Isn’t it nice? 🥹

For a while there… it really felt like no one wanted to be a Dodger. Now, this is the place to be!

I just bought tickets for the stadium tour and I was wondering if parking is included. I checked the email and ticket but no help

Blake Snell will have $66M deferred overall in his 5-year contract with the Dodgers, per @JonHeyman There is also a conditional $10M club option for 2030

Deferrals vs. Low/No Income Tax States

Its interesting that people are pointing out that states like California are going to want to change the contract deferral rules because they are missing out on income taxes and how this benefits the players when they move to a no income tax state when their contract is up but wont acknowledge that teams in states with little to no income taxes already have an advantage when courting players.

For example, Corey Seager signed his $325M/10yr deal with the Rangers. Dodgers would have needed to offer him roughly $76M more to provide equal value after taxes. I'm sure the vast majority of people complaining about deferrals have no issues with this but somehow cry that deferrals are unfair.

Ohtani to Pitch or Not to Pitch?

The assumption has been that Ohtani would switch to pitching next season but with the addition of Snell and his vital role as a slugger last season, the best bet is that he will be most productive by continuing to serve as a DH.

Daily Chat 12/3 ⚾ Offseason

Good morning, r/Dodgers!

Welcome to day 34 of the offseason. Only 79 days until the Dodgers' first Spring Training game of 2025!

MLB Upcoming Dates

Questions of the Day

  1. When you are old, what do you think children will ask you to tell stories about?

  2. Where and when was the most amazing sunset you have ever seen?

  3. Why do you think sports are common across almost all cultures present and past?

Have a great day, r/Dodgers.

New to the baseball

Can anyone explain me why it is harder for the best team to win championship regularly in baseball. In other sports best team win championship more regularly like real Madrid man city. I find it strange that diamondbacks were able to beat LA last year despite them having less talent and money.

anyone know where I can get this version of the lad hat?

most I have seen are without the gold trim on the logo. this doesn't fit my seemingly big ass head now as it's a 7 1/8 so looking for 7 1/4.

Exhibition Games Against NPB Teams

The Seoul Series featured a few games against against the KBO. I can't remember if they played the national team or not.

Can we expect the Dodgers to play against the Yomiuri Giants and perhaps one other team before the Tokyo Series?

Okay do we need Nolan Arenado?

I've been seeing rumors (probably from news sources just trying to create false narratives and start drama), but I've seen quite a few things about him being linked to us.

I really don't think we need him, but I could be wrong. What do you guys think?

Edit: thank you all for validating why I posted this. Muncy is better.

Adopted a pup this weekend. His name was Kershaw, so I had to get him a Dodger collar and jersey.

Arenado putting out his bat signal to the Dodgers

Maybe "Dodger Blue" by Kendrick was a coincidence but man didn't have to repost someone literally calling him a future Dodger while he is still a Cardinal LMAO

WTF are we resigning Kíke???

Was Tanks being signed for 5y deal meant to be a replacement for Kíke’s utility role within the team?

Kíke is my favorite Dodger!!! (obviously biased since I’m Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 )
