I'm looking to watch someone play the game but none of the big names (JackSepticeye, PewDiePie etc.) has any playthroughs.. Any suggestions?
I already had the disk from when the game first came out, and I’ve been playing it again so I wanted to buy the dlc stuff. So I bought the “bundle” and now it’s downloading the ps5 version. And I made sure I bought the ps5 disk upgrade so idk
This no armor, no charms, no abilities (except roll) no upgrades run has been genuinely extremely fun I highly recommend it. I've beaten the entire game plus Kojiro, the Eagle is the true test.
With the sequel announced earlier this year, I’m thinking about picking up the PC version of the game and playing through it again. Has anybody played the PC version and if so, how is it? Also I remember hearing about the cutscenes being at 1080p, is there any fix or mods that change the resolution of the cutscenes to make them not stand out as much? Would you recommend the PC version?
I just picked up this game having heard so much about it.
Quick background: I play games for fun, not in order to have to replay every single stage fifty times to continue with the game. I always play games on the easiest mode first, at least until I've got used to them.
I am regularly being completely and utterly annihilated by ordinary enemies. On the easiest mode. I'm at a very early stage (where you travel to Yuna to free her cousin or whatever), and even the regular encounters have a 75 per cent chance of me being killed over and over and over and over and over again.
Is there any point whatsoever in continuing, or should I save myself the rage and frustration and quit now?
Update: Thanks for the mostly useful answers. I think my issue was that I expected easy mode to be easy as I define "easy", and it's not. But I'll keep at it, I can see how it would be more fun as you get more skill. Having said that, it really seems to be abusing the word "easy" when you have four swordsmen, three spearmen, and two archers, all attacking you at one. That's not easy, that's just sadism on the part of the programmers.

Guys how long did it take y’all to get to lvl 120 legends mode?😭 I’m level 110.
I wanted to get some items i couldn’t get without the grappling hook. As soon as I got it, before actually doing the “Iron Hook” quest, I ran to Ariake Lighthouse to get the headband on top of it. However O can’t actually pick up the headband. It says R2 but doesn’t do anything. It’s also not in my inventory already. I went to 3 other places with vanity items only accessible by the grappling hook but when i grapple up there it won’t let me grab them. Is there a way to fix this?
As per video attached, the R2 button when pressed too rapidly prevents subsequent presses being registered.
I can consistently replicate this behaviour if I tap R2 at just the right frequency, so I think it is written code (deliberate or not idk) rather than a random error or bug. The "cool off period" before you can use R2 again is also very consistent at around half a sec. It is likely due to sharing R2 with loot function as comments on that second link say (nothing to do with if loot is around though). Some dude swapped to left handed (swapped LT/RT around) and the issue was still the same but on LT button, so seems to be because the multiple functions are conflicting rather than the R2 button specifically. Wondering if anyone knows of a fix?
I just hit the ten hour mark on my first time playing. I've got stone and water stance unlocked only so far with about half my points in ghost, three in samurai and two in stances. I've just started encountering blue themed Mongols and have very few problems with anything but the spearmen.
The blue ones have a little parry shield on the left hand which cancels all quick attacks. And for whatever reason, it takes me ages to stagger break them and I'm basically dead by that point due to the absolute bonkers timing for parries and Jin's sad little hops he does. Even the roll gets me killed with how these bastards slide across the ground while attacking.
Hot damn these spearmen are no joke and I can't figure out the best combo for them yet. The stone stance heavy combo is getting me about 50/50 with success rate so far. Ugh these bastards!
I am a ps4 player, and I have really been interested in Ghost of Tsushima or Spider-Man 2018. I really enjoyed Spider-Man Miles Morales and also Red Dead Redemption 2. But now I have been looking into both of those games. The problem is if my parents see this M17+ on Ghost of Tsushima, low chance they would buy it for me. Can someone tell me which one I would enjoy more? I should maybe include some restrictions: Good graphics Not very repetitive Not rushed Immersive Touches the heart Those are my restrictions, so can someone tell me which is the better game for me?
Edit: I decided that I will show both games to my parents, and let them choose for me, because honestly, I would be happy with both anyways, so I would not really be saddened by a certain decision.
Anyone on here playing Legends Mode on PS5? I’m looking for folks to play with and help me out. I’d rather not play with random online players. I’m trying to get 100% completion for GoT. Send me a friend request if you’re willing to connect.
PSN ID: The_Olde_Man
Thanks!
I’m almost done completing everything and want to do my second playthrough on Lethal.
I’ve been playing mostly medium since the start, just switched to hard mode when I finally got my sword fully upgraded.
I’ll admit, I get hit quite a bit in duels / if I run out of my preferred tools in big fights. The only setup I’ve been using is Ghost Armor since I got it, with Nekomas Hunt and Versatile Skills majors > Inaris Might, Silence, Deadly & Fortunate return minors. I’m a bit of a smoke bomb and kunai abuser.
With that said, my question is what are good setups for pure fighting on Lethal, knowing I’m likely going to fail parry’s like it’s my job? Or is my setup fine if I’m willing to beat my head against the wall on duels?

This is my second playthru — I remember back when I first played it (week of release) I could change which shoulder the camera was focused over … but now I can’t seem to find it?
Jin is on the left side of my screen by I really want him on the right side; it’s driving me nuts.
I went through the Options menus and I can’t find it!!!
Please help. Thanks everyone.
This game is so good. The story cutscenes are powerful and full of emotion. I just wanna explore every inch of the map.
I upgraded to the ps5 edition the other day and I'm noticing much more fluid animations. is it a feature or placebo? no one else talked about this
woopsy daisy
In Act III, did you choose the same horse you chose in the beginning of the game? For me I chose a different horse with a different name. Because my Kage's just irreplaceable. I got to love my new horse later, especially on Iki Island. Now I love them both almost equally, although Kage (my first horse) will always be special. (I know it's not "that deep", I just like to role-play in RPGs lol)
