Three possibilities: 1. The MNLA will finally get off their lazy asses and actually fight. 2. The MNLA will soon become another BGF. 3.Status quo; MNLA will still not do anything for either side.
Passing through Yangon later this coming week. Looking for a lifestyle photographer to capture the visit. If any one has suggestions, please feel free to comment or directly send messages. Previous work would be great!
I received a job offer for an international law firm in Yangon that mainly works with NGOs and embassies. However, by paying income tax I would probably indirectly support the government.. How do locals in Yangon/Myanmar view Expats moving to Yangon?
Last year, I attended school back home and expected to continue this year. I am currently a senior in high school (grade 12) in an American system. So with the expectation, my parents made it so that I had to answer the matriculation. I'm alright with doing that if I'm back home, but now that I've moved to Thailand because the school closed and have several commitments for the week of the test (March 17). These commitments, like the matriculation exam, have tied me to a pole like a dog. How should I escape it? My parents keep saying its for my future. Ok, but I already have a university acceptance and am expected to graduate with an American diploma. Anyways so, how should I escape this? I don't want to take it honestly.

If you are planning or thinking to visit Myanmar, the firstthings I wanna ask is 'Are you ready for the adventures?'. Is the answer is 'Yes' , I'd love to guide around the Yangon city.If the answer is 'No' ,you should probably stay outside of Myanmar. Myanmar is different from anywhere you lived. It got is own good side and really bad side. Far for more content email me -bhonelapyae69@gmail.com
I've been looking for a few teenagers who are passionate about making music, (preferably bassist, drummer, electric guitarist, keyboardist and a vocalist), to start a band (as a hobby). don't need to be professional btw, it's just for shit and giggles. I myself have only just begun playing electric guitar.

Long story short, my school suspended classes when COVID-19 struck. Not long after, the military thing occurred. I decided not to go back to school (a pretty bad decision anyway—I would have finished high school by now otherwise).
I’m turning 17 next month and came here for advice. To be honest, I want to resume my education. My brother can cover my financial needs. He works in Korea.
My questions are, I'm preparing for GED right now.
(I have been displaced) My purpose at this point is to escape from this country.
Any suggestions are welcome! Please don't mind any mistake
Anyone here successfully got a J1 visa approved? I plan to go for a year starting this Nov and the agency recommends me not to in case they might reject it. But separately if you apply for it yourself it is a bit different?
So i can't talk much about this with others so let me open up a bit. Y'all have that odd feeling on this day? Idk why but I feel like my heart gonna explode just by thinking it's been 4 years and nothing changed much. Most people get used to it and move on about their life. Not me tho , I got locked up for almost 2 years and I missed the funeral of my aunt and uncle. Man I feel like my heart gonna explode
Hello, I visited Myanmar around ten times between 2012 and 2015 and I absolutely loved it. I went to Yangon and up north to Mandalay and Bagan. I loved the food, the people and I really enjoyed it. Two of my friends there moved out one to the UK and one to the USA. I am looking to visit in May, only Yangon this time, would it be safe for a foreigner? I am a dual national of the UK and Italy and I am thinking to stay there between 7 and 9 days probably flying from Thailand. Any advice? Will I find Yangon much different than before? Thank you.
Anyone in this sub familiar with the asylum process in Canada? I’m planning to go there with visit visa and seek asylum at immigration. If you have experience with this, please leave a comment or DM me.
Hey everyone,
I’m from Germany, and I’m really scared for my friend in Myanmar. She’s 21 years old, and I just found out that Myanmar is now drafting females into the military. I don’t know how likely it is that she’ll actually be drafted, but the thought of it really worries me.
She doesn’t want to join the military, and I’m afraid for her safety. I don’t know much about how conscription works there—does anyone know how likely it is that she’ll be forced to go? Is there any way for her to avoid it?
Any advice or insight would really help. Thanks!
Where can I go for reliable and trustworthy money exchange places in Yangon? (For baht, USD, SGD, etc..)
