That was fast! Let's go Royals!!
Nobody was stopping LA in the World Series, but I can't shake the idea that it maybe should have been the Kansas City Royals in that spot instead of the Yankees. The sting of the team not performing at even their average level in a very winnable series will probably stick for awhile. But for me, it's also a good feeling knowing that next year will definitely go differently, and for the better.
I'm sure many folks here are also Chiefs supporters, and its easy to see a few parallels. But it does bring up the question - are the Royals trending toward the Chiefs growth model? Or are they going to be the Bengals?
Did the stars simply align for a moment or is this the new reality going forward?
Have you switched from hopeful to expectant?
Kudos to everyone on here. Made the season so much more enjoyable. Am a NJ Royals fan and this thread had me as immersed as it I was at the bar watching the game with my buddies. Thanks again everyone!
Honestly shocked and heart-warmed all at the same time. The 3 day trip was tough. The kids were near feral and I had the biggest headache by the time I got home. I wore a Royals hat and he and I talked baseball. He’s a sweet kid who was also showing me letters his mom wrote him for every day and stuff. What a great kid!

Not Royals related but was wondering If sports betting passes in Missouri when it would it start? Is it immediately? What happened when it passed in Kansas?
Hello! I hope whoever reads this has a great day/night! I am a newer Royals fan tbh, and one of the things I love to do is come up with theme songs for stuff. For the Royals, I’ve come across the song “After All These Years” by Silverchair and the lyrics really resonate hard with me and with the team right now I feel. For instance, “After all these years, forget about the troubled times” hits very hard because even though we’ve won 2 World Series, we’ve missed the playoffs so many times in our club’s history. And also, “I was hurting to feel something more than life” hits so hard to me too because of the 2015 team that won it all! Let me know what you all think of the song! I have also left a link to the song’s music video in the post! :3
Just the best dude.
