I have ps5 with psvr1 and i want play gt7 . Can i play with vr this game or am i need psvr2 ?
I’ve seen ads for coating agents that you just wipe on to stop motorcycle helmet visors, car windshields and prescription glasses from fogging up on the inside and was wondering if anybody’s tried using it on vr lenses before.
Is it safe to use on psvr2 lenses? Has anyone tried it?
Thanks in advance!
Hey guys - just got my PC Adapter - but i cannot find the PSVR2 App in the Steam Store - nor anywhere else to download it?!
Anyone with the same problems?
Anyone else encountered an issue where the sound cuts out in RE4 while using headphone?
Hi there,
i wanted to put my PSVR2 on my PC and bought the adapter. There i can ready in perfect german guidelines: Please install Steam VR (Check) and then please install PlaystationVR2 App - This app is not available in germany but a friend of mine installed his 1-2 months ago?
I can find the issue nowhere and am so confused. Other friends can confirm that the apps needed to play are not available for them too.
Hi,
I bought beat sabre a few years ago and a couple of ex packs, now I don't see free upgrade in the store, am I doing something wrong?
Basically what the title says. Is the PSVR 2 worth getting? I already own the original PSVR but am hesitant to get it as none of my PSVR will be compatible with it. On the other hand, I like the easy setup of PSVR 2 and the fact that the tracking looks a lot better. Are there any really good games for PSVR 2 that really make it worth having?
Not sure if anyone else is dealing with this but I can't really play the game at this point.
I've had multiple times where the sound just cuts out and I have to restart my whole PS5 to get it to come back on. Also, right be getting back from the first mission, characters are loading in frozen in A posses and nothing will trigger them to move. I eventually gave up trying because it was such a buzz kill. Add to the fact the characters look like anthropomorphized potatoes, and I'm just not having a fun time after buying onto the hype train. How is the game getting such good reviews?
Hello I was wondering how long the Black Friday sale for the psvr2 is going to last. Does anyone knows if it will go until December 12 like the ps5 sale ?
I saw breachers is on promo rn and i was thinking to get it, but i have to know if still has a good player base to keep playing!
The PS store's Black Friday list does not have many games for PSVR2 (on 11/19). I am disappointed as I was planning to buy a lot of games to treat myself. I hope they add more PSVR2 games.
The long-awaited sequel.
There is a massive psvr2 sale going on rn in Hungary. I would love to experience vr for the first time, but im not sure if its worth the price of entry, since it still costs almost as much as a ps5 with a disc drive.
Update: thanks everyone, pulled the trigger and bought it. So excited!
Nice of Sony to* don’t know where my brain was at with that title lol
Was pleasantly surprised to see Sony release info on 5 upcoming PsVR2 titles, shame that Hitman been delayed. Still waiting on any first party activity though.
Anyone looking forward to any of these? Alien looks terrifying and awesome haha

I have uploaded gameplay from my fresh experience with the game here if you want to see how it looks / plays. My first impressions are shared below:
Based on my limited time with it, I do recommend playing Mare on the PSVR2.
It is a puzzle adventure game where you control a mechanical bird that can fly from perch to perch where you have one ability to use electric zaps to interact with some targets to help solve puzzles that allow you to progress forward. You are aided in this by a little girl that you rescue from chains early in your adventure. It is a game clearly inspired by The Last Guardian with the twist that you are the protector guiding the human.
The game has no hand-holding and it is up to you to figure out the generally intuitive puzzle designs. In addition to just progressing forward, there are optional cat shaped artifacts you can collect that will help you get final ending which are more challenging to figure out. Although your controls don't evolve, it keeps introducing new world interactions / mechanics by which you can direct the little girl and help open your path forward.
There is an abstract story where I think you are an aerial defense robot bird trying to prevent hot air balloon aerial bombs from reaching their targets, but you get injured in Chapter 1 doing that, and now need the little girls help Chapter 2 on with your more limited flight capabilities. You must work together through abandoned structures as you see places ahead of you continue to get bombed.
