    Japanese-like games on PSVR2

Hello👋, i'm appassionated a lot of Japanese feudal world and Japanese world in general. I was wondering if there are some games or just only one which treat this argument, also 'cause I practice Kenjutsu and it would be great use my knowledge in a game that treat these arguments.

I saw "Arashi Castles of Sin: Final Cut" on the Ps Store, but on Reddit there are only bad recommendation about that game.

So, if you have some recommendations I'm here😁.

Ps: thank you to all the people who will answer me through this post😉👍.

PSVR2 controller not working for No Man’s Sky

I bought NMS specifically for VR (not a cheap game).. I’ve just bought my PSVR and the controller isn’t working in the game. If I reset in game the left controller doesn’t works and R2 lets me get into the game. Reset it again and the left controller works but then I’m stuck in the menu and R2 doesn’t let me enter the game. Only one controller works at a time… has anyone had a similar issue?

Kid A Mnesia would be mint on VR2

This was already an amazing experience on flat screen, especially if you like Radiohead.I wonder if I asked the devs pretty please they might make a VR2 port? 🤣

Seriously though it would be sooo good. There's really not any interactions in it from memory but it would be super immersive.

Anyone who hasn't played this it's free on PS5.

Does the PSVR2 have the same pinpoint focus thing that PSVR1 had?

So I’ve just now set up my new PSVR2 headset. The Sense controllers were both completely drained of battery life, so right now I’m waiting until they’re both fully charged.

One thing I noticed during setup is that, when reading text, it seemed to only be fully in focus when the text was in like dead center of the lenses, like how the PSVR1 was. Given that there’s eye tracking with this new headset, I would have assumed that the center sweet spot would track along with my eyes. Am I wrong in that assumption, or is there something in settings or setup that I’ve missed that fixes that?

Also, somewhat related, the resolution doesn’t seem all that different from the PSVR1…? Granted, it’s been awhile since I’ve used my PSVR1, but how the PSVR2 looks seems to be fairly on par with how I remember it looking. So is there a setting that I’m missing that fixes that too?

Of course, with that said, I’m near-sighted, and wear glasses for distance seeing. Is the issue that I need to wear my glasses with it? I’ve always assumed that since the VR headset is so close to our faces that near-sighted people wouldn’t need them…but maybe I’m wrong with that assumption?

Can anyone recommend a magnetic USB-C connector that work flawlessly with PSVR2?

I usually unplug my headset cable after playing but am concerned about the wear and tear on either the plug or the socket. So I figured I’d get a magnetic connector to mitigate the damage. I ordered this one because I thought it would be fast enough:

    https://amzn.eu/d/9FPySBO

For the most part it works well, but there are periodic spikes where the controllers just don’t register for a split second. I noticed it playing Legendary Tales where my character would just keep walking, or fail to walk as if hitting a wall. It’s not often, but enough to be annoying

And it’s not a problem for something like GT7 or Ultrawings 2 where I’m using a wired wheel or HOTAS

I dunno if the speed isn’t enough, or there’s interference with the controller Bluetooth. My console is on WiFi too which probably doesn’t help

But when I remove the magnetic connector the problem goes away

Can anyone recommend one that works perfectly all the time?

    Arken Age zipline stuck

So I'm in the grand resevoir section of Arken Age. I've got 2 of the valves and am at the top of the area. There's 2 ziplines i put batteries in and rode across. There's another zipline there where the reactor core was that has a battery in it and the button is lit, but pressing it wont activate it and I can't remove the battery.

Did I hit a bug or am I just trying to progress from the wrong way? Thanks for the help :)

Played No Man's Sky and Hated It For 3 Days.

I purchased this game years ago when it was $10 Brand New at GameStop. I had plans to play it on my PSVR1 and never did. Last week, my friend suggested we both start it on PSVR2. I said yes and we started the game and I genuinely just didn't get it. I found myself bored as hell very fast blasting random rocks and I gave up pretty fast. The following 2 days, the same exact thing happened and I saw that my total playtime was about 4 hours and thought to myself "yea, not the game for me." The 4th day, I tried again.....6 hours flew by. Everything clicked for me. An endless fucking universe with trillions of planets, sooo many goals and upgrades to get done and they all feel satisfying, insane weather storms, dog fighting, exploration like nothing else I've ever seen.....I can go on and on. The game is larger than life.

