So once I heard that if you kill the four kings first after getting the Lord vessel and not using it you get a new ending but nothing happened when I did it it only put the serpent guy in the abyss. Was I trolled or are there more steps to take.
I've never played DS1 specifically, but I've played Bloodborne and Sekiro so I'm a bit familiar with how it goes. I'm well aware of how frustrating Fromsoft games can be, so I thought I'd do something that would give me a laugh whenever I get killed, and the mental imagery of Elmo running around Lordran and having no idea what's happening. Rest assured, I was 100% sober while creating this monstrosity.
I have beat Elden ring 5 times and Sekiro twice. What should I play next? Im thinking DS:remastered or DS3 any advice?
So, I finished Dark Souls I yesterday and loved it. I have also played Elden Ring and Dark Souls 3 (my Xbox stopped working right when I reached the Lord of Cinder, tho). Considering I have loved all of the games I have played of the saga, I decided to buy Dark Souls 2 to try it out.
The point is, I'm not completely new to the saga. However, I feel a little lost with this one. The hollow system seems overly punishing for a game where you are expected to die a thousand times, and so does the way estus works.
I just started the game, barely explored the forrest of the Giants, so I am obviously still pretty weak. I expect to acquire skill soon enough once I understand the systems, but some help would still be appreciated. So, that brings the question: What tips do you have for me?
bought this game like a week ago, idk if i did a glitch or exploit or wtv but he was really easy all i did was stand still wait for him to attack, parry his attack, visceral, repeat, i've seen some of my friends who complained he was hard even after a few hundred hours into the game and i've seen youtubers also struggle w/ him, not sure if i was over-leveled (level 77) and kinda left disappointed. I wish I could show yall the video and a ss on how many attempts it took to beat each boss but for sum reason i cant upload it??? i'll try to have it fixed, anyways long story short, new player kills last boss easily by parrying in 47s and wonders if i did sum wrong.
I was thinking... maybe the master key shouldn't be available on the first playthrough. There are probably more places, but from the top of my head, to jump through blighttown without never going there, kind of ruins the traumatizing experience from there.
So, once you have beated the game the item becomes available for you to jump that area for example
What do you guys think?
So, first time player, playing a knight with a halberd, just beat the gargoyles, decided to explore the dark wood for a bit, met the moonlight butterfly and got two shot very quickly. Lost around 7000 souls. Debating whether to regain humanity, go back down there, get back the souls and when I die this time I’ll at least keep all of them. It’s probably really dumb so I want to know what the minimum amount of souls you’d need to have lost to consider doing something similar?

btw i havent played demon souls or bloodborne but i did my research on the best boss for those games
I looked all over the internet and couldn’t really find a clear answer. I beat all four bosses in the dlc, but there wasn’t a cutscene or really any finality to it, so I was just a bit confused on whether I had actually beaten it or not. After beating Manus, is the dlc over? Is there more I have to do or can I go back to the main game?
This bandit knife is absolutely carrying this dagger only run. Bleed is absolutely OP!
I picked up a +10 Divine Bastard Sword and a +5 Lightning Guardian Tail. One, how good are they? Two, is my matchmaking screwed permanently now? Can I freely upgrade other weapons without worrying about pvp/co-op?
I can always go for Ornstein’s soul on NG+++ but if anyone wants a Smough soul for an Ornstein soul, I’d really appreciate it!
I can't with this game, I've finished ds2 , ds3 and elden ring and not once that the npc placement was this bad, the run to gargs is sooo bad and full of those red npcs, I am fully regreting playing this game, any tips ig?
Hello everyone, i want to play Dark Souls I, but i dont know if i should buy it for my PS4 PRO, or my Nintendo Switch Lite, please when you answer me consider graphics, and performance(if the FPS rate are stable).
It will be my first time playing this game, so if anybody could give me some advice i would be really happy😄. Thanks everyone
I know there probably a billion of these, but I want to kinda share my opinions on this topic as well. Anyway, here’s my ranking
Bloodborne (this is the first souls like I played and so far might be my favorite)
Dark souls 3
Dark souls remastered
Elden ring (obviously better than dark souls remastered, but I personally didn’t get as into this as I did with dsr)
Dark souls 2 (not a bad game by any means, but definitely the weakest)
And sadly I haven’t played sekiro, if that even is considered a souls like, or demon souls. I hope to get a ps5 one day (cuz my broke ass is still on ps4) and get the demon souls remake. Anyway, thanks for checking this out and let me know your personal opinions.
Hi guys first of all I’m sorry cause this is probably the thousandth question of that kind but I don’t really get it with some halving your casts and others only being good at higher int. I’m planing on using any weapon I can magic infuse until anor londo then the moonlight butterfly horn out off the lightning spear from sens and later moonlight greatsword. So my Skills would look like this: 16 str 10 dex 50 int and the rest in vit, end and some att. What would be the best catalysts I should use on my way. I only played with melee weapons and without shield in all souls games until now so I probably will use my melee weapon most of the time just out of instinct so halving my casts wouldn’t matter much I guess. Thanks for any help in advance and sorry again for the stupid question but I’m a big magic noob.
i love solaire
So Im playing on a 15hr character and am attempting the soul duplication glitch does anyone know if this is patched or if I’m just doing it wrong?
My Xbox One says I own the Artorias DLC. However the 360 marketplace says I still need to buy it on the same account. I checked my download and purchase history on both consoles and didn’t see anything related to Dark Souls. Is there a reason why my 360 doesn’t recognize that I do own the DLC on the same account on my Xbox One?
I hadn't played DS1 (Steam) in a while and fired up the game yesterday to continue with my latest FTH STR build. To my surprise beside my other 5 characters there was a character I never made or played as. The characters name was Angela and she was at Firelink with an Uchigatana and some sorceries equipped.
How is this even remotely possible? Dark Souls characters are saved locally on PC, so no cloud shenanigans could have been going on. Where did this character come from? Noone has access to my computer but me..
So i started playing the dark souls trilogy about a month ago and so far i beat ds1 and am almost half way through ds3 but i am very interested in ds lore but im not smart enough to exract the lore from the item descs so what is a very good channel on yt that has all of the ds lore covered (maybe even elden ring, demon souls, bloodborne and sekiro as i plan to tackle those next) bcs i would love to know any and every lore aspect of the soulsborne games
Ive finished ds2 and ds3 and thought that ds1 was gonna be good. And it is up until BLIGHTTOWN. Everything just toxics me or hits me off of the platform. How do i just speedrun this place and enjoy the game further?Blind playthrough and im using Black Knight Sword+3d
I don't know how I managed to do it but somehow I decided fighting Manus while drunk and high was a great idea, and I put him down in 6 tries.
Anyone else ever kill a really hard boss while intoxicated? This is the first time I've ever done it and I've heard how hard Manus is, maybe my second playthrough I'll have a harder time with him.
I'm trying to get ds1 platinum, and I'm only missing the miracles trophy. Is it necessary to make a cleric build for this trophy? or can I play another way?
Don’t tell me I just need to parry, I’m in a hurry, I just need to beat him to get his miracle, I leave for work soon
I'm currently at the smough and ornstein fight and I'm only doing 40 damage with my uchigatana+10 is it because of my dex which is currently at 16? Should I level it up?

I forgot which game I heard this from, but it has always been stuck in my mind, probably from a game like Dark Souls, the music is more gloomy, with piano and maybe a string orchestra