In this enhanced edition for PSVR2, you have the choice to play using controller (Enhanced Version with More Puzzles / Interactions) or eye-tracking (Classic with Less Puzzles / Simpler Interactions). You can change this setting by accessing the pause menu (any action button) while in the hub area, but you can't once inside one of the 7 chapters. The setting to switch between snap-turns / blink-turns to smooth-turns / continuous-turns is also only accessible while in the hub area and not during one of the chapters. You don't need to use thumbstick to turn if you play standing or in swivel chair. Whichever controller you last use becomes the active controller automatically.
I know it has 7 chapters because there are 7 trophies for completing each of the chapters and then two additional trophies with one for collecting all relics and one for getting final ending. There is no Platinum trophy for this game. It won't be a long game, but I expect to play it start to finish with both control methods and work on figuring out how to collect 100% of the artifacts for the final ending.
Graphically, this game is crisp & clear in the headset with fantastic vistas with huge draw distances and you can see clear signs of eye-tracked foveated rendering in the video capture that you aren't aware of while playing. It must also be 90-120 native because there is no sign of any reprojection. The art style is not trying to look realistic, but it looks gorgeous in the headset.
Audio is another standout with directional sounds, fantastic soundtrack and ambiance. It really works together with the graphics to deliver an atmospheric immersive puzzle adventure.
Haptics are also a standout with really strong headset haptics felt during the flight through storm sequence in Chapter 1. Controller haptics are also present through all use whether using electric zaps or interacting with menu options.
As someone that enjoys Fumito Ueda (Team Ico) games like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian, I appreciate what Mare (Lonekite Games) is doing with its abstract story, strong emphasis on atmosphere & mystery over exposition and its style of AI character interactions to solve puzzles. If the same appeals to you, this is a quality upgraded port of the game for the PSVR2.
The PSVR2 version enhances the experience with impressive haptic features, including adaptive triggers, headset vibrations, foveated rendering and an intuitive eye-tracking-based control system.
The graphics are stunning, particularly the artistic style, which stands out beautifully.
While the game may feel slightly unconventional at first, everything quickly clicks into place after a few minutes of play.
The music and sound design create an immersive atmosphere reminiscent of the PS2 classic *ICO*—a mood I've been yearning for in VR games.
At its core, *MARE* is a puzzle game where you guide a bird, flying from point to point, while a little girl mirrors your movements to navigate towards the exit.
This is a serene, story-driven experience rather than an action-packed game.
There are two minor immersion quirks:
After completing Chapter 2, I feel confident this will become one of my favorite VR puzzlers.
The Team Ico-inspired atmosphere, combined with its silent storytelling and wordless bond-building, is truly special. While there's no Platinum Trophy, don’t let that deter you.
The game feels polished and complete, free of bugs or frustrating design issues that could spoil your enjoyment.
**Pro Tip:** Go for the enhanced control mode—it's absolutely worth it.
**Note:** The original audio in the attached video was replaced with piano music since it included personal conversations during gameplay. I hope you still enjoy the edit!

Basically, it’s only in the USA for now, but later, they will add it in different countries
Is there any racing games for the VR 1 on the store - i have playstation 5 digtal with VR 1
I'm playing RE8 with headphones (Pulse 3D) and I can't tell which is the best setting: Surround on or off? Dynamic range on or off? And what about the equalizer in the PS5 settings??
Thankss
My 11 year old son has a PS5, he's asked for the PSVR2 for Christmas. I've been looking and it seems alot of the VR games, seem to be more adult gaming than suitable for his age. What are people's thoughts, should I perhaps get the PSVR1, where I think if I've read correctly there's a greater catalogue of games? He thinks he can play Minecraft on VR, can he? Sorry for so many questions, just I honestly have no idea when it comes to this and it's alot of money, if not able to use much. Will appreciate any help or advise on this, thanks 🙂
Sony is clearly too incompetent to put this in the store for whatever reason. I dont have a psvr2 and haven’t played it in years so just wanna see what all games I can play.
Edit: Ik im stupid but you dont have to be mean :(
So I bought a pair of honsvr lenses for my quest 3, and they are amazing. its so much nicer than wearing my glasses with it.
so, now trusting the brand i got a pair for my psvr2...and I hate them. for the life of me, i can not find an acceptable sweet spot. either that or the lenses interfere with the eye tracking rendering or something. i'm like 99% sure i installed them right, but its just way more comfortable to just wear my glasses as before. its kinda like my eyes can't focus on anything in the distance, only closeup. Anyone have an alternative brand they can swear by?
