I'm told by like every builder (obviously) + actually some 3rd party inspectors (surprise) that the residential city inspectors in Collin County actually do a good job and have high standards. Any truth to that? and yes I plan to get an independent inspector either way

Help needed!!!
Yesterday I lost one of my bracelets, the thin silver one. It’s not a crazy expensive bracelet but has a lot of sentimental value to it.
I visited the N Central Expressway Costco in Plano, West University Drive Costco in McKinney and the Aldi on K Ave in Plano.
If anyone finds it please reach out to me. I’d even be willing to give $10 to them.
Looking for good/honest Dentist in dallas/north dallas, any recommendations?
To celebrate the Feast of St. Francis and his love for all of nature, we invite you to bring your friendly, leashed, crated, or appropriately contained pet to the Giving Garden for a short service and blessing! We'll have a tour of the Garden, some treats for the furries, and snacks for the people.
Please park on the east side of Church Lane and walk down the driveway to the yard. We'll meet you there!
Your pet must be friendly in public and safe to bring! We will have water and treats for the pets as well as goodies and the chance to see the volunteer work we do here at the farm.
If this isn't your thing totally cool! Please be respectful to others who might be interested.
I’m filing my first ever insurance claim and I cannot remember the exact date this happened? Darn it
I can’t go back to sleep, my head is killing me, and I’m angry. My question is: how the f are we supposed to do anything from our homes in our beds at 4:52AM from 250 miles away? Was that really necessary? I don’t want to turn off my emergency alerts and miss a real emergency, but I don’t want crap like this waking up the whole state of Texas. Someone in the Dallas sub posted how to file an FCC complaint. I encourage others to do the same b/c this was ridiculous.
Basically , the title .
Thank you .
I’ve just noticed an influx of Plano PD vehicles out and about. Anyone know why? Did they suddenly hire a bunch of new traffic cops or is there some sort of quota they’re trying to meet? Anyone have intel?
Does anyone know of any pediatric clinics that also offer mental health services?
Hey guys! I'm looking for a decently priced Asian hair stylist. I'm thinking of getting a wolf cut or something similar, but I also want the stylist's professional opinion on what style could best suit me.
Down to travel to like Richardson, Plano, Dallas, Frisco, etc. since I'm based in The Colony area.
I would prefer if they can speak decent English since I don't know any other languages (despite being Chinese lol)
TIA!

I’m getting married on Saturday the 12th here in Plano, and am ballin on a budget. I wanted to put feelers out to see if anyone has a large cooler (like the big long ones or the super deep ones) I could possibly borrow or rent! Would also be happy to pay in homemade cookies (my dad said they’re officially better than his mom’s, so like… they’re pretty good;)

Hello neighbors! I think I have a leak in my slab. Started noticing some hot spots on the floor and it looks like it would be where the hot water heater pipe runs under the slab.
We started smelling something could coming from the attic and think it’s a dead animal, it’s kinda crammed to take a look, so we’re looking for a professional. Preferably someone who can cut open and repair walls since it’s likely they’d have to. Any recommendations are welcome!
Thank you!
Good morning, I'm still figuring out this Reddit thing, please forgive and feel free to educate me if I'm making any mistakes here! I want to get my mom a great hand/foot massage for her birthday. I found a couple places that looked AWESOME w/ different sauna rooms and various pools (King Spa, Spa Castle) but unfortunately went on to read pretty distressing information about each, including being shut down for sanitization issues. Uck. So I've moved on to just a really great place for simple hand/foot massage,,I've given up on all the bells and whistles of the full day Spa experience. We live in Richardson/Plano area so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much and have a great day!
Hey everyone, I'll start this off by being completely honest: I'm in a really bad spot and desperately need help.
I moved to the area back in March from PA, and landed my first job in May. Unfortunately I was blindsided and laid off back in mid August. I started a new job on Monday, but everything about it is terrible, with a 34 mile commute to boot. My wife is expecting, I'm over week behind on my car payment, and we were only able to pay half of our rent on the 1st.
I am FREAKING out with how rapidly things are falling apart and for some reason I'm having a really difficult time finding jobs that will actually call me for an interview. Unfortunately I don't have any connections down here for a referral or a good word to get my foot in the door. Is there anyone here that might have an opening at their job that can get me in? I live on the border of Plano and Richardson, I have 8 years of forklift experience (5 as a trainer), I was a QC inspector at a CNC shop at the job that laid me off, I've worked in bottled water manufacturing, cold storage, retail, and have some management experience. I'm an extremely fast learner and highly adaptable, I just need a chance at a fresh start.
TIA

I was in an accident and need to hire a good attorney. I was stopped at a red light when two cars collided at the intersection, causing one to slide into my car. The front of my vehicle is severely damaged, and the engine is making strange noises. I have dash cam footage that shows I'm not at fault. The police confirmed that the fault lies with the other drivers, but my insurance company won't cover damages until liability is established. This means I have to pay a $2,500 deductible for someone else's mistake, which is frustrating, and I'm also missing work. I'm looking for recommendations for a reliable attorney or any advice on how to handle this situation. Thank you.
The most recent thread where there was a lot of engagement on this topic is from a year ago. I know it’s not cheap, but I need the best price for a full synthetic oil change, because I need an oil change today! 😅
Groupon and Google searches have yielded various coupons that run an average of $25-$30 off an oil change ($25 off at Valvoline, $26 & $30 off coupons found for Jiffy Lube).
Any recommendations for a place with a decently priced oil change?
Bonus points if they won’t try to scam or upsell me on ridiculous things.
