Hey guys I have a friend who isn’t doing too well.
I’m trying to get him help. Just wondering if the Mater or John Hunter would be better in terms of help for mental health related issues?
Thank you.
I have a friend who operates a farmers market stall every Saturday morning, they operate a G Free donuts stall (I’m sure you’ve all seen the brand it’s all in green with the big signs), they claim to have bought everything for 20 thousand and now are telling people they are making upwards of $900 on a good day working for a couple hours on a Saturday morning. I want to know if you guys think this is true or how reliable it is. This all seems way to good to be true and I understand there selling a predetermined product to and already established customer base I’m just not sure I believe them. Any insight or opinions would be great.
I don’t care what I have to do I just simply want to try and make as much money as possible, my grades in school are fine nothing amazing but I don’t need to spend time outside of school working on them, I have a lot of free time and simply what to receive guidance or work with someone on how to make as much money as possible at 16.
Bolton st Saturday night 1/2/2025
Hey everyone
For those who are curious, there was a fire in an apartment building spanning Bolton and Newcommen st that started around 8.30pm.
I live in the building so felt comfortable updating reddit
Anyone else here like 8 loud bangs back to back around south’s in merewether @ 10:40 pm?
Looks like somewhere near Bolton and Hunter St. One unit is fully engulfed. Things are going pop inside.
Plenty of sirens and can smell smoke. Anyone know of a fire in the city?
My own lawnmower is out of action after I ran over what I think was a tire lever on a job I did a few nights ago. Without my mower I won't be able to attend an upcoming event at Braye Park. Your mower will be returned with a full tank of fuel and the catcher cleaned of grass clippings.
Haven't bought liver since Le's butcher in mayfield closed, any good suggestions for other options?
Hi. I’m looking for some fun dancing classes to do in Newcastle/ Lake Mac. I’m not a good dancer by any means but just wanting to have some fun and exercise at the same time. Any suggestions for a place that will welcome a range of abilities and ages?
At about 11pm, on this one radio station (not sure which one), it plays some weird sounds and really odd atmospheric techno music merged with the strange sounds??? Someone please tell me I'm not going crazy
You are all invited.

Hi guys, have lost my papa. Last seen mowing the lawn on Hamilton next to a bob Jane at 11:45. Anyone seen him lately?
Hi all, Was just wondering if anyone has some reccomendations of where to look for weddings under or around 20k in either Newcastle / hunter valley.
having roughly 100 people and happy to diy what I can and don’t need all the bells any whistles. Google isn’t being much help, so wondering if there’s a unicorn of a place where this can happen ? Looking to get married in 2026
I just had the greatest oat milk flat white of my life. And it was at One Penny Black. With the exceptional quality of the coffee, friendly staff and cozy, rustic vibe with a modern touch that a cafe should have, I cannot recommend this place any more.
That’s all. Thanks,
Friend
This is just desperate attention seeking man 😭😭 Yes block everyones view of important information/times for ur insanely lazy ugly scribble
Hey all, first time poster, long time lurker & while I actually don't live here, I'm here nightly on FIFO & I'm wondering if someone might be able to help.
Enlisted in the BLNI for the last few years and we've been targeting abandoned buildings as part of our investigation.
Regularly being rostered air duties, I've witnessed many squads of sirened vehicles travelling rapidly in many directions, though last night from my chopper seat vantage point, we spotted some strange activities.
For the life of me and my team, we just can't work this one out.
From one side, we could see a strange, small orange reflection coming from some long grass, in a male(ish) form wearing what resembled 4 year old Peter Alexander Christmas attire, whilst across the road, there appeared to be the makings of a significant crop circle, although the crop message was quite convoluted & was being created in fits & starts.
As the noise was whiring, rather than loud, the BLNI team were quickly dispatched elsewhere.
Any ideas?
Going to cut my neighbours grass if you know what I mean (literally).
Anyone else smell a strong scent of burning plastic in the air around Hamilton/Beaumont street?
I just read on Newcastle Weekly that the restoration plans for Tower Cinemad are delayed with no other info. Does anyone know anything?
So I own this abandoned building in Hamo next to the bob jane t mart and I've been subletting the drain to this top-shelf dude. Have been away for work for the last few days and hired someone to mow out the front so it looked shmick when I got back. Check reddit and see there's someone been filming and criticising the mower guy I hired, and then someone squatting in my place as well?? Wtaf??? I paid good meth for that lawn job and don't need people putting his work down. Lay off, jesus christ
Considering purchasing a primary place of residence in Warrabrook. A few places advertised there recently are fairly "cheap", the blocks are generally larger and flat, it's relatively close to the CBD and connected to public transport. Is it a good area to live for families? Are there any other pros or cons that anyone can share? Thanks
Just drove up to Newcastle from Sydney this morning to go to an inspection for a second holiday house by the beach. Stopped in at the maccas on king street to get a 50cent cone for me and my husband.
We didn't last more than 30 seconds in there, one of the most disgusting environments I've been to in my life. I bunch of teens started harassing us hurling homophobic and racist remarks at us (We are a gay, asian couple). Then some junkies started to join in, we got out of there asap and drove straight home, my husband was in tears.
