God of War is a third person action-adventure video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. God of War won Game of the Year 2018.

I’m on my first complete playthrough of the first game, and these two valkyries are crazy difficult. I beat arena 6 today but the final one is mopping my ass.

Decided to also do a Mike Mignola style drawing for God of War (2018). It feels right to have drawn both versions.

I am on Gmgow difficulty and even if I wasn't. It's gameplay is a 5/10 and side content is a 4/10 for combat. It could be that I was over leveled but Baldur was a bit of a let down for a fight and felt more like empty eye candy than a fight between gods.

While main content would be a 6/10 for the combat but gets restrictive when wanting to swapping in mid combos so a 5/10 maybe even 3/10 since it's heavily restrictive and slow. The story is good but obviously that's the whole meat of the entire game which is fine, nothing wrong with story. But the game suffers a lot with lacking of smooth combos exhanging if you want to swap between blades to axe during combat in mid combos and for side content it shows it's weakness a lot especially in Valkyries boss fights. So overall the game is a good 5/10 to 6/10. I wouldn't exactly recommend it as a game for it's gameplay but they could of done better on the weapon exhange that would expand the combos once choas blades were unlocked between the 3 weapona: sheild, axe and blades would of been nice.

Overall experience is a 5/10 not bad but not good.

So I think I might have started violence on Ragnarok, I am currently using The black bear armor chest with radiance wrist and waist, now here is my problem I need a build to fight against Gna for the 7th time do anyone of you have a good enchantment set up?

After Ragnarok came to PC I decided to play every GoW game available, and after playing 1, 2, Chains and Ghost, I find that I have to keep pressing "X" for really long times because the EXP doesn't flow fast at all, it's always flowing at the initial speed, it doesn't accelerate like in the rest of the games. Except sometimes it kinda accelerates and then slows down again.

In my desperation I started testing different ways to press X and realized that if I press it with varying amounts of force without releasing it, like if pumping it, it does start to accelerate and I'm able to upgrade the weapons in one go, but it is so strange. Is this really a game mechanic or I'm going insane?

I mean, I'm not even using a Dualshock, I'm using a Dualsense and those are not supposed to have pressure sensitive face buttons, no?

i'm playing the segment where thor and atreus go to muspelheim, and MAN, the way Thor just demolishes a wall of rocks, phases through lava and essentially flies?! holy shit. idk about y'all, but I want a game with this version of thor

So I basically play the game. And wonder, Kratos who have big ego, did let his brothet scold him without resistance. And ask his brother help. Are they equal in terms of strength

After god of war 3, it showed how Kratos left and the blade of Olympus was left behind.However in Ragnarök you can still use the blade as a weapon.Did Kratos actually keep the blade of Olympus or did he leave it behind?

Don’t get me wrong it doesn’t measure up to the rest of the series but I’ve been playing it recently and idk I’m having a good time? Like if you don’t keep your expectations too high it can be kinda fun

Started god of war a while ago and noticed i receive enchantments on crates should i need to activate or anything because i cant find them

I found it odd that even in idle chat, there's never a mention of his dead family when Atreus is around. The only exception is Kratos telling Freya about how his wife and daughter died but even then never mentioned that his skin and red mark are from him deceased family.

Just seems wierd to me and kind of messed up that you wouldn't tell your son, the only family you have left, that you had a family at another point.

So i have the GoW Ragnarok PS4 disc. I played it on my ps5 and it seems its already running 60fps on performance mode. Now what am i missing if i don't spend $10 on the upgrade?
