r/Trucks: Most anything and everything about trucks. Post up your truck, a gallery of your latest modification, or any questions about what to buy or how to maintain your beauty. It can be lowered, lifted ,or stock but as long as it's a truck we want to see it.

1. Be civil and decent to each other. Check the politics at the door. No gatekeeping. No shitposting. |
2. Use the up/downvote button fairly, not as an "I disagree" button. |
3. A truck is generally a body-on-frame vehicle. You'll know it when you see it. Something truck-like without a bed but doing truck things? That's fine, it's truck enough! Seriously, no gatekeeping. |
4. All truck buying/choosing/selling questions must go in the weekly megathread sticky or r/whatcarshouldIbuy. |
5. Please write a decent title; avoid clickbait and cryptic titles. "Help" and photo posts MUST include the year/make/model in the title. |
6. No spam, including self-promotion spam and sales. Follow Reddit's 10% guideline to submission sources. Spammers will be immediately banned and blacklisted. There are no exceptions. |
7. Read the rest of our rules here. |

I got a 2017 frontier SV with 61,000 miles one owner clean title and good carfax history for $17,500. Is there anything I should be aware of mechanically? Also is this a good deal or should I have waited for something better
I can't choose because I'm bias.
Have had it about 3 months. First one I’ve ever bought so I’m not sure if it’s normal or if it should lay flat? It works fine, no snagging or sticking. Retrax One MX Manual on a 2024 F-150.
I've started paying more attention to A/T tires, and I see a lot that have this aggressive "tread" on the side. Looks tacky to me, like they're trying really hard to make the tire lol really rugged, by means that don't actually make the truck more capable. Like the side profile of an A/T tire wasn't enough
Yanked this guy out of a jackknife across both lanes over to the shoulder so he could chain up. It didn't fight me nearly as much as I thought it would. 💪🏻
Any idea how to mount this? It's meant to stick onto the glass but obviously pickups have vertical windows so no good angle.
Anyway to mount onto the headliner without screws?
Obvious, got hit and this is my only lead.
I needed to replace my 2016 GMC that was falling apart and picked up this 2021 at a really good price on a trade-in. I was a little skeptical about a V6 after coming from a 6.2 V8, still am quite frankly- but apparently has a higher towing capacity. We shall see, I pick it up tomorrow morning. It's an XLT, but has everything except leather seats and all-wheel drive.
Got the ‘20 cleaned up and just appreciating her looks. This truck was my fleet vehicle at work since new. The company replaced the truck and I was able to buy this one at a prime price. Now I drive this personally, and for work I drive a ‘24 F150 XLT.
Is it still possible to get a long bed, cab and a half (or whatever you call that), 1500 truck? Can’t find any configuration for any manufacturer. I have a sierra 1500 2011 truck in this configuration and I would like a similar new truck. I use it mostly to go to my hunting cabin so i prefer the 8ft bed so I can load my quad and close the tailgate behind it and the rear space to bring stuff so no single cab but dont care about having a full crew cab
Unfortunately had a theft this morning, and this is the best shot of the suspect’s truck. Any guess would be appreciated!
Just bought this 2 owner 2004 zf6 6.0. Has a CB antenna mount in the center but also these 2 silicone dabs on the sides, my guess is some sort of emergency light bar like the ones used on chase trucks for big rigs hauling oversized loads. Just trying to find out if this truck was a hotshot truckers rig for the first owner. Really hoping it wasn’t. Also has holes in the bed from where a 5th wheel/gooseneck hitch used to be which makes me weary. Truck is very clean and seems to have been maintained very well.

You gotta look close in this picture the front end is raised about 4-5 inches
