I am watching the Stars game on Victory+ on a Mac computer and the play, rewind 10 seconds, fast forward 10 seconds are constantly in the background. It's not the biggest deal...just kind of annoying. Does anyone have a fix for this? I have tried on Chrome and Safari. Picture in Comments
It seems like even on the day of or day after a Stars game, they don't get mentioned on every ticker. Whereas they seem to find something to say about the Mavs in every ticker even if they didn't play the night before or have a game that day.
Is it just me?
I was really looking forward to getting a Heiskanen jersey for 4 Nations, but it looks like that’s not happening. Even with Miro being scratched from the Finnish team I was hoping maybe they had still made some since the decision was made so recently, but it looks like none of the Stars made the cut to get a jersey anyway lol. I could get one of the custom ones but I’m not really keen on spending $500 for it.
I saw Hangar Hockey is selling youth Finland jerseys with Heiskanen’s name, but there’s no way I’m fitting any youth sizes😂
I’ve only been a hockey fan for a few years and I only have one jersey at the moment so I’m not super knowledgeable on how this all works, is it possible there will be cheaper customizable options later, or is this it? Or any chance Hangar Hockey will eventually sell something I could at least customize to have Heiskanen’s name and number on it that might be a little less expensive? If anyone knows any other ways I might be able to get a 4 Nations jersey with Miro’s name it would be much appreciated🙂
Hey Friends - I am looking to get a Finland or USA jersey for the four nations tournament. Want to get it customized with Esa or Otter respectively. Do we think Blake’s will be able to customize them or should I get fanatics custom? I only have experience with Blake’s for stars specific jerseys and I know he can’t customize the winter classics anymore because of lack of materials.
Thanks!

This is my first hockey game since the Austin Ice Bats (I know lol) so I was planning on splurging for 100s. However, I just realized my 5' frame may be an issue. I'd love to be close to the action, but being able to see would be preferable to being close. I have some vision issues so I'm a little hesitant about the 300s but am open to it. I was wondering if there were particular parts of sections that would have a good vantage point.
Maybe those of you with kids could chime in? Sorry if this question is weird, thanks in advance!
EDIT: Thanks sm for the help everyone! I’ll be taking a closer look at tickets tonight :)
Grew up in Dallas but have since bounced around a lot. Watched a few games this year ready to dive in head first. Johnston sold me. I can’t stand Jack Eichel and VGK.
Any good pods or sports writers to follow to stay up on the team?
In an interview today on the Ticket, Deboer confirmed that Miro will need surgery. The recovery time is TBD and he is seeing a specialist to confirm the original diagnosis and evaluate surgical options. This will help to determine if he’ll be out 8-12 weeks or possibly longer - though the team is optimistic this isn’t a season ending injury.

Must listen. Gives much more info than he did earlier. Sounds likely surgery but not season ending and overall optimistic it’s not worst case scenario. Miro heading to NY for second evaluation. Also discussed the play more, calling it “reckless” on Mark Stone.
As of today's practice press conference... https://www.nhl.com/stars/video/1-30-25-practice-pete-deboer-6368009539112
Miro: Week to Week (0:07), seeing specialist today. Pete called it a "serious injury" (1:49) and said he'd imagine Miro would be doubtful for the 4 nations tournament if he were to make the determination (1:15).
Nils: Upper body injury, was placed on IR yesterday 1/29. Still gathering information/severity unknown (1:01)
Marchment: Getting really close. Goal was always to try and have him play before the break and he is on track to do so (2:08)
I am planning a bachelor party and have been looking to buy group tickets (10+) for the Stars v Flyers game in March. I was wondering if anyone in here had a good experience with it / where the best place to look, as I am not too familiar with the Stars’ ticket sales. Thanks in advance for any help!
EDIT: Thank you all for sending the same video over and over. I uploaded my screen recording to YouTube so you can hear what I heard. I know his name is row-pey and have always known that, but he said "rue"-pey in the commercial and it threw me for a loop: https://youtu.be/ysDjwp8HwMo?feature=shared
I can't share the video because I can only find it on Instagram, which gets autoflagged and removed, but if you have Insta it's on the NHL page.
They posted a 4 Nations Face Off promo where a bunch of players drop candy from their country in a bowl. Roope appears towards the end and introduces himself as ROO(as in kangaroo)pe Hintz.
If that's how he pronounces it, why do Josh, Razor, and Jeff all say ROWpay? And why have we not exploited the many possible kangaroope puns when he goes off and does his explosive shit?
My timeline on Twitter is full of Vegas fans bringing up what Benn did in the 2023 Western Conference Finals as proof that we are hypocrites for calling what Stone did dirty last night.
Even if I don't think what Stone was dirty, do you recall any Stars fan defending Benn after what he did back in the 2023 WCF?
Anyone selling three tickets for 1/31/25? Looking for 100 or 200 level.
Across 58 overtimes (most all-time), Patrick Roy has a .948 save % in OT and the goalies he faced have an .893 save %, resulting in a 40-18 OT record for Roy. Across 42 OT games (2nd most all-time), Belfour has a .945 save % and the goalies he faced have a .928 save percentage, resulting in a 22-20 record.
If you isolate their stints with different teams:
Roy with the Canadiens 1986-1994
23-6 with a .964 when opposing goalies had an .858.
Roy with Avalanche 1996-2003
17-12 with a .934 when opposing goalies had a .920.
Belfour with Blackhawks 1991-1996
8-9 with a .929 when opposing goalies had a .918
Belfour with Stars 1998-2001
12-8 with a .948 when opposing goalies had a .918
Belfour with Leafs 2003-2004
2-3 with a .965 when opposing goalies had a .968.
The NHL does keep track of NHL OT save % at the link below, but only for goalies that debuted after 1997/98.
I was poking around with some notable goalies from before that time, and have data on the following:
Brodeur: 16-24 with a .912 when opposing goalies had a .943 (WTF New Jersey offense)
Hasek: 15-14 with a .939 when opposing goalies had a .925
Fuhr: 18-11 with a .904 when opposing goalies had an .871
Bower: 8-3 with a .967 when opposing goalies had a .918
Turco: 5-9 with a .921 when opposing goalies had a .967
Billy Smith: 16-5 with a .925 when opposing goalies had an .810
Felix Potvin: 15-5 with a .944 when opposing goalies had an .861
How do you guys feel about Wyatt Johnston being the future captain for the team?
Not only do I think he has the skills for it, he definitely has the personality for it as well.
