New to this sub. I’ve been wanting to get a new car for a while and love the look of the Datsun 280zx.

I’m looking for a manual, RHD in running condition. It doesn’t have to be in perfect condition, but enough so it runs well and I can drive it. My budget is around £20k

The problem is, I can’t seem to find any anywhere. It’s like they don’t exist. I have found some that are RHD but they are automatics. The rest are all LHD.

Does anyone know where I can find one in the UK. Or do I just have to get lucky and hope one pops up on the internet. Are there any specific places/auction houses that sell them. Any help would be appreciated

My 280zx turbo will not start-I suspect a bad fuel pump but still attempt to start every now and then out of boredom. The last time I did, it cranked hard then a puff of smoke came from the passenger side of engine bay, near the firewall. Then all I got was clicking, and there was no power to anything, not even a door chime. Pulled the accessory fusible link, didn’t feel any soft spots so I put it back in. One of the engine fusible links wasn’t in all the way so I pushed it back in. Now I get the door chime again, but like they say-where there’s smoke, there’s fire..Not sure if I should continue trying to diag myself or bring it to a professional

Hi guys, I'm UK based and looking for some front suspension tower panels for a 280z? Idk if I'm being blind but haven't been able to find any online. Anyone know where i can find some?

I picked up this ol’ beaut a while back. Love it, when it has charge it’ll fire right up and she purrs. But I rarely drive it. Pretty sure the battery has a bad cell as it won’t hold a charge; it goes very dead. I am a diesel mechanic and have 3 cars (two of them being BMW so you know I have my hands full) I am wondering what battery I should go with? Would I benefit from an AGM or a quality lead acid? I could add a voltage regulator of some sort if AGM is the way. I haven’t done a draw test but I also haven’t had the time to really mess with it yet.

Does anyone know if the 230c/260c 1970-1975 share glass like front and rear windshields with other Datsun models ??

How can these hoses be sold that often whitout even fitting -.-

The new veilside front bumper fits up pretty great. A quick rattlecan paint job made a big difference.
