Crash bandicoot 4 or Hogwarts Legacy
Very weird question but I'm curious. Games like FFVII, Alan wake, Plague tale, Ratchet and Clank and now even spiderman all have sequels that are on the PS5. These are games I'm interested in, both the sequels and the originals.
As someone who just owns a PS4 and can't play these games' sequels, would you still play the original entries knowing you're leaving part of the story unfinished?
Of course, there are times when you have to wait years for a sequel to come out but these games already have sequels out so this is a different story.
I hate leaving stories unfinished. I was in the middle of my FFVII playthrough (very early in) when Rebirth was announced and I found out it won't be on PS5 and I kinda lost interest in the original, knowing I won't be able to continue the story.
Typing this out, I definitely understand it's weird to not play a game because you can't play the sequel but still I'm curious on your thoughts.

I am 35 with 2 kids and get around 45 minutes a week that I can play, and I saw a trailer or 2 from astroneer, and thought it was similar to AstroBot. At the end of the day, just looking for something light that I can decompress with that doesn’t need to know intricate crafting details like some other games. Any insight is always appreciated
Edit: is it worth the $9.99 right now on the ps store with the amount/quality of gameplay I have available?
I already have the Soul Reaver 1 and 2 saved in my wish list, but did not see a thing about Blood Omen 1 and 2 yet.

Edit: dad is definitely interested in a flight simulator game of sorts, he had a Combat Flight Simulator game for the PC back in the early 00's that he still talks about since he enjoyed it so much. Mom is definitely open to the idea of laid back games that aren't high pressure
Hey guys so I'm entertaining the idea of getting a PS4 for my parents so they can engage in something other than crappy iPad games and the news. They like puzzle games and other mind exercises. What are some potential game recommendations for them? I was thinking of getting the Atari Throwback games to start with. Would love to hear what you guys have to offer before buying anything. Thank you!
