Does anyone think the next game will be different with it being self published by Fromsoftware?

Does anyone think the fact that the next FromSoft game will self-published could change anything about the games. I think they’ll be changed due to this change in publishing, but only for the better? Maybe they aren’t self-publishing, just the way I read the article made me think so.

Why are linear games hated?

I really don't understand why the games which are linear are not considered fun..like when i said to ppl that I think lies of P is S tier most of the people say that it's linear..personally I think linear games are not better than open world but it doesn't means that it should be neglected..let's see an example of elden ring the game is peak but i have to use guides for most of the bosses where to go n all but in ds3 I don't think I've ever used any guide..so why is linear bad?

Enough boss fight discussions, what are your favourite areas across each game?

For me, it's :

Dark Souls - Anor Londo

Dark Souls II - Tie between Dragon Aerie, Shulva and Brume Tower.

Dark Souls III - Irithyll and Lothric Castle

Bloodborne - Fishing Hamlet

Sekiro - Fountainhead Palace

Elden Ring - For legacy dungeons, it's either Leyndell or Farum Azula. For open world areas it's much harder to say so I'll just say I like Limgrave, Caelid, Abyssal Woods, Jagged Peak and Rauh a lot.

What do you think are the most iconic Soulsborne songs?

Songs from the soundtracks that typify the moods of the series, highly memorable songs, etc

Elden Ring is too big.

Promised consort/consort of Miquella Radahn boss fight is objectively hard to 99,9% of the people, some would say it is unfair or even impossible to them.

The map of Elden Ring is objectively big. And it's funny to explore, wander around, kill some stuff. You have tons of roads, caves and dungeons for you to explore. Some have really cool designs, items and funny fights. But at some point, you wont go and see for youself, cause you'll learn the goods one are the minority and the rest is pretty much just shit. And this isn't just about the map and exploration.

I spent more than 14 hours to beat Starscourge Radahn, Messmer and Ludwig also took a long time. I'm fighting consort Radahn for around the same time. And its nowhere near fun as the 3 other fights. I aint close to kill him and I dont have idea when I will.

I defeated Orphan of Kos at my second try. Because I am good at Bloodborne. I spent more than 100 hours in the game and I learned with it, I was able to parry his attacks, dogde from what I couldnt parry, see my openings to attack him and to heal myself.

This is the exact opposite of how I feel about the Radahn. Elden Ring is a lot bigger than Dark Souls and Bloodborne, in everything, specially numbers. I was doing 2000 damage to OoK with a visceral and was really happy with it. In Radahn, I deal 1000 damage with a single r2 and his hp bar barrely moves. I have 1900 hp and it don't feel enough to fight him. I can wander around the map, fight more hippos to pick emotree fragments and kill shit bosses to level up, return stronger and fight him again. And I know it wont work, because only my numbers will get bigger, I wont learn anything from it, I already have more than 200 hours in the game, and Radahn will push these numbers up.

(When I beat Radahn, I will come here and edit to say that Im just crying cause I need to git gud.)

TL;DR: Elden Ring map should have 60% of its size and consort Radahn boss fight is bullshit.

Eternal Ring - PS4/PS5 - Controller Stick Support?

Hello friends,

Quick easy question I couldn't seem to find the answer for. Can anyone confirm for me if Eternal Ring on the PS4/PS5 store has stick support for the controller? I know in the original release it did not so I was curious if that change was made when they brought the game to modern generations consoles.

Thanks a ton! Have a great day.
