How is it possible that there are over 200 houses north of $3m in this one strip of Dallas? Some of these are $20m!? This seems incongruous with the rest of Dallas?

I went to North Park and Highland village today and saw some of the prettiest blonde girls with guys and I’m sitting here like HOW……. I’m 6 foot and also blonde. Just five minutes ago I walked down the stairs off Katy trail, and as I was about to cross the street a loud bang and bright light went off at what seemed to be right across the street. I was super fortunate to have headphones in because it was quite loud already.

Wtf was that? Does anyone know? I live around here and hear a loud boom go off sometimes already, is there something electrical causing that?

Was rear-ended on the Willard Rodgers. Police arrived and I told them it was a rear-end. Other driver spoke to them.

My insurer says the police report states that I was merging into the lane where the other driver was and I hit him. Not true.

Apparently police wrote what the other driver said and not what I said.

Anyone experienced asking Dallas police to amend their report.

Or suggestions on how to prove it. I think the location of the damage on my car being in the trunk instead of on the side proves it.

I love cold cuts sliced very thin. I am from New York and that is what I am used to. It’s a very strong preference of mine, so much so that I’d rather not eat certain cold cuts if they’re not sliced thin enough (ex. Roast beef or white American cheese)

Since I’ve moved to the uptown Dallas area, I’ve had a hard time getting deli counters to slice cold cuts thin enough. The thinnest tends to be “sandwich slice 1” level. Anyone know of any butchers or grocery stores that are willing to cut thinner than that?

Hello! My spouse is doing flag detail tomorrow for AT&T stadium. This will be my first time going to a football game here and I have a standing room only ticket I bought. Based off of videos I’ve seen it’ll be a busy time.
