Anyone know of some casual football clubs that just get together and play casual games ? Not looking at joining an official club , played my whole life until the last few years just looking to have some fun with it again .
thanks
It might seem pretty random but I'm really interested in learning to backflip but I've rang like 3 different places and they don't offer lessons on just backflipping in particular, and I was thinking of just teaching myself but I don't wanna get hurt. Anyone know of a place?
I really miss flipout :(

Does anyone use their service and if you have any reviews?
I’m thinking of a sea change and considering the top end, I’ve visited a few times previously and quite liked it. For context, I’ve lived and worked up and down the QLD coast from Cairns to Brisbane. I’ve primarily worked in the public sector for government departments at all levels in a variety of capacities. I would probably rent before considering to buy if I decide to stay longer.
Is there any advice for me from others that may have made a similar move? Or Darwin locals on job and housing prospects?
Cheers, would appreciate any thoughts
Is it just me or are there heaps of people off on sick leave. Is this happening in your workplace too?
I was just talking to my mother-inlaw and she said she absolutely hates the statute, because it does not represent cyclone Tracey in anyway. She says the statute doesn't represent the pain that everyone had to go through especially her when she was 9. I think the statue is fine, but I don't think it's the best description for the event. So, I want to hear everyone else's opinions on how they feel about the statue.
I went to the commemoration this morning at the Ski Club, which I would describe as being poorly attended. Protests out the front. No Lord Mayor. PM cancels a visit. I can see headlines in the NT News but don't subscribe so can't read them.
Is it purely about the sculpture or is there more at play?
I've become fascinated with Darwin, despite never having been there. Are there any movies or TV shows set in the area that show the city in a decent light? I don't necessarily need social realism, I'm mostly just curious what it looks like. So far, I've found a number of things set in the Northern Territory, but mostly in the interior. I know that the next season of Deadloch will be set in Darwin, but I'm impatient. Are there any set in the city of Darwin and its surroundings?
Thanks!
Hello friends! Anyone up for a drink/coffee with a 30 month (and counting) solo traveler?
I just arrived in Darwin after hopping around Asia -- Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong -- for a bit and looking to hang out for a week while I catch up on writing a few chapters of my book. I've heard Darwin has the friendliest people in all of Australia, so I'm looking forward to putting that to the test!
Let me know if you want to grab a coffee or a drink and chat about life -- travel, photography, food, books, games, whatever floats your boat. 40m American, not looking for dates/hookups. <3
You can check out my ig at https://www.instagram.com/micarinjapan/ if you want to make sure I'm not an axe murderer -- I pretty much only do stories, not posts.
I’m coming to Darwin for my 30th and I’d love to stay somewhere with an outdoor jacuzzi or tub, ideally overlooking the ocean. Can anyone please recommend a nice place to stay? Proximity to the markets and restaurants is a bonus!
Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere that does a Christmas Day lunch buffet? We used to go to Lake Bennett resort but that’s now closed, would prefer something low key and not hectic in the rural area/Palmerston if possible
Hit me with your recommendations 😊

Hi Everyone,
I am thinking of taking a road trip from Darwin to Mildura. I am not in a hurry and have plenty of time to stop along the way. I will be driving a Toyota Aurion with my dog so dog-friendly accomodation and places to see would be perfect.
Thank you.
Considering the $5.5k solar battery discount, is a solar battery a good investment at the moment?
We are moving out. I’ve organised movers just looking for bond cleaners. Can anyone recommended reputable cleaners.
Politicians being corrupt is not a new thing but these things should count as treason. Thoughts ?
Do you guys have any suggestions on where to buy framed Darwin photography? Looking for a farewell gift for my housemate. Older male so thinking that's what old people like.

I wanted to sell a pair of shoes and have them listed in the FB marketplace. But there's no response at all. Is there any other place I can sell my shoes?
I live in a flat and have received a notification from PowerWater that they need "access" to upgrade my meter.
The notification (see image below) doesn't specify if they just need access to the block of flats or to my flat itself. I have breaker box in my spare room but nothing like a meter inside my flat. I assume that because I have never had anyone come inside my flat to read a meter, that the upgrade won't happen inside my flat, but I want to be sure.
Does anyone know what specific access the contractors need for the upgrade? image of notification
Hi everyone, we just moved to Darwin and I am not clear about parking in the Darwin city. Yesterday I parked in Zone B and noticed that I have to select my parking time since I parked. I thought it should be before I left. Sometimes we may not know how long we will park. So, here are my questions.
Your advice and suggestions are appreciated.
Hey all,
Looking at getting a deck extension, wondering if anyone has had some good experiences with builders up here?
Thanks!
Hi, does anyone have recommendations for a conveyancer in Darwin. I am buying a residential unit for the first time and won't be available in person as away for work at the moment. Thanks!
