Any place where I could use a Mac

Hi, I'm working on a project and I need a Mac or MacBook to code. Are there any public libraries or something similar where I could use a mac or MacBook for an extended amount of time?

Selling second hand furniture in bulk

Does anyone know any good second hand shops that will buy household furniture and pick up?

Looking to empty a house in a few months time and don't really want to sell items individually, would rather get rid in one go and happy not getting best price for that to happen.

They're continuing to rip the guts out of the old Tower Cinemas.

Spotted this power filtering and Dolby signal processing equipment through the window today.

Good places for coffee and cake in Newcastle/Lake Macquarie

G'day Newcastle. I'd welcome some recommendations of places that do good coffee and cake, and have a decent cafe vibe - the sort of place you'd linger for a second coffee and maybe read a newspaper. My go to is Goldbergs. Thanks.

Newcastle / sunderland

Guys I need help, I want to accomodate in Newcastle but my uni might be Sunderland(still waiting on acceptance) I was wondering if it’s worth it.

Based off like attendance and things of that nature, maybe even transportation for classes to Sunderland

I was already in Newcastle for like 2years and I love it there, had some issues with Newcastle uni and can’t be in Northumbria, so now I have to change unis but I like the north so I chose Sunderland, but I don’t know if staying in Sunderland has its advantages

I’m confused on what to do should I just forget about Newcastle and stay in Sunderland or do I stay in Newcastle? I don’t really know if it will be stressful but I love Newcastle and In a tough situation

Please help And p.s Newcastle is like I think 20 mins or 30 mins with a train to Sunderland.

Stockland glendale traffic jam

I recommend avoiding glendale shops atm. They have the carpark outside Target 🎯 converted to markets. It's very hard to find a park. You don't realise it's too late till you're stuck in it. Poor planning.

I am rarely go here, but was passing by. Not sure if this is a combo of bad weather plus markets, but I haven't seen it this bad since it first opened.

Hard to move around

Aisles no one can move, was in a sports shop Anaconda and the people were all highly frustrated because no one could move

Why do companies do this and make it extremely hard to get around and even see the place

Legitimate Car Scrap Dealers?

Hey all,

Im looking into selling my old car for scrap due to the condition its in.

I have been looking at some companies within Newcastle but alot of them seem to give off either scam or criminal vibes when looking at their websites and reading reviews.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with any Newcastle companies and could make a recommendation for me?

Thanks in advance!

Anyone in Port Stephens?

We're moving to Newcastle in October, my partner will be working in Newy as a nurse so we're looking at places to live. I really like the look of Port Stephens, can anyone tell me what its like? We're early 40s, not big drinkers, we love a good coffee place and I'm into fitness (circus arts predominantly). Got a 7yr old and two dogs. Would love to live near the beach but happy to go inland as well. We'll be renting, not buying and we don't need a big place. Thanks guys!

Being new still to single life. I was at jeso woolies around 8:30-9pm. A chick started full checking me out. I picked the runaway option. Because I'm crap at social what are you meant to do? She made it obvious. Random experience.

What’s working as a vet nurse in the area like?

I hate people and love animals. I can’t do uni but have succeeded at TAFE in the past. I can imagine it would be heartbreaking and exhausting, but surely it’s also rewarding and worthwhile to help where you can?

My cat is currently at the vet with pancreatitis and I wish I could do more than visit her on my lunch break. She might not make it.

I’ve been thinking about doing vet nursing for a little while, I’m not ready to commit, I’d like to hear opinions about what it’s like in the area. How is the study? How are the wages? What do your hours look like? How are office politics? How is your mental health? I’m 27 and deeply unsatisfied in my “career” and trying to find something fulfilling. This feels worthwhile. Like I could make a difference.

Really what I’d love to do full time is rescue cats, foster, trap and release etc but unfortunately I need to make a living. Perhaps if I were a vet nurse I’d be better equipped for cat rescue in my free time.

Maybe I’m naive and idealistic but… especially now with my own baby so sick I want to do more to help animals.

Used CD's

I'm trying to chase reasonably priced (think nomore than $5 a cd) of old 90's, looking for Marilyn Manson, Korn and Rammstein. Local OP shops don't stock this flavour lol

Is this the premium for vintage?

I don't have Bluetooth or Spotify, I'm too old school lol

Chinese Roast Duck for Peking Duck

Where can I buy whole roasted Chinese duck in Newcastle. I like assembling my own Peking duck but it seems a rare commodity here?
