hello last 2023 of march we officially moved back to the philippines from USA we are dual citizens but we only have us passport (we have filipino citizenship papers) unfortunately we didnt notice till last month that our us passport was stamped for a visa expiration (me and my husband) they didnt ask us in the airport if we were dual citizens. what do i do? will i be paying for overstaying even if we are dual citizens if so how much will it be?

for my sons case when he was born i was a filipino citizen then, tho he was born in US he was also stamped, we reported his birth abroad in philippine embassy in california but we never heard back, what should we do for him? and isnt he a filipino citizen too by birth right? also will i be paying too and if so how much do you think it will be?

For context, yung lola ko ay 89 years old na bedridden na. May mga anak siya sa abroad at meron din na nandito sa Pinas. Bale yung 2 anak niya sa abroad, nagpapadala ng tig 10k/month. So 20k/month yung budget niya.

Yung gastos niya ngayon consist of:

• gatas (dati naka Ensure pero ngayon Bear Brand na lang)
• maintenance na gamot
• diaper
• kuryente (24/7 naka aircon)
• juice and Monde na mamon (sobra konti na magkanin kasi minsan di na niya nangunguya)

Kasi recently, nagrereklamo yung tita ko sa abroad na bakit daw kinukulang yung padala niya sa lola ko. Naloloka na kasi ako umintindi.

I really find this page funny most of the time, but lately I realized talaga na totoo nga: Algorithms boost what's engaged with, not the intent of the messenger, lalo na diyan sa atin.

I think the “anik-anik” talks should just stop. I see both sides and I think both the gate keeping and the cloutchasing of other people are ruining the fun.

Oo, biglang nagtrend and the sad thing about it is that nagmamahal lalo yung mga “anikaniks” (mapa popmart man yan or mga souvenirs sa tourist spots) but it’s been happening for the past years and nagiging issue lang naman na sa iba nung nauso yung labubu.

Imo, there’s no need for competition on who got the most cheaper or randomest anikaniks. Some people start somewhere rin and you wouldnt really know baka mamaya may random aniks rin sila na they dont actually show kasi they didn’t think that was anikanik thing.

I think it’s kind of pointless? As I’ve said, let people be happy with what they want. Ang dating kasi may cloutchasers na and may gatekeepers pa. Just heard that the Secretary of Finance Recto is justifying Ayuda because of inflation. However, there is inflation because there is too much money circulating.

So how does giving free money ease inflation? We are doomed with this kind of officials. I bet they would use the funds to buy votes.

However, I would argue that including Diwata as a “joke candidate” reveals the lack of understanding people have with the partylist system. Partylists were always intended to represent sectoral groups and a business operator who grew a successful brand is the perfect representative for a VENDORS Partylist. What should be ridiculed is not candidates like Diwata but partylists who represent nothing other than the ambitions of billionaires and incumbent officials.

I'm really confused rn so I need help.

Context:

I have around 4 subjects left in UE. I stopped twice because I had to provide for my family and now, for my own family. So I just worked and whenever I have money to continue my studies, I do it. The last time I enrolled was before pandemic, 2019.

I want to go back to school and finish it because it's hard to get a stable job without a diploma. My husband has a business but I would like to someday fulfill my dreams of becoming a lawyer. A part of me thinks I can still do it.

However, we have 2 young kids, ages 5 and 3. I would like to think that I'm doing this for them but I think I'm actually doing it for myself.

My dilemma is this:

We live in the province. If I go to Manila and finish my course, I have to be gone for 5 months, rent a room, plus other living expenses.

There's another option though: ETEEAP however they only offer Education and IT in our province.

I'm currently in Marketing and my clients are based in the US.

Currently on vacation in the ph. My girlfriend and me want to take a ferry from Cebu to Siargao, what i found out is we have to take a ferry to surigao and then another one to siargao.

my question is how do i get the ferry schedule and how do i book it? online it only says there is like 1 ferry at 21:00 that goes overnight.

can i fully rely on that info? and do i have to book it online or just go to the port and buy the tickets there?

I (15M) have been receiving money sent from my tito in the States to help with my studies and fund for college. Recently, 10k was transferred to my account, my mom said that my tito sent $250.
