Hello, I am 18 years old and in a while I will start my medical studies. After these years of studies I planned to leave my country of origin to live in Asia (it's global in reality I'm referring to China, Singapore, Malaysia in short all Asian countries where the work is super well paid ) I wanted to know the experiences of nationals who have gone to live there to know if it is worth it to live in these regions of the world (or typically Canada or the United States even if honestly I have not really want to go live there) .Do you have any advice/experience to give me? If it's complicated to live there as a foreigner for work. Thank you in advance, even if I have particular attention towards nationals who live in Singapore, Malaysia or the Philippines, any other feelings from other Asian countries are welcome Thanks in advance
Hello all,
Looking to do a trip around SE Asia with a couple friends. We plan on starting around the 10th of January and can’t decide whether to start in Bangkok or Singapore. We are thinking of travelling for 2 or 3 months and want to try and do as much as possible. Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, maybe Cambodia and Loas too. Just wondering which place out of Singapore and Bangkok would be best to start at and what route would be best to take.
Appreciate any advice,
Thanks in advance!
My family has relatives living in Europe and they asked us if we wanted anything over there, but we can't really think of anything. Most items here are cheaper or are of the same price.
Looking to do a long-term temple stay (several months at least) for cheap. What countries can I get the most bang for my buck in terms of lodging, food, etc.? What countries do foreigners generally report the best experiences for this kind of long-term experience?
hello ! I asked this question elsewhere but I am gathering all opinions before making my decision ; hey everyone I am thinking of visiting china but because of a very traumatic travel in th philippines I am trying now to be aware of the stray animal situation. are there a lot ? are they in a very bad shape ? are people cruel to them ? we are aiming for the big cities like Beijing and Shanghai but also more country side cities. Any info to help me out if I should visit or not. I know it sounds silly but I had a very bad breakdown after an event I witnessed on an animal and I cannot handle it without losing it
