I need to know if anyone can recommend a shop / business that will run a tabletop measuring 38" x 82" x 1" through a planer. The tabletop has a hand scraped finish that we would like to remove and leave a smooth and flat surface.
Hi there Y'all,
I was wanting to know if anyone knows of any good medical supply stores that have things like back braces. I'm also looking for a good clinic/doctor that specializes in the spine region. Hoping to get some leads to find the right one for me.
Just wanted to share my experience renewing my license today as it was flawless.
My ID expires in February and I’ve seen the posts about people not able to get appointments until next year, so I hopped on the website yesterday to see if there was anything before it expires. I was thrilled to see the Plano drivers license office had appointments today throughout the day. I chose 2:30 (best time to go to the dentist) and took my current ID, passport, and social security card with me. (Didn’t need my social card at all) I filled out the form there and was in and out in 10 minutes.
I’ve seen someone say they open up new appointments at 4pm and I coincidentally was looking yesterday around 4:30. I did see several locations with the earliest appointments well into 2025 but the Plano driver license office off of Ohio dr had appointments all day today, and through out the week. The next soonest I saw was the garland office and it was 12/18.
They’re having one tonight. Was debating about going but think I’ll skip. $25 for no guarantee of anything isn’t wise to me. Could’ve sworn they used to be cheaper too.
Went to a few earlier in the year. Seemed like the classic stereotypical douchy career oriented Dallas men and the classic stereotypical snoody shallow Dallas women were the primary demographics every time I went so didn’t feel a connection to anyone. Was curious if any others had a different experience or more luck
Was playing Keeton this past weekend and found a really nice wedge on the ground. I was going to give it back but I started playing so good with it I just had to keep it.
And not return it…I hope you lose all of your clubs lol
Just wanted to give a shout out to u/tturedditor for his drive and work in bringing people out to help clean up a section of the White Rock Creek near Forest Ln by Mattito's. Being able to meet local people and helping clean the community was a great activity on a beautiful fall day.
With a crew of 7 people, we got a fair amount of trash (5 large bags and 3 medium sized ones) that included cardboard, Starbucks cups, Styrofoam packaging, articles of clothing, and random pieces of plastic.
It is important to take care of community and the area that we occupy. We only were able to get make a dent in the amount of trash but it is a start.
I believe that he wants to do more events in the future and I will definitely help out when I can!
Last night my fiancé was driving home from work and sometime between 7:15-7:30 pm someone in a blue Honda (possibly a Fit) swerved into him on 75 northbound (about a mile south of the 635 exit), causing him to swerve out of the way and 2 other cars got into an accident as a result. The blue car that swerved into his took off from the scene and did not pull over. My question is if any of you have dash cam footage of the accident so we can identify the individual that caused it. Thank you in advance!!
Looking for Georgian markets or restaurants in DFW area. Anything besides Bubala or CCCP market? (Country not the state) thanks!
Anyone know of any local orgs near the Plano area that can use a dryer? Many of the local orgs I’ve seen do not take appliance donations. It’s basically new - it’s an electric dryer that didn’t fit the gas hook ups when we moved in. Facebook was no help unfortunately. Thanks!

I wanted to highlight a favorite location of mine in town from somebody who takes (in my opinion) the best photos of the city
Did not expect to see a flock of these here.
Can you please give me recommendations for psychiatrists in the Dallas area who specialize or work well with adult ADHD/Austism patients? Preferably in or near Dallas proper. Thanks!
Just moved to Dallas recently and am looking for a Texas and/or Dallas-themed ornament to commemorate the occasion. Are there any local shops that sell these? Would rather look in person than online.
