Q: Are memes allowed?
A: As long as the memes don't violate the above content policy, then yes. So a meme about traffic that seeks to make our struggles humorous is fine. A meme about a disliked politician visiting Dallas is not fine.
Q: Are photographs of Dallas ok? Plano? Fort Worth?
A: It's called /r/DALLASisawesome so Dallas photographs that don't violate our content policy are perfect. Photos of Plano, Frisco, Duncanville, etc.. are ok as well since they are in the Dallas area. Anything west of the Trinity (or DFW Airport) should not be posted here.
Q: Why a second Dallas subreddit?
A: This subreddit seeks to highlight only the positive news and information about Dallas and the surrounding metro area. /r/Dallas is great, but often times the negative information keeps the positive information from being seen. Hello everyone! Who remembers going to the old Chuck E Cheese’s/ showbiz pizza in Monfort Dr? On the corner of where the target is now at?
This location is extremely historic. It was the first to switch from a Showbiz to Chuck E. Cheese and also hold a very rare animatronic stage design by the Walt Disney company. “The awesome adventure machine” and also the first location to hold another Disney design stage. The studio c alpha, which would go on a Staple stage for future Chuck E. Cheese’s. If anybody had any pictures or videos the old monfort location, to either privately message me on Messenger or leave them in the comments. Thank you (Some key dates of pictures or video I would be extremely happy to see, 1989-1990 and 1996-1999) again thank y’all!

Dallas, I need your help finding a photographer
Hey y’all, I’m proposing to my lady at the end of this month at the Dallas Arboretum. I’m currently looking to hire a photographer for the event and was hoping somebody could help point me in the right direction! The date is flexible and I’m easy to work with. I’m looking for someone with experience shooting at the location and experience capturing proposals would be amazing.
