Herbert not being healthy isn’t the issue. I have watched him play through numerous injuries over the years and he has never thrown for under 200 yards in 4 straight games.
Now, I understand we’re a pretty good run game and this is “Harbaugh ball” but we can’t waste the talent of a top 5 quarterback.
Something needs to change.
I know a loss stings (especially to the Chiefs), but the fanbase should come out of this game excited about the future of this team. This roster was missing 4 out of its 5 best players (with the 5th out of 5, Herbert, playing while injured) and we took the world champs down to the wire. A few plays go differently in this game and we come out victorious. Our offense was not good, but what did y’all expect missing both of our starting tackles? The interior has problems as is and losing both of your edge blockers against one of the best defenses in the league just isn’t going to cut it.
Now, there are certainly questions about some decisions made during the game that are very valid (mainly using our challenge early and preventing us from challenging before the 4th and 1 and the ensuing playcall on 4th and 1), but half of the doomers in here said Kansas City was going to blow us out of the water and that playing Herbert would be meaningless.
Harbaugh and Hortiz came to a roster with zero depth, aging vets that they had to either renegotiate with or get rid of, extremely little cap space, and $60 million in dead cap. If you aren’t optimistic about where this team is heading, then just stop following the team because nothing will satisfy you.

This is a beautiful short story written by fl1ntfl0ssy of the 2018 Chargers v Chiefs game when we won against the Chiefs. It's a bummer we lost today but I believe in the boys! My late boyfriend loved this story and had a screen shot of it. It'd mean a lot if I can get in touch with the writer fl1ntfl0ssy whose account since has disappeared. If you are still around on this sub under a different user name, please DM me.

Has anyone ordered the Ladd McConkey jersey from nfl shop? Powder blue one. Says screen printed but all his other jerseys say heat sealed. Really have been wanting to get a jersey since preseason but unsure on the screen printed and if the description is correct.

Always loved this picture of Padre Señor Rios. It means something to me today I feel.
The Chargers have announced their inactive players for Week 4.
Quarterback Justin Herbert is active again even though he is dealing with an ankle injury.
Starting offensive tackles Rashawn Slater (pectoral) and Joe Alt (knee) are out along with outside linebacker Joey Bosa, who is dealing with a hip injury.
The Bolts are also shorthanded in the secondary as Deane Leonard (hamstring) and Ja'Sir Taylor (fibula) are both inactive.
Linebacker Junior Colson will miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury. Running back Kimani Vidal is also inactive for the fourth straight game.
Here is who won't suit up against the Chiefs:
LB Junior Colson
RB Kimani Vidal
DB Deane Leonard
DB Ja'Sir Taylor
T Rashawn Slater
T Joe Alt
OLB Joey Bosa
This will be updated with Kansas City's inactives
Would a kind soul be willing to pick up the black Puro chargers hoodie from the equipment store for me? I really wanted last years but couldn’t make it and I know it’s stadium exclusive :(
Hi! Please direct me to another spot if there is a go-to resource, but I primarily want to know if I should drive and pay for parking or Uber to and from the stadium. (I am an LA resident).
I plan on getting there early to watch the morning slate of games and checking out the stadium. Maybe a tailgate who knows!
Can i bring a bag in? Mainly for a water bottle and a phone charger.
Thanks. Go bolts.
Hey guys i’m kinda new to this whole thing & it’s my first game and i’m going with my gf. i’m parking somewhere outside the stadium for pretty cheap but how do I get to the thunder alley by walking ? also do i need to pay to enter and tailgate and buy drinks and food ?
I’m disgusted by all these complaints I’m seeing about injuries. All these “what ifs” being tossed out there. Most of all, the general lack of support in Harbaughs decisions. Idk if it’s just that yall are new to football or you don’t know what Harbaugh has accomplished but the man ain’t no joke. 2 NFC Championship appearances and a SB appearance with Krapernick as his QB then he went on to absolutely dominate CFB ending with a perfect season to win a national title, something only 4 coaches in CFB history have been able to do. Then there’s also the fact that he has the highest winning percentage among the current head coaches in the NFL (not counting 1st year HC Mike Macdonald).
It just completely blows my mind how we finally get a good coach and so many of you seem to not believe in him. I get your concerns but this man knows what he’s doing. Most of all, he knows how to build a winning culture. All these doubts and what ifs I’m seeing are not contributing to that winning culture. He’s said it himself plenty of times, we’re in this to win. If someone gets hurt it’s next man up. So please, enough of all the what ifs and doubts. Harbaugh is him. Bolt tf boys ⚡️⚡️⚡️
I’m super pumped for the game and I have my Chargers gear ready.
