A1224981 Lunna
1 year 4 months
Spayed female
87 lbs
Negative for heartworms
Luna is a sweetie pie! She's a little shy at first but opens up and becomes playful and snuggly. She adores attention and petting and will scooch closer so you can get a better angle for scritching her ears. She walks well on the leash and knows both sit and shake. Come meet Lunna today!
Medical
Lunna was recently adopted and returned after experiencing bloody diarrhea and vomiting. Thankfully, parvo test was negative. Her fecal test revealed hookworms, so we started her on probiotics and a course of dewormer. Good news, that seemed to do the trick! She's eating and defecating normally now.
Playgroup Assessment
8/27: A bit timid, fitting better with the more gentle and reserved group of dogs. She would start to warm up to things and engage with the others more once feeling warmed up to things. PG 1 Social, Dainty/Gentle play style
10/3: Feeling more comfortable in the group, interacting with the dogs more and participating in gentle play with them too. PG 1 Social, Dainty/Gentle

Meet Beluga, a gentle and laid-back gal! At around 2 years old, this sweet pup tends to prefer the company of other mellow dogs. She can get a bit overwhelmed around high energy pals, but she's great at communicating when she needs some space. Beluga enjoys leashed walks and would love an adopter who appreciates her dainty and easygoing nature.
PLAYGROUP PG1 - SOCIAL DG - DAINTY & GENTLE On 9/18/24 A little overwhelmed with around the dogs higher in energy. Gives appropriate corrections when needing space from the other dogs. Fit in better with gentle and laid back dogs.
SHELTER OBSERVATION On 9/11/24 walks on leash On 9/27/24 showing some signs of kennel stress, pacing back and forth. On 9/28/24 Beluga is a friendly girl, uninterested in treats and toys but did appreciate some pets, she is SO soft!

Hi everyone,
Todd urgently needs our help! He’s secured an out-of-state adopter and is scheduled for transport tomorrow, but the transport team is worried about meeting their deadline. They’re asking if someone can temporarily pull him and hang out with him (roughly from 11am to 7pm at the latest) to ensure he doesn’t miss his 1:30 euthanasia deadline. If any Dallas friends can assist, it would mean the world. Please send me a message if you’re able to help.

Thank you!
These sweet freckled boy is looking for his forever home. He has a curly tail too, it’s so cute :) I spent some time with him in the yard to play, he is so playful and sweet. I love his freckles. He’s around a year old.
He’s currently at Dallas Animal Services and came in as a stray. Happy to send more info / help with transport / pull for anyone out of state.

Hi everyone, I wanted to update you about Simon, the dog I rescued to save from euthanasia. I was taking him to the vet for medical boarding, but as soon as I opened the car door, he bolted. I ran about 5 miles trying to catch him, and a kind woman even helped, but the more we chased him, the faster he ran.
Description of Simon:
Last Seen:
I’m going to call the shelter first thing in the morning, but if anyone in Dallas sees him, please reach out immediately. He’s very scared, and chasing him will only make him run farther.
I apologize to everyone who’s been following Simon’s story and want to make things right. Please do not pledge or donate until he’s found and safely back with the shelter / with me.
Please keep Simon in your thoughts, and thank you so much for your help.
URGENT: Simon Needs Help! Deadline 11 AM Tomorrow
Hey everyone,
I’m reaching out in hopes of getting some exposure for an amazing dog named Simon (A1226392). Simon is currently in a shelter and is facing euthanasia tomorrow morning at 11 AM if we can’t find a rescue or foster to step in.
Simon is an incredibly sweet boy who deserves a second chance. He’s struggling with some health issues right now, which makes it hard for me to pull him personally since I have two senior dogs with their own medical needs. However, I’m confident that if we can just get him an extension, I can find a rescue or foster willing to help him out.
The shelter is completely overcrowded, and I know it’s a tough time for everyone, but if anyone can foster or knows a rescue that can help, please let me know! Time is running out, and we need to act fast to save Simon.
I can assist with transport or pull for a committed foster / adopter. Would just have to transport immediately.
I have his full medical notes and can email / send them over directly.
Thank you so much for reading and for any help or shares. Every bit counts!
