Dishonest unethical and downright useless

I have dealt with many real estate agents over the years and Ballarat Real Estate take the cake for being the most unethical, dishonest and downright useless agency I have had the displeasure of dealing with.
I am not the only one - numerous complaints with Consumer Affairs. Negligent with the management of properties in both Sales and Leasing. Arrogant and revengeful when called out for their unethical behaviour - avoid Ballarat Real Estate like the plague.

Hi All,

Im looking for pallets, i need around 24 to 30 of them so I can fence all my new fruit trees in so the sheep and goats dont get them.

If you know of anywhere where I can collect pallets for free I would really appreciate it.

Awesome Leather Jacket

About five years ago, I had an awesome brown leather Lee trucker jacket stolen from me at Faux Bar.

Can whoever took it please give it back? I need it. No harm done.

Thanks

Garage or house extension - Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Sensitivity and Heritage Overlay

Hi just wondering if anyone has purchased / owned a home where you added a garage or studio that has an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Sensitivity and Heritage Overlay. If so how was the experience? I’ll speak to council about the process too, but just wanted to hear also from those with experience.

The house I’m interested in… I was hoping to add a garage at the back of house continuing on from carport.

I understand if through digging anything is found works might have to stop for the Aboriginal cultural overlay, but do you need an expert to oversee project?

The light coming from Mars stadium at 1am...

Turns on and off all throughout the night. It's so delightful. Yes, I'm aware that I can close my curtains. So you don't have to tell me ❤️

Exhaust shop

Hi everyone, getting a car ready for roadworthy and due to my cars parts being obsolete I'll most likely need an exhaust fabricated that will pass, looking for any recommendations to an exhaust shop who can make a middle muffler fast and decently priced as I'll only be using it to pass the roadworthy. Thanks

McDonald’s Wendouree Music

Has anyone else noticed that the volume of the music in McDonald’s Wendouree is obnoxiously loud?

They have it on absolute BLAST in the playground. Asked if it could be turned down one morning, as went there with my preschooler who is a timid kind of kid and a sensitive to sound. The staff said they’d lost the control that allows them to change the volume.

Went in there today and there’s bizarrely loud music on in the cafe, competing against the music that the staff have blasting from behind the counter.

I’m not usually very sensitive to sound but the two competing against each other made me want to cut my ears off.

Also, for the love of god can they get a sharpener for the pencils in the kid area. Good on them for adding colouring and books for the little ones, but it’s been months of dull pencils!

PSA for stargazers: The Geminid Meteor shower happening this weekend!

I was fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of a bright meteor last night just outside Bacchus on my late drive home from work!

The shower will be best visible tonight/tomorrow morning at 4am, after the moon starts to set. But the shower is occurring from now all the way through to December 24.

Does anyone know Garth Healey (former owner of the mallow hotel, owner of compnay registered as “Kustomised enterprises”)?

Hey all Just wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of this person? I believe he is originally from the Avondale heights area of Melbourne.

Former owner of the mallow hotel (very briefly) - Walked out with no communication. Currently, owes staff wages and super and suppliers significant money, however, never opted for voluntary administration or insolvency.

Next step may be debt collectors or private investigator for this. Any advice anyone may have is greatly appreciate.

Thanks in advance.

Asking for my friend...

Single mum, hv a toddler and a small dog, looking to purchase property in Canadian, public school will be zoned to Canadian lead (no resource to go private), love to be close to nature walk and lake, main concern will be home safety and reputation for school

Would love to hear from local, any bad area or street to avoid? Any feedback for public school in that area?

Where’s the best place in and around Ballarat for a logbook service?

New to Ballarat and was just quoted a small fortune for major service from the dealership. The price quoted is just over a quarter of the cars value, so I was wanting to get a quote from a local mechanic. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Cheers

All things adult

The new adult toy shop in Delacombe opened on Monday. Has anyone been yet? Curious on people’s thoughts and what pricing is like. There’s not a lot about them online.

Nursing, studying and work in Ballarat

Hey there! I'm a healthcare assistant from Aotearoa/NZ and I'm going to be moving to Ballarat next year hopefully. Anyone here who's studying to be, or already is a nurse have any recommended institutions to study/work at?

I'm hoping to work in mental health as it is my central interest and passion. I already have experience in MH but not a nursing qualification - what's mental healthcare like in Ballarat? Any MH workers here care to share what their experience is like?

Black screen of death on SNES

I have my SNES from my childhood and I’m keen to play it again but I’ve got the black screen of death. I was wondering where I could get it cleaned because I don’t trust myself to take it apart and put it back together. I’ve had suggestions for GUF but is there anywhere else in Ballarat? Cheers
