Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on his message to Cowboys fans that aren't excited about how the season has started: "Look for the positives. Look for us to be improving. ... I'm interested in building toward the crescendo of getting in the playoffs, and then being a much better team than we are today when we get to the playoffs. I think that's what you're seeing.
"If someone had come to you before the season started and said, 'Would you rather us struggle a little bit during the season, or knock it out of the park during the season and lose early in the playoffs?' There's no question everybody would say: 'Man, have a little less season and a little more playoffs.'"
Looks like Flournoy will suit up this weekend, which I am excited to see. Surprised Cook hasn't been elevated to the roster yet given our early season rush struggles. Anyone have any info or insight on these 2?
*edit - spelling
How can we win this game? We can't run, I doubt we can pass block long enough to make plays. Someone please tell me a path to victory.
Really appreciated it this year, but the awesomeness is too much to handle at times. So much success due to your genius, it's just not fair to the rest of the league.
So please, next year, maybe just go "partially in" so other teams have a chance too.
I would like to see a QB taken in the first round within the next two years. Let him sit behind Dak a year or two then let the new era begin.
I know we are 2-2, but still a little frustrated with the team this year. Seems like if we made the Ceedee and Dak contracts 4 months ago we would’ve had 20+ million in free cap to use on free agent D line or RB. Now I feel like we are in a no man’s land with great players but no supporting cast for the ultimate goal which is a superbowl.
Falcons had 12 seconds left and threw the ball 17 yards. The refs got the ball set within 5 seconds of the play ending. The clock was at 7 seconds when the whistle blew. Refs had it set with 2 seconds, and the ball was snapped and spiked with 1 second left.
Dak ran the ball in the same situation with 14 seconds left. The whistle blew at 9 seconds, yet the refs couldn't get the ball set. Complete and utter bullshit.
12 seconds on the clock and the falcons go over the middle. No way they get the spike off, right? Nope they do. The ref runs up and touches the ball and gets out of the way immediately instead of completely picking up the ball, moving it all of three inches, getting in the way, and allowing time to expire. Thus allowing them to get the spike off. Must be nice…
I’ve been trying to get a clear answer on what is included with tickets for the Founder’s club. Anyone have info? I know it includes food/drink and also some sort of field level access. There’s a home/visitor side but not sure if access differs. Please enlighten me!
I've been a die-hard fan my whole life. This year, I've stopped being oblivious. When the season started, I told people we would be lucky to make the playoffs, and I got called not a real fan. LOL, I'm just being real. We don't make any big moves, don't have a run game, and our longest run of the season is by Lamb for 12 yards, which is ridiculous. We only have one WR, and the defense has been awful. We're last in rush yards per game, 27th in points given up a game, and 25th in yards given up per game. At this point, it doesn't look good for Sunday with a lot of defensive starters out, and then we gotta pray Steele can attempt to block Watt. LOL, we will never win until Jerry is gone. What's your take on the rest of the season? Do you think we will win at least 8 games? I have no faith in this roster the way it's performed.
My father has been a cowboys fan for well before I was born but I cannot get out of him what his favourite player was. He just says"each era kinda had its own greats".
He is retiring soon after 40 years and want to get him jersey.
Suggestions on any great players I should pick?
The dude showed up a bit in preseason, and I get that the preseason and regular season are two totally different beasts, but is he really that bad that he can't get a shot to play the first four weeks? Or that he can't beat out the Jalen's and Turpin on the depth chart? I see shades of Deebo in the guy. I would love to see him on some bubble, middle, or slot screens. Maybe even some end arounds or working out of the back field. I don't claim to be a great evaluator of talent, but the dude seems like he has something. What are your guys thoughts.
Hello there! I come in peace hehe
My wife and I just got standing room tickets for the Detroit Lions Vs Cowboys game in Arlington.
Can you help me out with the following: What's a good time for us to arrive so we can start making a line and secure a good view? I understand it's always packed and busy.
Thank you guys, looking forward to this match 🤙🏼
