Ya'll think any chance Arte [Fuck Arte] would splurge? I honestly hope he does not cave to demand and splurge on Soto. Opinions?
I was so new to baseball and was one of the people who got into baseball because of Ohtani. One factor is because I live here in Japan and the media always show him. And eventhough he went to the Dodgers I still follow this team. I fell inlove with the team. I think most of the Japanese people do too. Because one of the subscriptions I subscribed was still following Angels’ games. They will feature Dodgers and Angels’ games ONLY. And one of my japanese friends still root for the Angels.
After seeing players like: Freddie with a broken ribs, ankle, and finger Arraez torn ligament thumb Ohtani’s shoulder Still play while being injured I can’t help myself but to hate Rendon. I know it’s not his fault to get hurt but he can try to still play with it right? To give motivation to the others? I mean he’s a veteran and most of the players in Angels’ lineup are rookies. He really is a good contact hitter and his presence will make a difference to every game.
I know that Freedie, Arraez, Ohtani, are playing in the postseason so they are enduring the pain. Because it’s different from the regular season but look at the Tigers they were sellers on the trade deadline but clinch a postseason. So every game is important whether it’s regular season or postseason. There was a documentary in Japan about Ohtani where he said he really is feeling something about his elbow but didn’t tell anyone and still pitch in the doubleheader because there was a chance the Angels were going to the postseason.
Sorry for the out of nowhere rant. I’m just frustrated with this team lol I hope they find a good leader who will lead the dugout and help this team motivate to strive for more.
Sell the team Arte Moreno.
Not sure who made it but we’re never escaping the “LA ANGELS” lol
Not sure why the ducks are there. To my knowledge they’ve never been in LA and are actively pushing to a more OC identity.
I hope if or when Arte sells the team the future owner realizes the untapped potential of our fanbase and runs a better organization than we have been stuck with for the last 21 years. Also yes this is me taking a victory lap for my post from days ago 😅😂.

I think that the money required to bring him to us would be close to if not more than what ohtani got. and if arte didn’t want to match the dodgers offer then why would he pay a worse and less (monetarily) valuable player more?
I would beef up the pitching with Flaherty, Fried and burnes. Trade Ward and Rengifo for prospects and sign one or two infielders who can play multiple positions (maybe Ha-Seong Kim or Candelita)
We got trout, adell, ward, moniak, and soler. Im thinking we release rendon and move ward to third because he came up as an infielder but idk if he would be good there
This is a fun one. These guys are both former top prospects in their respective orgs who both signed six-year, $24 million dollar deals before either of them made their MLB debuts. Kingery inked his deal with the Phillies in 2018, and White signed his in 2019. White last saw MLB action in 2021, and Kingery last played in the MLB in 2022 when he played one inning of second base (his last at-bat came in 2021).
It’s definitely curious that their careers have taken such similar paths, and even more curious that they’re both now with the Angels and probably playing together in Salt Lake next year. Who’s to say whether this was the intention or just a pure coincidence. Regardless, I hope that either one or both of these two former top prospects can find some new life out here with us. They could certainly play together in AAA this year, barring injury.
This might be common knowledge but Corbin Burnes was a huge Halos fan growing up. He went to the same high school I did and was friends with a family member of mine. They ran into him a few times at games. He even has a brick outside the stadium already. Please Perry to get him this off season
He was a multi talented performer in TV, movies, and at Disneyland.
Our glaring holes are 3B and pitching in general.
What moves can the angels make to address this?
I was curious seeing Canning was shipped to Atlanta, the angels are making room for a top tier starter like Corbin Burnes or Snell
3B is a bit more dicey, we could go for a top of the line player if they are ready to move Rendon to the bench; if not we could go for a low key player that has starting potential once Rendon inevitably gets injured
What are your thoughts on the moves the angels will make this offseason?
Every post has almost all negative comments and it's getting obnoxious.
I get it, we sucked last year, but there is a lot of reasons to be hopeful.
You guys write with a lot of anger assuming that none of our young players will get any better, when in reality I think we have at least 2 MVP caliber young players in the making on Neto and O'Hoppe.
In the next 2 or 3 years we will be contenders once again, getting carried by this young core assembled by Perry
Apparently we don’t have Ward? Arte is really cooking this offseason😭 (Who let him in the kitchen again!?)
Just overall curious of all the moves we have made and if we are losing 90+ or 100+ and if we are trading trout to the dodgers for for a 10th round pick and we continue to pay him😂
So I was watching Foul Territory and they just bash everything Angels. “Why would they get Jorge Soler? They need a shortstop and pitching?!?!” Neto can you please go off and get an All-Star nod to shut these haters up?
