Our servers constantly scan Social media and link up profiles of people, from Ads on sites like BackPage. To monitor changes that might help us identify new victims. ( Face Recognition technology)

We scan millions of " webcam shows" videos from victims of human trafficking, to try and identify geographic locations of where the victims might be. ( Reverse Geolocation technology)

We are looking for people to help us with the investigation side, but also would love to hear how we can help investors too.

We have done Human trafficking investigations and we know it can be emotional and difficult, and I think adding technology can help in all different ways.

After scrolling through this feed, I’m not seeing much on familial trafficking although that is the subtype with the highest numbers. Why do you think that is?

I contribute it to things such as the media STILL portraying trafficking as “snatch and grab” even though that’s only 6% of cases.

In the United States what kind of help do women who work in those fake massage parlors receive after a bust? I have seen articles of them getting busted but I can not find any information on what a victim might experience once they are rescued from these places. If they are not legal residents what happens to them? Are they sheltered and do they receive any therapy or support?

I am writing my bachelors thesis on online child sex trafficking in Italy, predominantly "What Role Does Digitalization Play in Enabling Child Sex Trafficking in Italy", I mainly discuss the surface web and dark web and the differences and similarities between the platforms used on them. I was wondering if anyone has the book "Technology in Human Smuggling and Trafficking: Case Studies of Italy and the United Kingdom" by Georgios A. Antonopoulos, Gabriele Baratto, Andrea Di Nicola, Parisa Diba, Elisa Martini, Georgios Papanicolaou, and Fiamma Terenghi. It costs about $50 online, but I don't need the whole book I only need the short section on human trafficking in Italy. I also don't know to what extent it talks about minors as that's my main focus. If anyone has a section of this book or the book or knows where I can find it for free or cheaper I'd greatly appreciate the help! Also if anyone has any other books, journal articles, videos, whatever just any other sources regarding this topic, I'd love to read them! Thank you for the help! :)
