Has anyone applied to the dental hygiene program? what was everyone’s stats? is it hard to get into? when do they say if you have an interview or got in?
Planning a girls weekend for late February. Where would you recommend for a group of girls in their mid 30’s to check out?
heyy im 23 M visiting the city for a couple weeks, what would you recommend to do here for fun and to meet new people?
This lasted over 30 minutes at least. I went outside to try and get a look, I could see 2 flashing police cars zooming through and 2 blocking one side. I heard a women shouting at the police "I don't know, the freak went that way" I could only see from across the pool so I wasn't really close enough to hear talking, I only heard that because she said it so loudly.
Freaky side story: I literally had a dream the night before that I went out on my patio at night because I heard allot of sirens and I saw a helicopter in the sky on fire with broken windows crashing towards me above the pool and a hospital bed was dangling out of it from a rope and the sheets were covered in blood.. 😬 and it was so strange because I almost never have memorable dreams!
I know that’s Allen. But any good gun shops or pawn shops that have a good selection?
Where is the best place to have fun around here?
Just moved here, what are some good places to eat at for burgers, sushi, pizza etc
Does anyone want to Bible study at a coffee shop, just moved to this area and looking for long term friendships (:
I'm buying a home in Painted Tree with Tri Pointe Homes. How is the quality of Tri Pointe homes in McKinney?
My boyfriend and I are 21 and we have no clue what there is to do around here!!! We want to meet new friends and have a good time 😁 any suggestions?
I'm considering renting at Luxia Craig Ranch but they have really bad reviews online. Anyone living here and can share their experience? Is the area safe and walkable at night? How bad is parking with the parking garage only on one side of the buildings?
For anyone who orders groceries, what’s been the most affordable method you’ve used for delivery?
Amazon prime has a $9.99/month delivery service but food here is typically more expensive than HEB and I’m not sure if they increase the cost of items for pick-up/delivery as well. Sprouts will sometimes offer free delivery in their app but similar situation, food can be more expensive. HEB charges as little as $7.95. Similar thing with Kroger. Then there’s DoorDash and Instacart which will increase prices of items from grocery stores. Then there’s misfit market but that feels like a heavier carbon footprint than shopping locally.
What’s everyone’s experience been? I’m in a busy season and need to save time but want to do it in the most efficient way possible.
Greetings, denizens of McKinney. I have an outside UHaul storage unit that needs to be junked. Are there any affordable mobile junk services you'd recommend?
We are really in need of more space but aren’t really finding much that fits our needs, which includes a decent lot size - for a budget we are happy with. Our current backyard and location is hard to give up when compared to the new builds that are on even smaller lots. We currently have a one story home and are considering building up.
Are there any recommendations for licensed contractors/companies that have experience with a second story addition? We would like to have initial discussions to understand potential costs and if it is a better decision for us than buying a different home. Ideally we can compare pros/cons of purchasing a larger home vs adding a second story.
I have been hearing a lot of sirens tonight, sounds like near McKinney Ranch/Hardin.
Looking for good places. I have pretty open taste when it comes to food.
Fast casual/counter service preferred, as I’m usually dining solo.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
I’m new to the area and am really looking for a trustworthy dealer to service an airbag light issue.
I bought a used F150 (not from a local dealer) and the dealership lied about the vehicle history (accident wasn’t reported to insurance and was bought at an auction). The airbag light has been on for months and my windshield wipers don’t dispense fluid but they work.
I’ve called the Bob Tomes in McKinney location for months and they say it’ll take 3-4 business days to run the diagnostic on the airbag and they have a waitlist for rental car 100+ people deep.. and that’s just for the diagnostic.
I’m open to all suggestions - definitely need a reliable mechanic here in the future but considering it’s an airbag, might be best to find a certified ford dealer for this one.
Hey guys. We got our closing date and are moving from NYC end of Feb. A few questions:
What is the process of getting our cars registered with Texas plates? Do you recommend we kick off this process online or do we need to go into a local DMV?
We have NY drivers licenses. What is the appointment process like and is there a preferred location we can go to streamline this process?
We have two insanely crazy toddler boys (2 and 4). Because of this, we cannot do normal things, normally. The task of getting groceries becomes a Herculean task with them! Trying to get some pro tips.
Thanks all!
