mike’s podcast, “Your Dark Companion.” I am not a member of Patreon and I don’t want to join. But I will if this is a good podcast. Has anyone listened to it? Is it a good episode? I have always loved Rhyner’s perspective on the Rangers. And no one is more knowledgeable about the Rangers than Evan Grant. TIA.
