A place for you to show of or ask questions about any truck that's got some years on her. If it had a stock CD player as an option it's probably too new.
This is a subreddit for those who love all classic trucks along with stories and pics of yours or others. We are open to utes and pick-ups alike as long as they are >25 years old.

Still working on this project truck.
300cu inline 6 4 spd
My temp gauge isn't working at all. Faulty Engine Coolant Temp Sensor probably. Where do I find this on the engine?
Second, the original spark plugs are copper. Can I upgrade to platinum or stay with copper?
Third, someone had siphoned gas out of this truck before and when I fill at the pump, it constantly triggers the pump to shut off. How do I correct that?
Sorry for all the questions. It's been a journey to get it to this point.
Howdy everyone, I replaced my stock 2bb carb with a Carter 600 AFB but now when put under load it Boggs down and will barely move. I was told to check the timing but not sure what it should be set at or if there could be other issues.
Info: truck is a 1978 F-150 Ranger with a 351 Windsor, C6 auto, edelbrock performer 400 intake.
Thanks!
What’s the best, cheapest way to go about if I want to lower her? Inland empire, ca area. Please comment / hit me up with recommendations.
I picked up a 1965 Fargo D300 yesterday and the turn signals do not work. All other lights work on the truck so I’m thinking it’s a relay or flasher. I’m wondering if anyone has a picture or diagram of a similar fuse box for these trucks.
So I recently got gifted some new wheels and tires for my 74 ford f100 but the problem is the front tires rub. What would you guys recommend as a solution I could lift the whole truck itself which isnt a problem but need recommendations on what brands and products would be best.
Hi, I’m new when it comes to cars or trucks and my uncle recently got this 67’ Ford F250. We managed to drive it from its location to our house with the help of it getting jumpstarted. Other than that since bringing it home we haven’t been able to get it to turn on, even with a jumpstart. It has a full tank of gas, but with electrical problems with the dashboard not working. Whenever I use the manual choke and turn the key all I get is a click, then nothing happens. I’ve also took apart the dashboard to see that the ignition lock cylinder keeps moving whenever the key is turned so that might be another problem? The only part that we have replaced has been the solenoid, but that’s about it. I’ve been thinking it’s the alternator that might be amiss, but I would like any help suggestions of what might be the problem.
Hey, me again.
I have a 1984 ford f150 inline 6. It's a 4 speed manual and is carbed.
This truck sat in a barn for 13 years. It's very low mileage and had a tune up 50 miles before being sat.
This is what I have done to the truck.
New front calipers and breaks
New break fluid (obviously but figured I'd mention)
New front gas tank (it has two but I only use the front)
New fuel pump
New sending unit
New fuel filter
New battery
New tires
Newer alt ( put in new 12 years ago, has about 50 miles on it).
Newer spark plugs (put in 12 years ago)
Newer cap and rotar(12 years ago)
Now, I have three issues currently
The MPG is atrocious. I believe New, the truck got about 18mpg. It's now getting about 8 - 10.
The engine will continue running sometimes when the key is out. (Engine run off)
When reversing, it sometimes lunges or sputters backwards.
Carb bad? Back drums bad? I got a new air filter coming.
Need to source a new inner and outer front wheel bearing. My shop tried 4 different options from their normal suppliers. I tried one from LMC Truck but nothing fits.
Please help! Thanks much!!
My 66 Chevy C20 seems to be leaking fuel. I'm guessing it's the fuel line and I plan to replace it. Any tips? I'm not great with tools but I'm willing to try.
Hey truck fam. My '64 F250 seems to keep killing batteries? I know not all auto batteries are created equal....ie Neverstart, Duracrap...etc. The batteries seem to last about a year and then I need to replace it. Am I just missing something here?
Hey All,
My Fiance and I are working on our new project, a 1964 IH C900 with 70k miles. The previous owner told us the last time it ran it had low compression. We're going to confirm this, but in the meantime we're looking for our next step.
Here's a few questions we've been considering:
We're hoping for a relatively affordable option to get this baby running again. Appreciate any advice you've got, thanks!
Hey ladies and gents. I love classic vehicles, but I’m in no way an enthusiast and know anything about them aside from the fact that they look great. I’m here though because I have been commissioned to re-finish the wood bed of a ‘56 ford 100 Existing is rotted out white oak. I’m wondering, should I go with oak again? And what kind of finish would you use? I’ve used marine helmsman on other projects, and I find it doesn’t hold up as it claims it will.
Just looking for a little guidance Thanks