I'm closing on just 30hrs now and I can already say, this is not just the best PSVR2 game I've played, this very well might be the best video game I've ever played in my life. I'm truly blown away and can't stop telling people about it.

    Prescription lenses

Hi guys. I have a the unit since launch and love it. I don't need prescription lenses but from what I hear, it's a good idea to have some to preserve the protective film on the headset lenses. Is this true and if so can you recommend any manufacturer in particular? Thanks ahead of schedule 👍🏿

Alien Rogue Incursion: First 2 hour thoughts.

Jumped in while playing dead space remake and got itchy feet for VR of similar vibe. Ok we are talking different budgets but non the less great visuals, enemy spawning at this stage is fine despite the overwhelming criticism I’ve heard. The vibe is very much Aliens. Great voice acting and text based narrative. BUT I’m struggling with the fact that as a game that seems to draw inspiration from Aliens it is missing the one part that made every single film what it is, AND would be the easiest to implement:

    | The initial environment and music driven tension build up.

The cinematic trailers point at a narrative that is driven by mystery and exploration, hinting at a unique story, before all hell let loose. Yet this far into the game I can’t shake off my initial impression. While I accept the action based setup, the perceived knowledge of Xenomorphs from the outset and their reveal 2 minutes into the game completely deleted the part that the Alien franchise is known for: tension. One minute you’re walking out of the ship. The next you’re shooting an Alien scurrying at you from the roof tops, followed by a brief coms exchange about the place being full of Xenomorphs. Now go and shoot some Aliens.

I have not done my research of where the game slots in the general timeline but even if we assume the Aliens are now a well known threat I just needed a little more build up to seeing my first Xeno. Give me a trail of blood leading to a corpse, green slime dripping from a vent, a cafeteria full of dead Marines, a dark corridor illuminated by my shoulder headlamp, the motion tracker gradually speeding up as I edge towards a dark un identified shape at the end, an unexpected hiss of steam pipe bursting that suddenly throws me off. And then when I finally see the shape at the end of the corridor it reveals itself to be swaying corpse. Then boom, something drops from the ceiling behind me. A brief cinematic of a salivating jaw before that thing pounces at me. That’s it. All I wanted. That’s like 10-15 minutes of corridors, asset placement, tense music, steam and a little time spent on a piece of CGI that these days can easily be done in a week.

Am I far off in my expectations? Did anyone feel the same? Either way, despite the mediocre beginning I look forward to getting some eggheads busted over the next few days.

    No email for repair

On January 22nd, I requested an out of warranty repair for my vr2. After paying, it said to check my email for return instructions, but that email never came. On the 24th I called them and asked what's up and they said they were sending me a box to ship the headset out in, but I haven't gotten that either at this point. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to send out the turn box or should I just call them again?

"Please Connect PlayStation VR" showing on PS4 games on my PS5 even with PS4 Camera Adapter

Title pretty much explains. I have a PS4 camera with an adapter for the PS5 and it works when I got to "Adjust PlayStation Camera".

It takes the picture in 3 locations on the screen and then says "PlayStation Camera Adjusted".

But when I open a game that only one works on the PS4 I get the screen that says "Please Connect PlayStation VR. Am I missing a step?

Any tips going into No Man's Sky?

I'd always ignored No Man's Sky, but decided to pick it up because of the game tier list in this sub. I'm booting it up later, kind of stoked to try it!

I was wondering if anybody had any tips, or if it's a better experience to go in fully blind.

    Arken Age Relic Guide

Anybody have a good guide to collecting the relics. Specifically in the Grand Reservoir? I have all of them but one and this one is driving me crazy. Even with the hints on!

I can get to about 5 meters away but there is a wall and I can’t find another way around.

The game is so new I can’t find much online.

    Thanks in advance!

    Can I skip/shorten room scanning?

99% of the time I just use my PSVR to play GT7, where I am glued to my seat in front of my wheel, so the room scanning is kinda useless to me. Unfortunately the headset can never remember my room so I have to spend almost a full minute scanning my room just to select seated mode. Is there a way to deal with this better? :)

    Doom Vfr

Absolutely loved this first time round when I was new to psvr

I've just got another set up many years later and once again had an absolute blast playing through this game

Can't recommend it enough with the aim controller once you get the controls setup properly

I'm also noticing absolutely no motion sickness at all as I get back into psvr

I'm enjoying it so much more than my quest 2 even though initially the wireless quest seemed a big upgrade

The aim controller is such a cool accessory
