Revisiting the last game 😓
I was at the last home game in September, and I just was looking back at my photos. That team meant to much to me and my family man. It just hit me that they’re really gone just like that. Was one of the saddest days of my life and one of the greatest too. Such a sad ending for such a historic team. :(

Player on your team this year with a receding hairline?
There is a hitter (I believe) on your team this year with a receding hairline, but some sickass hair. The dude looked like a 1970's badass.
I'm a twins fan so I only saw him when he was playing against the twins. I need to find out who it is so I can show my barber the look I want. I also have a bum ass hairline, but he was rockin the look so well that I started growing my hair back out.

FishFace took the A’s out of Oakland, but the “Athletics” will live on.
Cant say the same for the Gap. It’s a zombie company dying a slow death. Sales peaked over 15 years ago and continue a slow decline. Gap will go the way of Sears, Kmart, and many other retailers. Once Gap is gone, so will the Fisher Family legacy. They will be forgotten. FishFace is possibly young enough to see it.

One Last Game - Reggie, Rickey, Stew and friends....
Reggie Jackson came up with this idea and has invited his oldtimer friends. It's being operated by a small company in LA and the remainder of the Coliseum staff. Nothing to do with the team.
I found out about it when I saw this post two weeks ago on Instagram because I follow Oakland Roots.
There has been no promotion and Reggie who is 78 years old I think doesn't know a whole lot about digital advertising.
I called a few folks to get him on radio yesterday and tv this morning but that's it.
It should be pretty intimate and pretty low-key cool to see a bunch of Legends. Please come by and please please spread the word however you can.

How stacked could the A's have been if our owner decided to do his job? What would our lineup and rotation look like if we actually tried to build a winning franchise?
Currently watching the World Series and shaking my head at how stacked both the Yankees and Dodgers' lineups are. If we didn't let past stars go or trade them, how stacked could our team have been in a perfect world? Who would have resigned? Would any free agents in any year have been likely to join the A's if we were contenders?
