Wow, just wow. The last 5 chapters ALONE were a mindfuck. I put together that Peter Elnglehart was Higgins! I do regret not doing the last Pizza, I hope I get to play it again tho. The whole thing with Amelie and the president not existing, just πππ cinema. Absolutely fucking brilliant. Tell me, what did yβall think?
Out of curiosity, who takes every advantage of orders and lost cargo that they can? Trying to get as many stars as possible, so far have 2
Iβve got everyone 5 stars so far except for Peter. I guess I got ahead of myself and tried starting a zip from the distro in the mountains to mountain Knot but itβs just not really working for me. I have all the bandwidth saved up just not sure when I should begin this place. Thanks!
Recently I've been in the southern areas of the Central Region, and more than a few times now I've placed my BB into Autotoxemia by accident, whether it be through passing through BT areas or having to kill a MULE to defend myself.
I was wondering what tactics or tips people have who've had to navigate BT rich areas or places where they'd otherwise make use of their BB without being able to detect anything.
Hello,
i have the epic games version of the game and i just started my first playtrough, but the game feels very choppy even at 120fps while running or while Panning the camera.
The Nvidia stats and rtss shows solid 120fps but while paning the camera for example its still feels a little bit choppy.
This issue is persistent in all setting from the lowest to the higest from 1080p to 4k dlss on or off it doesnt change anything.
I tried many things:
gsync on/off, vsync on/off, caping fps, Changing windows refresh rate, uninstalled the game and installed again, reinstalled the drivers nothing did help.
Game is installed in an nvme ssd.
I have never had this type of problems on any game before
Pc config :
Rtx 4070 super
Ryzen 5 5700
32gb ram
Thanks for your help
Thatβs it. I spent the last 5 hours farming mules for resources and building roads, also used a lot of my own. I hope I help some other players out there, I guess Iβm hooked. Anyway, keep on keeping on.
Had no idea it could climb walls, thought it was stuck . Bloody cosplayer and his shitty entrance....
While on the rare mineral delivery in the beginning I was surprised to see sudden βenemiesβ that ran after me without warning. The only way away from them is up the mountain, my god do they run fast.
I reach the cliff and panic as they get closer by the second. I send a rope down but it wasnβt long enough, about 15-20 meters to go below me, I let goβ¦
The fall hurts, two cases scatter from my back, the poor BB cries, but I remain thankful while I soothe him as we are now safe.
On a Platinum run and after beating the whole game on hard found out thereβs a very hard mode which is why I didnβt get any LLL deliveries. Right now I have 19 unique LLLs and I, for the life of me, canβt or donβt know how to find just one more unique LLL delivery so I can complete this trophy.
Is there anything on the map or something that can help me find a unique LLL delivery that Iβve never done? Instead of doing RANDOM LLLs and it not counting for the trophy π
I watched the old DS2 trailers a few minutes ago and something occurred to me. Despite the footage showing BB looking dead after Fragile's "unicycle thing" wreck, I realized something. I have no reason to believe that BB would necessarily die a traditional human death if her body were damaged beyond repair. I have seen Sam's mangled corpse more than once and he was fine after repatriation. BB being able to repatriate seems a logical route Kojima might choose. After pondering that, for a moment, I asked myself why I thought BB might have that capability. Well, Sam had a wife who was pregnant with his child. After she learned of the circumstances surrounding Sam's birth she completely broke down and deleted herself. The official story is that since Sam was away delivering packages, her body remained undiscovered and caused a void out (I believe the first one)., but... What if her body was actually discovered by Bridges before the void out? What if she chose a method that resulted in massive damage to her frontal lobe and upper/outer areas? Our autonomous functions are buried within the hypothalamus, which is one of the most well-protected parts of the brain, and it isn't uncommon for a victim with a gunshot to the head to remain alive in a vegetative state; the perfect vessel for a bridge baby. Since bridge babies have always been destroyed after a few years in the past we have no idea how long Lou could have survived in the pod and if she would have ever grown. I find it believable that a bridge baby wouldn't appear to age due to a lack of the growth hormones required for growth so BB could have been a 20-year old fetus in DS1. If I believe these things could be true then the next logical conclusion is that there is no reason BB couldn't be Sam's actual daughter. How? After his wife deletes herself Bridges steps in. They understand Sam's value (DOOMS) and feel there is a chance that BB could also have DOOMS, perhaps even a more powerful variant than what Sam suffers from. Realizing they needed to act fast, they hooked baby and mom up to the pods to keep BB alive and then kept all of this very close to the chest.
