Would Waldron be better suited as a reliever? A lot of hitters figured him out later in the season, but would a knuckleballer coming in randomly help prevent teams from preparing for him? We are weaker at catcher right now and a good catcher helps balance out the unpredictability of the pitch, but would it be helpful to see Waldron come in later in a game with that Knuckleball and sweeper mix? Especially after a pitcher that has great velocity. Switching between heat to crazy-breaking pitches could help us out a lot more.
We've been off-season champs the last few years so it's kind of boring seeing every other team make moves and not us.
Cubs have a lot of good prospects, especially OFers. Potentially getting Owen Cassie back would be great lol. Plus allows us to shed around 20 million we can use elsewhere
