i hate capra demon boss sm you don't understand
I'm looking for help with gwyn on ng+ I can't seem to get him below half health. Anyone available to summon and help me kill him?
I’m playing Dark Souls Remastered currently as my first ever Souls game. I’m in Undead Burg and have died a few times on the run to the boss and once to the boss. Here’s where I’m confused-
Say I start the level over at the bonfire after dying. Kill a few mobs, then run back, use bonfire again and repeat when they respawn. What’s preventing me from just leveling up my dude infinitely by killing the enemies on the way to the boss over and over again and farming the souls? Is it pointless?
So I just got dark souls trilogy and got 2 questions Do I get all dlc’s with it and if answer is yes are they bulid in discs because there are no codes inside and it (sorry if this question has been asked before)
After so many been released and so many ideas and bosses and boss moves and different aesthetics/worlds from all the souls/soulslike games. What is left at this point? I feel like at this point all the upcoming souls games will be copy cats or stuff we already seen before especially the soulslikes. What do you guys think? DS1 did so much new stuff cause the genre was so new but now what could be new? I played most souls/soulslikes and i feel like the entire genre is finished and out of ideas at this point. Like a whole science that’s been concluded and researched entirely.
Title says it all. Still don't have the BSS but have the gold serpent ring and lots of humanity.
Is it better to farm for it in the Undead Parish or Sen's Fortress? More specifically, which Balder Knights are the side sword wielders and have a chance to drop it?
Got launched thru ceiling
DLC Spoilers ahead; read at your own risk.

I got into Dark Souls around the start of the pandemic, and as much as I love the game, Manus always felt like a chore to fight. Mainly because he has two attacks that felt like they came out so fast I didn't have time to react to them. Those attacks being the wombo-combo and the magic shotgun blast. For a long time, those have been the only attacks of his that would ever spell my doom, and when I'm dying to the exact same attacks, and only ever those attacks, on every attempt, I would really start to lose my patience with Manus.
Well, and friend of mine and I have been doing challenge runs where we try to beat the game at SL1, starting gear only, no Estus. Fighting Manus like this finally opened my eyes as to how much positioning matters in that fight. The problem I was having with those 2 attacks was that I was too close to Manus. I knew coming into the boss that I'd have to account for how squishy I was, so I was keeping some space between us for most of the fight...And wouldn't ya know, those two attacks are multitudes easier to react to when you have adequate spacing between yourself and Manus! Wombo-combo all I need to do is walk backwards, dodge-rolling the first hit if necessary, and he just whiffs all of the other attacks in the combo. And for the magic shotgun blast, I have plenty of time to use the Silver Pendant to deflect the projectiles.
It still took about 2 hours worth of attempts to beat Manus, but with a little practice, a whole lot of patience, (and some help from the Red Tearstone Ring), I was able to defeat the Father of the Abyss. And my failed attempts no longer felt like I was getting cheesed by an absurd combo or a projectile attack that comes out too quickly for me to react to. If I died, it was because I made a mistake, not because the game was demanding too much of me.
So yeah...Any previous complaints I had about Manus seem to have evaporated. He really is a perfect balance of difficult and fair. Thank you Manus for being just the way you are...Dare I say...I might even look forward to our next rematch!
Anyone else surprised at how good this song is , feel like The Lonely Knight deserve more view for his work.

Doing my first sorcery playthrough of ds1 and I thought I had heard that sorceries were bad in ds1 but so far ive just been melting through everything. Is there a significant effectiveness drop somewhere or had I just heard wrong?
I want to do a Magic Knight build but don't know which stats would be best. Any suggestions?
Ive searched on reddit and Google but couldnt find one, i hope someone can link me it, thanks in advance and please excuse my Bad english✌️
So I’m playing DS1 for the first time and I’m using the zweihander. Is this cheesing the game?
Cause I’m just one shoting everything. While my vitality is mad low I feel like it’s not an issue if I just keep killing thing in one move. I just wanna know if I’m cheesing. I’m at the gaping dragon for context
I got the Dark Souls Trilogy on PS5 and loved Dark Souls 1 and 2 but i have 4hours in Dark Souls 3 and it feels very mid i dont get why so much people say than its the best of the trilogy... i hate the hud , the gameplay is weird its between Dark Souls and Bloodborne , it feels like my character is slower than every ennemies and the animations are weird idk i cant get into the game and its annoying maybe i am doing something wrong...
Edit : I made a new character (the level 1 with all stats at 10) and its just better to play with the club , i finished the swamp (hated it but its okay its not very long) i hope i'll like the game , next boss is abyss watchers !
Here's to hoping this whole thing wasn't simply lost in translation from Japanese and got me overthinking it.
But I was wondering about the etymology of these two terms.
Why is "Dark Sun" written in two capitalized words, and "Darkmoon" is a single word?
Does it convey a deeper meaning to Gwyndolin? What about her/him and the repeated use of the "Dark" adjective to talk about the sun and moon?
I'm aware of the whole duality motif around Gwyndolin as a character, exemplified by his/her sexuality, but I don't think it explains how the terms "Dark Sun" and "Darkmoon" are spelled.
I haven't played DS2 and 3 yet, but will in about a week. I've heard the Lordvessel goes missing. Is there any lore behind what happened to it? is it just not needed after the CU links the flame?
Is there any way to kill the skeletons in catacombs anyway possible
Ive been thinking about like +15 falchion with hyper mode on (rtsr, power within, sanctus shield) to fight the artorias boss battle. While the artorias battle is happening though i want to use rolls and backsteps to dodge his attacks for clips. Heres the problem, i cant wear armor since i wont have any rings that boost my equip load % or endurance. So whenever i do runbacks i basically just get 1 shotted by every enemy turning it into a no hit run. Any tips??
How to play with ur friend? I think it’s impossible
So, I guess I suck at parrying because I tried to beat Gwyn about 20 times and kept dying. Finally I switched to a fully upgraded Zweihander and killed him in about 3 minutes just by repeatedly staggering him.
I’m a PS4 player who is trying to find people online on Dark Souls: Remastered so that I can help kill the bosses in other worlds while I lower the faith requirement to join the Warrior of Sunlight Covenant in my world.
However, I haven’t been able to find a good place to leave a summon based on player level so I am hoping I could find people on reddit who are still playing.
My summon sign should have the name “Mark Mortis” and I will be leaving the sign near the bonfire entering the Chasm of the Abyss. I live on the West Coast of the USA so I will only be available around that time. If anyone prefers for me to appear somewhere else, just let me know.
