Chris Getz despite being the incumbent WS farm director and being hired due to his depth of knowledge of the Sox demurred when asked when the Sox will compete again. His “Hahn-ish” word salad response embraces the “Jerry speak” strategy of using lots of words to say nothing and commit to nothing. We are doomed till a “death” do us part.
Anyone able to say if you buy a 500-level ticket you can get down to the field level? Or are there checkers around?
And Jonathan Cannon throws 8.2 of scoreless ball. Good night for the organization!

Must have figured they could half-ass it after dumping Liam Hendriks
Right now this team sits at 19-54 with a winning % of .260. So at this point we are on pace for just over 42 wins (ill say 43 to be generous) and a record of 43-119.
Technically the worst record in MLB history belongs to the 1899 Cleveland Spiders at 20-134 (.130). However, the modern standard for the worst MLB team of all time is generally considered to be the expansion 1962 Mets at 40-120 (.250). Most of the other worst teams of all time you will get in a list from Google are in the dead ball era (though the 2003 Detroit Tigers gave the Mets a run for their money with a record of 43-119).
I'm gona go out on a limb here and say our Sox will probably win at least two more games to avoid the Spiders lol. However the 62 Mets and 03 Tigers disasterclass is fully in reach. What do you guys think? Can this team make history? If I set the Over/Under at 45.5 wins which direction are you choosing?
Hi all, I haven't been to a game this year, but was curious if the hot honey chicken fries were still available in section 110. I know in years past it has been a Buffalo Chicken version and a Mild Sauce version. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
What's up sox fans
Canadian here, and I'm trying to get into baseball. My father used to be a big Sox fan when he used to live in the city in 2003-04. I'll be in Chicago next week for three days, and I'll be going to my first-ever baseball game. I'll be in the city on the 24th, 25th, and 26th when they play against the Dodgers, and I really don't know which of the three games to go to. Are there any differences experience-wise between the three dates? If not, do you know which of the three games will be the most crowded?
Thanks

Remember to sort by new to keep up!
How does he not even show up?

me personally, i think we should build around them but i feel like we could get a lot of good prospects in return for them, not to mention how injury-prone robert can be. but i haven’t been keeping up with the team too much so wanted to know some of your opinions on this.
Can somebody who has bought at the box office tell me ~ does it avoid the extra ticket fees if you buy at box office i know there would still be the city tax but it looks like its about 8-9 $ in ticketmaster fees to buy online...
I said it before, I think the Phillies are gonna try for Luis Robert.
This is not a drill. Congrats to him on making it back from multiple and back to back massively sidelining injuries. He threw a rehab assignment for the ACL Sox tonight and went 1 scoreless with 2 strikeouts.
Foster is recovering from Tommy John and then a 2nd arm injury (believe it was a right flexor strain)
Sox would have to go 4-4 over the next 8 to catch up with the ‘62 Mets through 81 games. Go time.
My mom is insisting to go to the game on Wednesday, but she’s getting up there and I don’t want her to sit in the sun. From 1:10 to 4 o’clock, is there a safe area in the park to keep her out of the sun, and was thinking lower deck top five rows on the first base side, would anything be better? Should I just cancel?
Thak y’all kindly!
I wish I had that hat right now....and I can't believe the doctor gave me a powder blue cast, smh...
I get people want to hold onto him, but part of me thinks he might have longevity issues going forward due to his injury history. If he was fresh, I wouldn't post this but I kind of see a devil's advocate idea of why he'd be shopped around.
