Alan Partridge : 'Sunday Bloody Sunday'. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!".
Aidan Walsh : I really hate to do this to you, Alan, but it's actually a song about...
Paul Tool : Yeah, Bloody Sunday is actually about a massacre in Derry in 1972.
Alan Partridge : A massacre? Ugh. I'm not playing that again.
this is a stupid question, but i had always assumed steve coogan wore aging makeup in the first incarnations of alan partridge and assumed he was meant to be 'middle aged'. But as steve coogan has aged he wears less of the ageing makup and alan partridge becomes the actual age of steve coogan.
So how old is alan partridge meant to be through the years... he seems to be perpetually 45... which is fine for a fictional character....I dont have a problem with it...
Wonder if he's still giving talks to 6th formers?
Oooh, i’d like to have it off with her
Snappy snaps
'Hell, I've even sniggered at an After-Eight mint, for their sheer pomposity'
What is the white thing on the bottom right?
It's obviously a microphone, then a peartree, then a partridge, then a...what?
Thanks :)
Wouldn't want to though.
Idea for a programme: Pear Tree Productions spin off show set before IAP series 1 and during KMKY era called ‘the pear doesn’t fall far from the tree’
One episode focused solely on the tutting guy whose battle with Tourette’s leads to some deep conversations across the office.
I think that’s possibly the worst idea i’ve ever had
Never heard of Anglian Lives before; very enjoyable.
Coogan was doing press this week, promoting his spot on Channel 4’s ‘Brian and Maggie’ and teased some new info on the upcoming show - including a change of title.
What was ‘And Did These Feet, with Alan Partridge’ has been rebadged as ‘Alan Partridge: How Are You?’.
Still no air date but sounds like it won’t be long:
“I'm not sure when it's out, it's soon-ish. It's called How Are You? and it's about the mental health of the nation. Very serious subject matter that he mangles," Steve let slip

Ok once, but I had already commenced foreplay when I realised I hadn't renewed my tax disc!
"... there's a boy's eye..."
Thinking this "Thomas Doherty" is definitely a pseudonym...
