Any leads on a bar serving lagers using a side pour or Lukr faucet? If not, I’ll take recs for a top flight pils. Necessary evil is solid and I like Celestial‘s offerings, but want to try a proper pour! Cheers!

I'm hanging at one of my favorite 3rd places, and a few guys just made me think that taster flights are either for folks who really don't know what to drink, or(snarkily) really don't want to commit.

I'll be in DFW for work this upcoming week, I'll be on the Ft Worth Side and Dallas side, but north the whole time. So McKinney down to Richardson and Ft Worth proper over to Southlake.

I've been wanting to try to nitrogenate an Irish red ale ever since I tried one in Ireland. I have a nitrogen infuser for nitro cold brew and thought I might try it on some red ale. Are there any breweries around DFW I could get a growler of red ale from? Thanks

I am apart of an online amateur league for a video game called "League of Legends". The league is called , "Beer League", so I think it'd be really cool to get a beer company to sponsor an upcoming tournament. A good friend and host of our East Dallas Brew club meetings has put together a homebrew comp in name and honor of the Labor on Love comps of the past. While the hobby may not be as big as its peak of events such as labor of love there are 18 brewers and 28 entries that will be served. Hoping to make this an annual event that grows and expands. On Rotation, Odd Muse, and Three Wide all took home silvers for their jalapeños saison, International-style pils, and brown ale, respectively. Bankhead also got bronze for their Bock. Well earned!

I have some family in town today and my mom is a huge pumpkin beer fan. I was hoping to take her to a local brewery that had a pumpkin beer on rotation. Any recommendations?

I’m going to be in town with a free afternoon tomorrow. I’d like to find a local brewery or bottle shop with taps that I can grab a bite to eat at and enjoy some good beers. I’m a fan of Belgians, sours, wheats, and the occasional New England IPA and stout. I hit Celestial when I was in town last month, and I’d like to find a new spot simply for variety. Did anyone see the Peticolas account on FB 8/27/24 trashing Yonder Brewing saying that their beer is what was wrong with the industry. It was a pastry stout or sour beer.

As you can imagine, it opened the flood gates and people started agreeing with their take and then trashing Peticolas for being too safe/criticizing them. Thoughts on Peticolas?

I'm a blogger located just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, and while most of my content is related to Ohio breweries and its craft brew scene I want to branch out a little. As a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan, I thought it might be fun to connect with some breweries that back the opponents on our schedule this season. This is where you all come in. Are there any breweries in the DFW area that you might think are more sports centric than others? Any that come to mind that scream, "this is my go to place on game day?"

I love the taprooms and the beer pubs and the amazing varieties of beer in the area. What about the wineries? There are plenty of local bottled wines, but are there any places I can get a half liter of wine and get pleasantly sloshed while watching the world go by?

I am fairly new to Texas, live in Cleburne, work in Ft Worth. I moved from NC. Most breweries there would brew a good variety of beers. Their stouts were oatmeal, or milk, but typically lower gravity. They would offer Imperials, as well, but not only Imperials. A lot of Texas brewers seem to just make Imperials. Everything seems to be 10% + abv. Why do Texas brewers do this? Is there any brewers in Texas that make lower abv stouts and porters?

My favorite brewery in NC is Duck Rabbit. They are then"dark" beer specialists. All their beers are dark, including their IPA. They, also, offer some higher gravity beers, but they run a successful operation with beers that have lower abv.

I don’t know if it’s a trend, and I don’t care, Celestial’s Ube Pina Colada is so good! They have other flavors I will be working my way through.
