Anyone know of a good place around DFW that sells beer advent boxes?
Any of the area breweries have zero or very low ABV beer? Tupps website says they have a couple of them. I live in McKinney.
Hey folks. Looking for somewhere that might be getting the D&D Dragons Milk limited release. All the 5-6 places I have called either don’t even carry Dragons Milk, or also have no idea what I’m talking about. Total Wine had it in their system but no info on when and where.
I’ve tried a couple craft beer stores in Dallas and no clue from them. Thanks!
Hello, I read the rules and I don't think this will be a violation.
I am apart of an online amateur league for a video game called "League of Legends". The league is called , "Beer League", so I think it'd be really cool to get a beer company to sponsor an upcoming tournament. I'm currently working on creating a 1-Day tournament between the existing teams for a prize pool of $500. Does anyone know of any small beer companies that might be interested in being our sponsor?
Players are all across the US, but we have a heavy concentration in Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin) and Minnesota (Minneapolis).
Hi all,
I'll be traveling to Dallas/Las Colinas from November 9-16th and would love to set up some trades while I'm there.

Does anyone know if any DFW/North Texas breweries are doing any special 12 packs of beer for Christmas/Holidays this year where each beer is different? Something like the below examples if any of you have seen:
-Clown Shoes 12 Days of Christmas -Shiner Home for the Holidays -Southern Star 12 Days of Krampus
Tupps DDH is making a comeback. Should be hitting the stores in a week or two. On sale in the taproom now, though.
A good friend and host of our East Dallas Brew club meetings has put together a homebrew comp in name and honor of the Labor on Love comps of the past. While the hobby may not be as big as its peak of events such as labor of love there are 18 brewers and 28 entries that will be served. Hoping to make this an annual event that grows and expands. Link below.
On Rotation, Odd Muse, and Three Wide all took home silvers for their jalapeños saison, International-style pils, and brown ale, respectively. Bankhead also got bronze for their Bock. Well earned!
I have some family in town today and my mom is a huge pumpkin beer fan. I was hoping to take her to a local brewery that had a pumpkin beer on rotation. Any recommendations?
I’m going to be in town with a free afternoon tomorrow. I’d like to find a local brewery or bottle shop with taps that I can grab a bite to eat at and enjoy some good beers. I’m a fan of Belgians, sours, wheats, and the occasional New England IPA and stout. I hit Celestial when I was in town last month, and I’d like to find a new spot simply for variety. Thanks in advance.
Finally made it over there and I was pleasantly surprised. Good brews, solid vibe. Seemed busy and everyone there was having a good time. They even brought over a flight size house root beer for my son to try and it was delicious. Was really looking forward to going back, maybe hitting up the food truck out front. Bummer.
Where da beer at??? It's 2 am n I needs it
Hi,
I'll be traveling to Dallas/Irving in November and would love to make some trades while I'm there.
Can anyone help me with an invite to a trading group? I have a spare suitcase which I'm planning to fill with lambic :)
*Edit
I'm planing to travel TO Dallas with a suitcase full of lambic :)
Awesome interview with Matt Morris from Three Wide Brewing and formally Rabbithole
Did anyone see the Peticolas account on FB 8/27/24 trashing Yonder Brewing saying that their beer is what was wrong with the industry. It was a pastry stout or sour beer.
As you can imagine, it opened the flood gates and people started agreeing with their take and then trashing Peticolas for being too safe/criticizing them. Thoughts on Peticolas?
I'm a blogger located just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, and while most of my content is related to Ohio breweries and its craft brew scene I want to branch out a little. As a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan, I thought it might be fun to connect with some breweries that back the opponents on our schedule this season. This is where you all come in. Are there any breweries in the DFW area that you might think are more sports centric than others? Any that come to mind that scream, "this is my go to place on game day?"
I appreciate the help in advance, thanks!
Quick edit: I'm not actually visiting the area but I am hoping to get some insight into which breweries would be more likely to engage in friendly interview about beer and football
I love the taprooms and the beer pubs and the amazing varieties of beer in the area. What about the wineries? There are plenty of local bottled wines, but are there any places I can get a half liter of wine and get pleasantly sloshed while watching the world go by?
I am fairly new to Texas, live in Cleburne, work in Ft Worth. I moved from NC. Most breweries there would brew a good variety of beers. Their stouts were oatmeal, or milk, but typically lower gravity. They would offer Imperials, as well, but not only Imperials. A lot of Texas brewers seem to just make Imperials. Everything seems to be 10% + abv. Why do Texas brewers do this? Is there any brewers in Texas that make lower abv stouts and porters?
My favorite brewery in NC is Duck Rabbit. They are then"dark" beer specialists. All their beers are dark, including their IPA. They, also, offer some higher gravity beers, but they run a successful operation with beers that have lower abv.
I don’t know if it’s a trend, and I don’t care, Celestial’s Ube Pina Colada is so good! They have other flavors I will be working my way through.
That’s it for my Saturday PSA.
Have fun and be safe friends!
Sad sad day. Wish someone had bought it out.
In need of a good beer store. Does Central Market have a decent create a 6 pack section? That is why I loved CBC. Every beer could be a single.
Just as the title says. Can i get rollertown beer at the waxahachie HEB?
I've been watching Inspector Morse and the Inspector loves Real Ale. I'd like to try some. Any recommendations for something that can be found in a FW store?
Did Wild Acre change the formula of their Texas Blonde when they got purchased? I was hoping that I just got a few bad cans directly after they were bought out, but I got some recently that was just as bad. The original blue bonnet can was a great blonde beer, but the new Orange and blue skinny cans taste terrible.
Can anyone else confirm this, or am I going crazy?
Hi everyone, I really love Jester King beers, especially the sour/tart beer and fruited ones. I am having trouble finding it in stores recently. Does anyone know where it is consistently stocked? Also, do any local breweries produce anything similar to jester king? I’m not really a fancy beer person, I just like those particular classes of beer. Thanks for any help!
Visited Dallas from Australia back in 2022 and made sure we hit up Celestial. Then I just found this in my local bar/beer store in Melbourne. Future Brewing is an awesome up and coming brewery from Sydney. Amazing collab and stoked to have something from Celestial in Aus!
