Any cafes in the wollongong CBD offer this simple breakfast dish,

most places seem to offer eggs on sourdough, but i want bacon and eggs on good old white bread.

I'm looking for some scones to enjoy this weekend anywhere in the illawarra, I used to go to Yum cafe next to tonys to enjoy them but the menu and ownership has since changed.

The only two other locations I'm aware of now are Nadias in the mall (bad atmosphere for enjoying scones) and the woolshed (bit of a drive, seems to be only included in the high tea?)

Anyone got a suggestion on where to get some scones? doesn't even have to be the best in the illawarra at this point.

I’m starting work down in Wollongong and whilst living up in Sydney, it’s gonna be a pain in the ass with the long commutes morning and night each day.

I’ve been looking around at campsites and caravan parks for staying just weeknights but it’s the same, if not more expensive than just renting down there. I’m considering sleeping in my car during the week to avoid the long commutes.

What's going on Wollongong? How's the weather?

Was surprised to be charged 15% public holiday surcharge at an eatery yesterday. Edit; they don't normally charge Sunday surcharges and specifically mentioned it was PH surcharge when asked only

The public holiday standard in the Public Holidays Act 2010 provides that when Australia Day (26 January) falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there will be no public holiday on that day and instead the following Monday is to be the public holiday. So given that it specifically says 'no public holiday', I wanted to raise awareness next time this happens but also wonder if this is acceptable anyway? I mean businesses pay public holiday rates on Sunday 26 Jan as well or nah? Keen to hear thoughts.

Hey, yes I know I know...This question is asked SO much (sorry pls dont hate me chat) however I'm looking for good...actually not super popular Bushwalking/Urbex/Hiking spots in the Gong specifically closer to Bally/Corrimal/Tarrawanna or easily to access by bus from there. Also any recs for similar activities that'd be up my alley? , super bored this skl holidays n I like stuff like Urbex, Hiking, Bushwalking n also just walking around exploring like following creeks n stuff! (Just anything that's literally not the mall, also super into music n cars? They are impossible to meet with. They knock back your designs..they won't tell you what they want. What's wrong with thee clowns?

We will be progressing to land and environment court to get a resolution. Spent a fortune on planners and consultants who advise we comply.

Anyone else have similar experience with them?