This scenario has some serious implications though. If Bridges found Sam's wife before she went necro, what caused that void out? Did they substitute another body and let the void out occur simply to substantiate the story they wanted to tell Sam or to the public at large? A false flag of sorts ( to what end I have no idea). Bridgette was certainly capable of making decisions that most folks would consider monstrous so I see no reason this might not be the direction Kojima might be going with the story.
Any thoughts? Are there any morsels of knowledge that can throw a wrench in this theory? Something I might be missing?
On a more serious note. I was very surprised to see those jellyfish so did some googiling. I tried to avoid spoilers but it seems they are pretty much chiralium farms. Is there more to them?
Had a seller ghost me, trying to track this one down if possible. Need it for my work setup.
I wish in the post game / after-game open world, that you would be able to potentially rebuild places! like the ruins behind the craftsman or where Mama lived (just outside South knot). would've been a cool addition to the game! even if it was added in the directors cut later.
if there's anything y'all could have added / tweaked in the post game, what would it have been?
Got these little guys in the mail today!
So like, what, Sam's Mario and Amelie's Princess Peach?
Talk about a 4th wall break, huh
i didnβt quite understand the point of having Kojima only as a presenter, when itβs not even he himself who speaks, but his translator. He might as well have just participated in the TGA remotely via video lol
I was introduced to the game in 2020, at the peak of the pandemic, by 2 friends of mine. Like many people I gave up on the game a few times, just after few hours of gameplay.
They told me to keep going. I had never expected to get so emotionally involved and attached to this masterpiece. I am obsessed, even today.
I played twice on steam, the original and directors cut, and I played once, the complete game on my iPhone 15 Pro max, just to see how the experience was.
As time goes on my understanding of the game gets deeper and deeper every time. And I am sure all of you, feel the same. I wrote a few words to express how I feel, as best as I can.
So here it goes.

In the haunting expanse of Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima crafts a mirror to our deepest fears of solitude. Picture yourself trudging through rain that ages everything it touches, each droplet a ticking clock against your skin. The landscape stretches before you like a funeral shroud β endless mountains and valleys carved by an apocalypse that didn't just end the world, it fundamentally broke the boundaries between life and death.
The earth itself seems to breathe with melancholy. Cities, once proud monuments to human achievement, now stand as skeletal remnants, their empty windows staring like hollow eyes into a gray infinity. Yet within this crushing desolation, threads of hope glimmer like gossamer in twilight. Every footprint you leave might connect to another player's journey, invisible hands reaching across the void to help lift a fellow traveler's burden.
Death isn't just an end here β it's a state of being that bleeds into our reality. The Beach, a liminal space between existence and oblivion, shimmers with golden sand under perpetually darkened skies. Spectral creatures, born from humanity's collective grief, prowl the wasteland, their umbilical cords trailing like twisted memories into an upside-down world of tar and regret.
Through this nightmarish beauty, you forge ahead as Sam Porter Bridges, each delivery more than mere cargo β it's a lifeline, a promise, a desperate reach toward reconnection. The weight on your back isn't just physical; it's the burden of rebuilding hope in a world where simply existing has become an act of defiance. Every successful connection, every bridge built, every ladder left behind becomes a quiet rebellion against the suffocating loneliness that threatens to swallow humanity whole.
In Death Stranding, even the simplest actions β keeping your balance on treacherous terrain, protecting your cargo from the corrupting timefall, cradling a baby in a pod that bridges dimensions β become profound metaphors for human perseverance. It's a game that makes you feel the weight of existence in your bones, while whispering that even in our most isolated moments, invisible strands connect us all in ways we can barely comprehend.

I have posted this on my threads account and eventually I will post on my blog. But I am not going to leave any links here. This is just for this wonderful community.
Keep on keeping on.
