I doubt I’m the first to ask but I can’t find a thread here about this niche cult classic so... Anyway, considering just about any strategy RPG will require a fair amount of time investment, I wanted to get some clarification on this before I really started it since I’ve heard a fair amount of content was removed from this port.
It sucks that I didn’t hear about this until after I purchased the deluxe version of the “Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 2” but I mainly got it so I could have a newer and portable version of “Makai Kingdom: Reclaimed & Rebound” and Z.H.P. was more of a nice perk.
Anyway, is what I read here (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/330529-prinny-presents-nis-classics-vol-2/80024837) true and that nearly all post game content and thus over half the game was removed from the Switch port?
This would really suck but thankfully I still have the original PSP version on my Vita and can even enjoy it on my PS TV when the mood to play on the big screen strikes me so I won’t be completely S.O.L.
I obviously want to get a better understanding of this though so I can decide which version to play for the best/most complete experience. Thanks for your help and advice!
The first game I ever played by Nippon Ichi was La Pucelle and, despite all it's problems, I've really always had a soft spot for it. It's definitely rougher around the edges then Disgaea - the Dark World is just Item World but worse in every way, leveling stats isn't nearly as satisfying as weapon levels, and the cast doesn't really come close - but I remember how hard I found it the first time playing it.
I'm not really sure where to share this, so, uh, here!

Anyone else have a soft spot for it?
There's an NIS game, I'm thinking Soul Nomad, where a character vocally boasts to another that "the world burns!" However, I can NOT find hide nor hair of it, as a videoclip, GIF, or still image. Anyone able to point me in the right direction, or outright provide it?
I bought Labyrinth of Galleria on Switch a day ago because I enjoyed Refrain. I heard that this game's performance is just fine on switch, but It's not like that for me. The battles and menus work perfectly fine, and actually seem to hit almost 60FPS from how smooth they are, but traversing the first and second floors, the game is stuttery and laggy compared to videos I see of the switch version running fine. Aside from turning off the Depth of Field or moving the game from MicroSD to System Memory, is there anything else I can try to make it run better? I haven't tried the System Memory moving yet, but I plan to later. Tried adjusting Depth of Field and it made it marginally better but still bad.
I bought the Raphsody 25th anniversary collection, available in Japan, but when I received it, I had a problem that I hadn't thought of. I don't speak Japanese but the 3 games are in Japanese because basically, it's something intended for Japanese.
Does anyone have an idea to solve the problem, like a patch to install on my switch or an announcement has been made concerning a possible translation (knowing that it already exists on other versions of the games)
Thanks for possible help
Is there an ETA on the big patch for us Westerners ? I'm talking about the big QoL + endgame stuff like Asagi, New Baal, new stat cap etc. released around July 24th.
I'm so hyped for this and I so want to get back into D7 and properly grind to the max !
Did they give any hints on Twitter or one of their recent showcases ? I know marketting is going hard on Phantom Brave right now, but I need my Disgaea fix :D
Rhapsody's original English translation was super cool for a 2000 niche release, but while there's the infamous "This is what you get when you do a direct translation" line, does anyone else know any jokes that were added for the localization? The translators clearly had a ball but I'm wondering how much of the game's wit is theirs and how much is from the original.
Hi NISA community,
I preordered the Trails Through Daybreak limited editions months ago for each console (for myself and family). This shipped around five weeks ago. I'm in Canada, and according to the order tracking, the order made it to customs and was rejected. It was then returned to sender.
I contacted NISA right away through their store support email, but have received no response. I've since emailed two more times, used their contact form, and left phone messages, but have heard nothing back. Has anyone else had this experience? What should I do? My order is currently lost, I'm out the preorder money, and NISA is not responding. I'm obviously stressed and unhappy :(
Thank you for any help or insight!
Backstab is a poorly-worded passive that may confuse players. Here's a fixed version:
Increase critical hit rate by 20%. Increase damage by 25% when attacking enemies from behind or from the side.
Hello!~ I've been playing a lot of Void Terrarium 2 lately (about 40ish hours) and at last I went back and got the true ending!
I've had a lot of fun with this game and I'd love to discuss it with anyone who wants to chat about it!
Interesting thing is that these are all in Japanese, meaning that NIS is potentially going to prioritize PC more making games directly for them without NISA?
