What places are there on the Gold Coast that play techno close or where can i see the coming events? I cant find any places besides that club called elsewhere

I have a wide range of hobbies ranging from hiking, learning to surf, photography, board games, learning to skate and always keen to learn new hobbies too.

Hi all, I'm surprising my partner to a week long getaway to the Gold Coast. I have tentatively booked a self contained apt on Cavill Ave. However the Sebel in Coolangatta looks amazing and has a great deal at the moment. I have a 7yo and 5yo coming and we'll be doing most of the theme parks. Hiring a car. Anyway, question is...would Cooley be too far away for daily travels to theme parks etc and is it much of a sacrifice missing the vibes of Surfers etc? Help me decide please!

Humans of the Gold Coast. Specifically those who grew up here and still live here. What are the thoughts on your 'home' is it changing? So I'm looking at Spanish restaurants on the Gold Coast, and it really warms my heart to see so many options. I don't live near the Gold Coast, so I haven't been to any of these before (visiting the Gold Coast for a weekend soon). So I wanted to ask you guys who live on the Gold Coast (or at least visit very frequently), does anyone know any Spanish restaurants that actually have Spanish speaking staff? Or is it a Spanish speaking country only thing.

Currently only international flights to NZ or Bali (temp. flights to HK for Chinese new year)

I was in Bangkok trying to get home and flights were mostly sold out or over $2000, unless you wanted a 3 flight 33 hour journey for a bit less. I had to spend $2300 to get back just to Brisbane, followed by train and uber.

WTF, people are travalling in droves outside Aus. and a holiday destination like GC has basically only Bali direct access (NZ doesnt count ;)) We at least need direct flights to a transit hub like KL, singapore or Bangkok.

Theres been a few threads in the last year about the dire flight options for direct to/from OOL and the state of the GC airport costs.

Is there any good news on the horizon?

If the management of OOL are so bad, can't QLD gov. step in or something to improve things?

Who do I need to write an letter to about improving this?

Just wanting to know if there's any frenchie owners out there who have any tips or tricks to stop their dogs from barking, my girlfriend has one and she can't leave the house for no longer than 2 minutes cause he starts barking when she isn't with him, she's tried using a barking monitor and tried using calming drops and neither of them seem to work, she's pretty much tried most solutions and not having much luck.

Coming back from work today i saw bloody footprints all around where the westpac branch is in southport. I did not saw any ambulance or police there and the footprints were also of someone bare feet. They were all over the place and felt like maybe someone injured was running away. I tried to search that on google but nothing came up.
