The Bengals have 9 individual 200+ yard games against the Steelers, Browns and Ravens (3 against each team). No Steeler, Brown or Raven has ever had a 200+ yard receiving game against the Bengals.
Ja'Marr Chase has more 200+ yard games against the Ravens (2) than the Ravens have in their entire history (1 in 464 games)
is malda a safe place to stay, specially for a woman, you know safety-wise and politically with eveything going in bangladesh?
I have heard a lot about "The Patriot Way". They were able to sustain two incredible decades when combined with a all-world quarterback.
While not Tom Brady, Joe Burrow is certainly a generational quarterback. But we seem to be counting on "The Bengals Way" to sustain our success.
Some of our most diehard fans are on this subreddit. I would love to know how they would describe "The Bengals Way".
I am really trying to find some hope in all of this.

So yeah, just win, it’s still very possible to make the playoffs, there are no crazy upsets, things will fall in place if we just win.
I’m die hard. Have watched every snap for 20 years. It got me thinking - in any other consumer relationship, if an organization stops giving me what I want (or at least the appearance of trying) then I move on or stop giving them my business. Ever since I’ve watched through the Blake/Kitna/Palmer/Dalton/Burrow years, the organization has proven time and again to be cheap. They care more about money and less about winning than I do. At what point do I speak in the only language they seem to care about and boycott my viewership, memorabilia purchasing, etc.? If a big enough movement happens, would it make a difference? Embrace debate.
I know there’s an issue with his health and missing too many games, but I still don’t like the feeling of him leaving the Bengals because he’s basically another WR#1 honestly. What do you guys think the Bengals should do with him?
I know it's likely not high but I don't really care, I'm just done with this season
Mind you this year has sucked, and the Brown’s + front office do share a lot of blame, however this narrative where Burrow should demand a trade and the Bengals are ruining him is growing tired. I do not see this sentiment anywhere else when teams shit the bed. Even the Browns or Jets don’t get dragged through mud as much as us.
From a cap perspective I think we have the 20th most cap space, plus the highest paid Qb etc. So money is being spent. Front office does make stupid decisions, but I feel that happens across the board.
Niners are having a shit season and probably just ended McCaffrey's career by force feeding him in the snow after being sidelined all year with tendinitis yet you will never see the media mention that.
Or even the Jags with Lawerence. Where are the calls for him to demand a trade?
There are obvious things that need to change like a bigger scouting department, so if we do let Bates and Reader walk we can draft better and develop replacements. To me that is the biggest glaring issue as well as being loyal to a fault in regard to midseason changes. Regardless of all that I feel the club is still getting punished for the 90s sins. The Jets have been just as bad as the 90s Bengals since like 2011 yet where is all the rhetoric pointed in their direction. It’s just frustrating how much the media shits on the Bengals constantly.
Yes the Bengals need to modernize but I feel there are a lot worse run teams in the NFL.
I missed the email and didn’t realize I had to make the decision to opt out of renewing season tickets back in October.
Price of the tickets have gone up while the quality of their product has gone way down. After yesterdays game I want to cancel my tickets out of protest. Is there any way I can get out of this?
There's no exact science for combing receptions, yards and TDs, but if you go by half-PPR fantasy points which awards 0.5 points per reception, 1 point for every 10 yards, and 6 points for every TD, these are the largest gaps in NFL history (since the 1966 merger) between the top WR and 2nd best WR:
Season | WR1 vs. WR2 | Half-PPR Point Gap |
---|---|---|
1987 | Jerry Rice over JT Smith | 78.2 |
2007 | Randy Moss over Terrell Owens | 69.8 |
1980 | John Jefferson over Tony Hill | 68.4 |
2019 | Michael Thomas over Chris Godwin | 67.0 |
2021 | Cooper Kupp over Deebo Samuel | 66.5 |
1974 | Cliff Branch over Drew Pearson | 64.9 |
1990 | Jerry Rice over Andre Rison | 57.4 |
2024 | Ja'Marr Chase over Amon Ra St. Brown | 54.9 (on pace for 77.8) |
1986 | Jerry Rice over Stanley Morgan | 52.7 |
So Chase is currently at the 8th largest gap, with 5 games left in the season. If both Chase and Amon Ra keep up their pace, they'll finish 77.8 points apart, which would be the largest gap outside of 1987 Jerry Rice.
Rice's 1987 season is unusual as it was the strike year where some top players missed time. Rice ended up playing only 12 games, yet finished nearly 80 points ahead of the #2 WR JT Smith (who played the full 15 games).
The 17 games would certainly help potentially widen the gap, but if you gave #2 on this list Moss and TO an extra game in 2007, they would have been 73 points apart based on their paces that year.
On his first year as OC I think Dan has actually made a change to our offense and Zac seems to call the right plays at “most” points. And his offensive scheme seems to really suit both Burrow and Chase! We’ve barely seen as many punts (correct me if I’m wrong) Rehkow with 41 in 12 games . Compared to Robbins 71 for the season.
Now get us some Guards and get a different run coordinator and Chase brown might be a top 10 RB next year.
We should all know that the biggest revenue source in the NFL is TV deals. If we stop watching on the networks paying billions the league will notice the difference in viewership for our region. This will have a larger financial impact than sorely trying to boycott two games.
I can guarantee you that none of my defensive players of any Flag Football team I coached in the last 20 years would have done what Newton did - and I am not even very good at coaching
Lou why - oh why????????
Unbelievable.....
